When it comes to the CW vampire drama “The Originals,” there's vengeance, and then there's the kind of vengeance that Sebastian Roche's character — Mikael — dishes out: The kind that rips people's hearts right out of their chests. But that's just one aspect of Mikael's upcoming journey in season two of the show, which will return this October. Roche stopped by TheWrap's Comic-Con video lounge at the “Walking Dead Escape” in Petco Park to tell Greg Gilman about that heart-ripping scene, and offer some friendly advice to the zombiefied reporter. First, my confession: I'm a good chunk of episodes behind on the first season of The CW's "The Originals." I fell behind on both of my CW vampire dramas this past season, but I was able to catch up on "The Vampire Diaries" in recent weeks. I'll catch up on "The Originals" before the second season premieres, but I'm not there yet. Hopefully I won't embarrass myself with this live-blog, but if I say anything stupid, you'll know why. Apologies. That was an intense two hours in Hall H. I live-blogged the "Walking Dead" panel, which included a premiere date. And I live-blogged the "Game of Thrones" panel, which included a bunch of casting for Season 5. Now it's time for an afternoon of CW live-blogs. Up first, The CW's Hour With Phoebe Tonkin panel, which has been mislabeled as "The Originals" in your Comic-Con program and features a lot of »

Command Returns To Pope & Associates
We begin with Jake (Scott Foley), Liv (Kerry Washington), Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) having a heated discussion in her office while Huck (Guillermo Díaz), Abby (Darby Stanchfield), David (Joshua Malina) and Harrison (Columbus Short) try to listen in from the next room, kept there by one of Fitz’s secret service men. Jake is furious that Liv just destroyed B-613, and both Fitz and Cyrus are uncomfortable with having B-613 yanked out of power, especially in light of the revelation that Maya is planning on blowing up the President. Jake shares whatever intel on the plot he has, but it isn’t much. What he does have is video of the man who sold Maya (Khandi Alexander) the bomb, »
One of my favorite actors, who never seems to star in his own shows, is coming to ABC’s Scandel. He’s been working the grind for years, travelling from series to series and always adding a little something extra. He’s been on many of my absolute favorite shows, like Fringe, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. Considering how much he added to those shows, I can only hope the trend will continue with his time on Scandal. Oh, by the way, I’m talking about the one and only Sebastian Roché. Not only is he freakishly dashing (especially that accent), but he’s cool as all hell too. I bet a night on the town with this guy is a night you don’t forget.
The news of Roché’s casting came to light when the actor made a post to his Twitter account. He tweeted, “I repeat, I »

Leave it to Biebs to get the Twitterverse all riled up. TMZ on Monday released video of Justin Bieber's six-hour-long deposition. The pop star was being questioned as part of a lawsuit alleging he ordered his bodyguard to attack a photographer. And while it's no laughing matter, people Tweeted comical reactions to the singer's behavior. An irritated Bieber, 20, is shown in the video getting angry when grilled about on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez. "Don't ask me about her again," Bieber said repeatedly before having to take a break. Another clip shows Bieber comparing the deposition to a Katie Couric or 60 Minutes interview. »

The Originals, Season 1, Episode 15, “Le Grand Guignol”
Directed by Chris Grismer
Airs Tuesdays at 8pm Est on The CW
On this week’s The Originals, Camille attempts to calm Klaus’s anger, Mikael pays New Orleans a visit in the ’20s, Rebekah and Marcel plan their next move, Davina is resurrected (!!), Elijah hunts Celeste, and Hayley seeks a cure for her family.
Between “Le Grand Guignol” and last week’s episode, The Originals is dialing back on the large-scale drama and focusing instead on the show’s namesake–a storytelling move that’s proving to be an excellent decision. The original family’s past (and present) is ripe with fresh stories to tell that lend both heady drama and subtle character development to the show. Plus, any story that results in flashbacks to the ’20s is a good (or at least entertaining) one, »

We can't hide our affection for "The Originals," and if you're planning to experience "Le Grand Guignol" with us tomorrow night, here are a dozen and a half photos from Episode 1.15, which sees the return of Sebastian Roche as Mikael.

A Night At The Opera — In a series of flashbacks to 1919, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) opens up to Cami (Leah Pipes) and reveals details of the devastating secret Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) were trying to keep from him.

It’s official, Originals fans! Mikael is coming to town.
We suspected we’d see the Original father at some point, but we’ve now confirmed that he will show up in the upcoming episode on Tuesday, March 4. Viewers will get a flashback to 1919 when Mikael arrived in New Orleans after being summoned by Rebekah and Marcel.
For those fans who didn’t see Mikael when he came to The Vampire Diaries, he’s the father of the Original family, though he isn’t Klaus’ biological father. Klaus’ mother, Esther, had an affair with a werewolf, hence Klaus’ hybrid capabilities »

Thanks to the Olympics, it's been a while since we last saw the Original family on "The Originals." Quick recap time: Everyone's screwed.
Elijah (Daniel Gillies) chose to save Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) from the witches over Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Claire Holt), so they're still missing ... and in grave danger. Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and Rebekah's secret shame over being the ones to tip off Mikael (Sebastian Roche) that Klaus was in New Orleans back in the '20s is in danger of being exposed now that Genevieve (Elyse Levesque), their accomplice, is back from the dead. And the witches declared an all-out war on everyone, with Sophie (Daniella Pineda) being the first casualty -- killed by her own niece. Brutal.
But the witches didn't just target the Originals, though. Father Kieran (Todd Stashwick) is in pretty hot water at the moment, cursed with the same hex that led »
