This new trailer starts off the exact same way as the first trailer, which arrived in earlier February. But Wimp fans, don't be so quick to turn away. There is a ton of new footage here and plenty of fresh jokes as a squad of seagulls attack the Heffley family en route to grandma's house.
Last year, 20th Century Fox gave fans a sneak peek at the new cast members who replace all of the stars from the first three Wimpy Kid movies. Jason Drucker »

Like it or not, the awards race 2018 is already underway.
Painful as it may sound, the awards marathon is at least a 12-month proposition these days. With Sundance in the rear-view mirror, the talk of potential 2018 Oscar candidates is already underway in industry circles.
Below, Screen runs through 13 films that could be heading to the dance this time next year (the Oscars will be held one week later in 2018, on March 4).
Matt Damon, Kristen Wiig and Christoph Waltz (all previously nominated) star in awards perennial Alexander Payne’s social satire in which a man realizes he would have a better life if he were to shrink himself. Currently in post-production, the film is slated for a December 22 release through Paramount, which is financing. Payne’s last six films have been Oscar-nominated.

When the original Diary Of A Wimpy Kid movie first arrived in 2010, it would have been hard to conceive that it could become a four-film-spawning franchise that would still be kicking some seven years later. However, after a five-year dormancy, the series, based on the irreverent novels written and illustrated by Jeff Kinney, is set to relaunch with its fourth film entry Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul. Seeing as said “wimpy kid, »
20th Century Fox has debuted the first teaser trailer and poster for Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul, which is set to hit theaters on May 19. This trailer pokes some fun at the superhero genre, in its own unique way, teasing that none of the caped crusaders, galactic guardians or amazing web slingers over the past decade dared to be "wimpy" like the title character Greg, portrayed by Jason Drucker. This trailer gives fans a better look at the brand new cast that has been assembled for this fourth Wimpy Kid movie.
Back in November, 20th Century Fox unveiled a preview that gave fans a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the new cast members, who replace all of the stars from the first three Wimpy Kid movies. Jason Drucker replaces Zachary Gordon as Greg, with Charlie Wright replacing Devon Bostick as his older brother Rodrick and Owen Asztalos replacing Robert Capron as Rowley. »
With four films likely premiering (or already set for a release) this year, Jake Gyllenhaal has now found his next role. The Enemy star is set to join Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly for The Sisters Brothers, according to Variety. The latest film from Palme d’Or-winner Jacques Audiard (Dheepan, A Prophet, Rust and Bone), the neo-noir western is an adaptation of the novel by the same name from Patrick DeWitt, which centers on two brothers (Riley and Phoenix) who are hired to kill a man. This will be Audiard’s first full English-language film and as for Gyllenhaal, following last fall’s Nocturnal Animals, he’ll have Life, Stronger, Wildlife, and Okja all arriving this year.
Meanwhile, another top Hollywood star, Oscar Isaac, has joined the cast of a new World War II thriller titled The Garbo Network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the espionage tale penned by »

Sam Rockwell, Steve Zahn, Wyatt Russell, Kris Kristofferson and Hawke will be joining Ben Dickey, Alia Shawkat, Sybil Rosen, Charlie Sexton, and Josh Hamilton in the music biopic based on singer and songwriter Blaze Foley.
Co-written, produced and directed by Hawke, the film is based on Sybil Rosen’s memoir ‘Living in the Woods in a Tree.’ It follows the life of the unsung songwriting legend of the Texas Outlaw Music movement that spawned the likes of Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. Dickey will star as the musician, Shawkat plays Rosen and Rosen portrays her own mother.
Rosen, who co-wrote the film with Hawke, was Blaze’s real, life-long love and their passionate affair is said to form the narrative spine of the film.

Captain Fantastic, 2016.
Directed by Matt Ross.
In the forests of the Pacific Northwest, a father devoted to raising his six kids with a rigorous physical and intellectual education is forced to leave his paradise and enter the world, challenging his idea of what it means to be a parent.
“Our names are unique, there’s only one of us in the world,” George McKay’s Bodevan Cash declares in Matt Ross’ sophomore feature Captain Fantastic, thus causing all alarms to blare. There’s a very fine line between quirky and kooky and in burying that line in mud, grime and spittle, Ross succeeds in finding an equilibrium, all be it one that often falters awkwardly. For while CBS’ Sundays-at-10 (or 10:30-ish!) time slot is no picnic, and any number of dramas have capped NBC’s Thursday line-up over the years, ABC’s Tuesdays-at-10 “death slot” has earned a notorious nickname that even the casual viewer likely knows.
All told, S.H.I.E.L.D. is the ninth drama to claim that spot since September 2011, when »
