Trivia:

Originally directed Exorcist: The Beginning, but his final print was rejected for not being gory enough. He was fired and replaced by Renny Harlin, who re-shot almost 90% of the film. Schrader receives no credit in the final film. However, Morgan Creek Pictures did a limited release of the original version of the movie, Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist in May 20, 2005. The DVD was released in October 25, 2005. See more »
