In 1984, while appearing on stage in Brendan Behan's "The Hostage" (directed by Jim Sheridan) at the Irish Arts Centre on West 51st Street in NYC, her father, Peter O'Toole, made a surprise entrance at the end of the show on closing night to play a bit part.
