Fyzz Facility's Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones on Wide-Release Aspirations
After being introduced by David Schwimmer at the wrap party for his directorial debut Run Fatboy Run in 2006, it took another couple of years before Brit execs Wayne Marc Godfrey and Robert Jones got talking again (at Cannes’ famous industry soccer match, no less). But it was in 2010 when the two decided to pool their financial and film industry know-how to form The Fyzz Facility. Initially a lending house, first providing a small loan for the 2012 Brit indie Best Laid Plans, Fyzz has grown exponentially, last year providing roughly $150 million to some 60 films (including Wind...

When Us TV shows take a trip to England

Scott Varnham Feb 21, 2018

A look back when Channel 4 invited the cast and crew of Friends to film here in the UK, and other Us shows that made the trip...

Granted, if you’re reading this site then you already know that TV productions routinely use locations to double as other places. Due South was set in Chicago but filmed in Toronto. Community was set in Colorado but filmed in Los Angeles. But sometimes they wear their locations on their sleeves; for example, when they take a trip abroad to London. In this feature, we take a look at the reasons why several Us TV shows have filmed over the pond and showcased England in all its glory.

One reason for productions to film over here is that they could qualify for substantial tax breaks. For example, if a TV production’s core spending is all in the UK, they

You’d absolutely Love the Skittles Super Bowl commercial for 2018 — if only you could see it! Why? Because the advert for the candy is only going to be shown to one person, a teenager from Canoga Park, California, named Marcos Menendez. In the lead-up, Skittles released four spots featuring David Schwimmer questioning whether he was part of the advert. The first showed him sitting on a bench feeding skittles to a sandwich. A second showed him floating in some sort of other dimension. In the third, Schwimmer has some sort of super-powers — and a bowl cut. While in the...read more

Even if you’re a loyal fan of Friends, you might still not immediately recognize David Schwimmer in Skittles’ new Super Bowl ads.

The actor stars in four 15-second teaser advertisements that drive speculation of what the actual multi-million dollar commercial might be on Feb. 4.

But this year, Skittles is making the pricey ad (which will also feature Schwimmer) most exclusive Super Bowl ad ever by only showing the final footage to one person: a teenager from Canoga Park, USA, named Marcos Menendez.

“The highly exclusive ad will not be leaked to the public, and no, this is not a joke.

David Schwimmer Stars in a 2018 Super Bowl Ad He Will Never See

David Schwimmer Stars in a 2018 Super Bowl Ad He Will Never See
Is this David Schwimmer's 2018 Super Bowl ad? He'll never know. While the Friends alum is the star of Skittles' upcoming ad for the big game, Schwimmer won't ever know exactly how it plays out—because only one person will ever see the final footage. That lucky guy is teen Marcos Menendez from Canoga Park, Calif. Fortunately, Schwimmer has a slight idea of what the ad could ultimately entail thanks to four eccentric rough cut videos. In one clip, the actor plays a bizarre tiny third wheel to a puppet and his owner. In another, he's floating in a windblown abyss while in a third, he's sporting a bowl cut and glowing eyes outside of a grocery...
