The filmed works of David Fincher aren't limited to the cinema. In fact, Fincher has made more music videos and commercials than he has movies and today I've decided to highlight a selection of Fincher's music videos from those that will have you nodding your head saying, "Yup, that looks like something Fincher would have directed," and others that will have you saying, "What? Really? The guy that made Zodiac, Seven and Fight Club made that?" I did my best to find a few quotes for some of the videos, a few facts on others and I can also suggest you look for the likes of Djimon Hounsou in Madonna's "Express Yourself" and Paula Abdul's "Straight Up", Christopher Walken in Madonna's "Bad Girl" and you can also find supermodels such as Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford in the video for George Michael's "Freedom! »

Director David Fincher is nabbing all sorts of acclaim for his new film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" –the Daniel Craig-Rooney Mara starrer enjoys an 94 percent "fresh" rating on movie review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

Duran Duran's latest music video 'Girl Panic' has been banned from television networks. The video - which stars supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Helena Christensen and Yasmin Le Bon posing as the band - will not be aired on MTV and VH1 as it has been branded too sexual. According to reports, a source said: "MTV are simply overreacting to this video, it's not like this is anything new in pop videos, which have always been controversial. Compared to some pop videos this is all rather tame. "The video was also banned for its blatant product placement, yet this is how videos are made today. Four million viewers on YouTube have already seen the video anyway, it's a bit of light-hearted fun, titillation and escapism." The ban comes 30 years after the group's 'Girls On Film' (more) »

The barrister David Sherborne told the Leveson inquiry that a newspaper doorstepped Hjk out of the blue in 2006, and that the News of the World subsequently hacked their phone. "The effect on Hjk was profound," Sherborne said. "The story about the quintessentially private relationship almost hit the headlines, but was displaced by another story which, thankfully, blew up the same day." Hjk was also followed by a photographer who took pictures shortly after they had been diagnosed with a serious illness, prompting them to fear newspapers had obtained sensitive medical information. "Hjk would not be the first to have suffered such a fate," Sherborne said. Hjk will be giving evidence in private.

The group of catwalk stars also includes Eva Herzigova and Yasmin Le Bon, wife of Duran Duran frontman Simon, and they are seen wearing the band's trademark suits and playing instruments in the promo for Girl Panic!
Duran Duran keyboardist Nick Rhodes explains, "Harpers had approached us about collaborating with the magazine on something really special... I'd had had this crazy idea for a video for the song Girl Panic! that looked fantastic on paper but that I thought in reality would be impossible to pull off.
"The idea was to recreate a day-in-the-life of the band, with five of the world's greatest supermodels playing all of us. (They) loved the idea of doing a cover shoot within the video itself - and so it all began."
Singer Simon Le Bon adds, "We have made some pretty ambitious videos over the years, but this one was certainly the most challenging to date.
"Co-ordinating the schedules of five of the world's biggest supermodels, Jonas, and the band was no easy task - but we couldn't be happier with the finished film. It has all of the ingredients that we feel are important - it's humorous, glamorous, sexy and very Duran Duran." »
