Mark knew he wanted to be an actor at age nine; he took his career and studies to Europe to fulfill his dream. Once there, he was asked by five major acting schools to join them. He chose the Drama Centre London where he studied for five years. Then, Mark beat out 2,000 others for an important position in the Theatre Communications Group National Finals. This led to a year's tour of the United States in the lead role in "Richard II." This was the beginning of his U.S. career.

Rolston voiced Lex Luthor on the animated series 'Young Justice' (2010-2013), and has appeared in 2 movies with other actors who have played Lex Luthor. Rolston appeared in "Lethal Weapon 2" (1989) with Sherman Howard, who played Luthor on the TV series 'Superboy' (1988-1992), and he appeared in "The Shawshank Redemption" (1994) with Clancy Brown, who has also voiced Luthor in several DC productions.
