However, Wheeler told Digital Spy that she was hoping for Janice to end up in bed with Joey as well.
"Yes [I'm upset]!" she said. "Absolutely. When Matt LeBlanc had his show Joey, I strongly suggested to the producers that they should bring me on. I think it was her last stone unturned."
Asked what the couple would be like, she replied: "Janice and Joey? Great for her - hell for him!"
Elsewhere, Wheeler admitted that the moment when the audience discovers that Janice has slept with Ross was her favourite surprise entrance.
"The audience had no idea - absolutely no idea - that I was coming," she said. »

90s nostalgia is running rampant, with The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story airing on Labor Day, Girl Meets World pulling in huge ratings for Disney, and a Full House reboot on the way. Now comes the Friends reunion we've all been waiting for, which happened last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Just like everyone else on the planet Jimmy Kimmel was a big fan of the show Friends. In fact he loved it so much that he wrote some Friends fan fiction and he managed to get Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow to act it out with him. Check it out.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow have reunited over the years on their various tv series and projects, but this is the first time the trio has appeared on the Friends set since the final episode aired in May of 2004.
But where is Matt LeBlanc, »
The five minute sketch, which followed Aniston’s guest appearance on the show, began with Kimmel telling the actress he was a huge fan of the ’90s sitcom and that he wanted to act out some “fan fiction” with her. Shortly after, Cox and Kudrow surprised the live audience on Kimmel’s fake set of Rachel and Monica’s apartment (“it cost us $80,000 to build this,” he joked).
Kimmel played Ross in the sketch (David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc did not appear) to the sexual admiration of his fellow “Friends,” who ‘performed’ jokingly in character as Rachel, Monica and Phoebe.
The surprise is said to be tied to next month’s 20th anniversary of the NBC show’s premiere. To further commemorate the occasion, a replica of the »

Calling all Friends fans in (or with access to) New York City: You’re about to get an exciting perk. Central Perk, that is.
Warner Bros. and Eight O’Clock Coffee are partnering to re-create the NBC sitcom’s iconic coffee shop in New York City this fall, Entertainment Weekly was first to report.
In addition to providing free coffee, the pop-up location in downtown Manhattan will allow visitors to take photos on the orange couch from the show, enjoy weekly musical performances — perhaps David Schwimmer will have another go on the keyboard? — and play trivia games. Bonus: James Michael Tyler »
Ariel Vromen’s next film – Criminal – is shaping up to be proof positive of the filmmaker’s ability to attract fascinating casting combinations. Where his previous movie – 2012’s The Iceman – featured Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, James Franco, Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta and David Schwimmer, his forthcoming venture is bringing in names even more legendary in nature.
The plot centres around a dangerous criminal, who is tasked by the CIA to complete a dead agent’s mission after they implant that agent’s memories and experiences into his brain. Kevin Costner will feature in the leading role, with Ryan Reynolds, Tommy Lee Jones and Gary Oldman also signing up. By anyone’s standards, that’s quite a lot of testosterone, so we now have the announcement that Alice Eve will also co-star.
Having built a solid foundation for herself in recent years, with supporting roles in films such as The Raven, »

Details have been revealed about the much-mooted Broadway debut of popular curmudgeon and co-creator of Seinfeld Larry David. Fish In The Dark, written by David, showcases the Curb Your Enthusiasm star in a role that shockingly isn’t a million miles from what he does best. Throw in a plot, so to speak, about a family bereavement and you have all the ingredients for a comedy blacker than Marilyn Manson’s duvet cover. Unless he’s planning a deviation into dramatic territory (highly unlikely but we can’t rule it out) this looks to be more of the trademark Larry-based calamity, though the chance to see this brilliant performer spew venom live makes the production a hot ticket from the off.
David famously put himself on the New York stage in a fictionalized capacity opposite David Schwimmer in The Producers via Curb, so Fish In The Dark has him putting »

Anna Gunn could very well win her second consecutive Emmy for Breaking Bad in about three weeks on the West Coast—but right now, she’s laying down some East Coast roots in Sex With Strangers, a new drama directed by David Schwimmer. The role is only the actress’s second major New York City stage part (she was in the supporting cast of The Rehearsal opposite Frances Conroy and Roger Rees back on Broadway in 1996), but the reviews for her and costar Billy Magnussen (soon to be seen in the long-awaited film of James Lapine/Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods; by the way, »

On July 8, J.K. Rowling released a short, short story about grown-up Harry Potter and the Sequel She Swore She’d Never Write, and over in the magical land of central Florida, the Harry Potter theme park’s Diagon Alley expansion is entertaining six-hour lines on opening day. So apparently, it’s Harry Potter day, and to celebrate this completely random occasion, I’ve decided to do something equally arbitrary and sort a bunch of celebrities into the four houses of Hogwarts. Why? Art needs no reason.
First, the criteria. The Hogwarts houses are divided based on traits: Slytherins are cunning, »

The 3rd July 2013 saw the release of Disney's The Lone Ranger, its larger-than-life western starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. Its theatrical debut marked the end of a lengthy and difficult production, stories from which had been hungrily served up by the media - the previous summer was dominated by news stories of its spiralling budget, which was thought to have crossed $250m. Nevertheless, the 2013 blockbuster season should, in theory, have marked a fresh start for Disney, as it spent a reported $150m on marketing The Lone Ranger. But the House of Mouse hadn't counted on the popularity of another film launched on that exact same day in July: Universal's animated sequel, Despicable Me 2.

The Costner comeback continues with news that the Academy Award winner is in negotiations to take the lead role in the sci-fi thriller Criminal – currently being developed by Millennium Films. The film would see the actor as an unpredictable and dangerous character, who finds himself in the unusual predicament of being needed for action on the government side of the law. The knowledge and skills of a deceased CIA operative are implanted into his brain, and the shadowy organization asks him to finish the mission.
Criminal has Ariel Vromen attached to helm the project. Having made his first feature film – Simple Lies – in 2005, his most high profile directorial (and co-writing) effort to date has been 2012’s The Iceman – the true story of a contract killer – starring Michael Shannon, Chris Evans, James Franco, Winona Ryder, Ray Liotta and David Schwimmer.

Which made things really difficult in Google land because earlier this week Schwimmer was involved in solving an actual crime.
Schwimmer -- best known for his starring role as Ross Geller on the 10-year hit NBC show -- invited cops into his New York City townhouse Monday to view his surveillance video of a bloody brawl that took place in the adjacent apartment building, according to Sgt. Tom Antonetti of the NYPD.
The dispute began at 5:48 a.m. on the first floor of an East Village apartment building involving three individuals regarding the theft of a computer, police said.
