The Good Wife Finale Mystery: Who's at Alicia's Door?

4 May 2015 10:30 AM, PDT | E! Online | See recent E! Online news »

Knock knock. Who's there? That's the big question of The Good Wife's season six final, apparently. In the promo for the upcoming finale, CBS teases whoever is at Alicia Florrick's (Julianna Margulies) door will stun viewers. It's a familiar cliffhanger—remember "I'm in" from season four?—but we know there's really no love triangle at play currently. Or is there? Here's what we know from the last couple of episodes and that promo: Alicia wants to start her own firm (again) after Diane (Christine Baranski) told her couldn't return to Florrick, Agos and Lockhart because R.D. (Oliver Platt) would take all his money and head for the door. She asked Finn (Matthew Goode) to join »

NBC Moving Ahead With Blindspot, Heartbreaker And Chicago Med

2 May 2015 9:23 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

As broadcast television heads toward upfront week, NBC has announced the addition of three brand new dramas to its slate. Having commissioned 19 pilots, the network already sent Shades Of Blue, Coach and Telenovela straight to series. These projects have now been joined by series commitments for Heartbreaker, Blindspot and Dick Wolf’s Chicago Med.

Chicago Med promises to take audiences into the daily chaos of Chicago’s busiest hospital – focusing on the doctors working within. It fits into Dick Wolf’s successful Chicago franchise, with characters from Chicago P.D and Chicago Fire planned to pass through the sterile hallways of the hospital. Oliver Platt, S. Epatha Merkerson, Laurie Holden, Nick Gehlfuss, and Yaya Dacosta are among the cast of this show that is written by Matt Olmstead, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. The synopsis clearly sounds like a version of ER made to fit with Wolf’s existing shows, »

Like an exquisite meal sitting on a wobbly restaurant table, this week’s installment of The Good Wife had its delicious moments — marred by the intermittent/aggravating vibe that somebody at the top of the food chain really ought to be paying a little more attention to detail.

I mean, do we honestly believe Chicago drug kingpin Lemond Bishop would leave all his precious secrets on an unguarded computer in his home office? Or that Alicia and Diane would ignore their own gut instincts and professional experience — and put their faith in He Who Could Double as a Sneering, D. »

She’s impatient that Hollywood won’t generate the kind of quality roles she wants to play, so she creates quality roles by creating quality movies. That resourcefulness is what makes her someone I not only admire, but someone who inspires me. And that is influence."  Oliver Platt on Bradley Cooper: “It’s hard to make people, especially your friends, forget who you are on-screen. But Bradley’s that good. And I. »

Tilda Swinton Wrote a Poem for Amy Schumer

16 April 2015 7:34 AM, PDT | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

It's time for the Time "100," when influential, important people write about other influential, important people. There is Elon Musk writing that Kanye would be the “first person to tell you he belongs on this list,” Martha Stewart calling Kim Kardashian and her clan "a totally modern construct,"and Oliver Platt falling in "mad unrequited love" with Bradley Cooper the first time he met him. There are little gems like Björk writing Marina Abramovic an email that said, “I’m so proud to tell you that our baby volcano is just born — it’s so beautiful!” and Chris Rock joking that Top Five should have been called Kevin Hart Presents Chris Rock’s Top Five With Kevin Hart. But the best ones, of course, are the ones that come from the heart, and who better to wax poetic about Amy Schumer than her ultimate stan, Tilda Swinton?
