Russell Simmons Accused of Sexual Assault While Brett Ratner Allegedly Watched
Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons has been accused of committing sexual assault while director Brett Ratner allegedly watched, according to an article by The Los Angeles Times.

Model Keri Claussen Khalighi claims that in 1991, Simmons and Ratner took her out for dinner in New York, and then they returned to Simmons' apartment to watch a music video the pair were working on. There, she alleges that Simmons made unwanted advances on her, and claims that when she asked Ratner for help, he "just sat there and watched."

“I fought it wildly,” Khalighi tells the newspaper about Simmons' alleged attempt to have intercourse with her.

She claims to the L.A. Times that Simmons eventually coerced her to perform oral sex, and also alleges that he briefly penetrated her without her consent after she went to take a shower.

Simmons vehemently denied the allegations in a statement on his website.

"I am a supporter of the #MeToo campaign and the victims

Allied (Robert Zemeckis)

That thing we can’t take for granted: a film whose many parts – period piece, war picture, blood-spattered actioner, deception-fueled espionage thriller, sexy romance, and, at certain turns, comedy – can gracefully move in conjunction and separate from each other, just as its labyrinthine-but-not-quite plot jumps from one setpiece to the next with little trouble in maintaining a consistency of overall pleasure. Another late-career triumph for Robert Zemeckis,

Feuding Harvey Weinstein and The Weinstein Company Named Co-Defendants in Lawsuits Filed by Two Actresses
The Weinstein Company and its fired co-chairman, Harvey Weinstein, have been served two new California civil lawsuits in the past 24 hours. Each plaintiff is an actress listed as Jane Doe, but the second case is a class action suit that could amass many more accusers.

On November 14, TMZ first reported a lawsuit in which a woman claims Weinstein raped her at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel in 2016 after she was falsely told that she’d been cast in the now-cancelled Netflix series “Marco Polo,” which he executive produced. She said that the assault began with Weinstein performing unwanted oral sex on her, then penetrating her without a condom as she attempted to fight him off. At the same hotel in 2015, she was allegedly forced to watch the studio chief masturbate while he clutched her wrists with his free hand.

J.K. Simmons and Ben Affleck discuss Justice League’s “badass” Commissioner Gordon

In just a few days time, we’ll be introduced to the newest take on Gotham City’s Police Commissioner James Gordon, as Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons makes his DC Extended Universe debut in the DC blockbuster Justice League, and Simmons has been chatting about his “badass” take on the iconic character.

“My take on Commissioner Gordon is that he’s a badass,” said Simmons. “But that’s an under-appreciated part of who he is, because he’s eclipsed by the ultimate badass, Batman. But Gordon is a tough ex-Marine, who worked his way up and can handle himself in the turf of bad guys. Compared to Batman, he’s just a regular guy, but compared to most people, he’s a champion.”

“I did another movie with J.K. called The Accountant, and he’s a fine actor,” added Ben Affleck, who could reunite with Simmons on The Batman, assuming
