Big Names On "Twin Peaks" Cast List Of 217

The new "Twin Peaks" isn't slated to debut on Showtime until 2017, but a flurry of speculation about it happened last week with a tweet from Go For Locations indicating that filming had wrapped on the "first two seasons" of the series.

The episode count for the David Lynch-directed series was always in question, but that tweet suggested we'd be getting even more episodes than originally planned. Said tweet has since been deleted, so we'll have to wait to see how that pans out.

in the meantime in more official news, Showtime, Lynch and Mark Frost has released the official cast list for the new series with a whopping 217 names across the various episodes - a list that includes some real surprise big name inclusions such as Monica Bellucci, Michael Cera, Naomi Watts, Tim Roth, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Eddie Vedder, Ashley Judd, Ernie Hudson, Jim Belushi, Richard Chamberlain, Laura Dern,

Jennifer Lopez Brings Her Adorable Twins Max And Emme To "Home" Premiere

  • TooFab
Hollywood's coolest mom!  Jennifer Lopez walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new movie "Home" on Sunday, and brought two very special guests along for the outing.  The actress -- who voices Lucy in the animated flick -- was accompanied by her adorable twins Max and Emme, who posed alongside their famous mama.   Clad in a Zuhair Murad mini-dress, the singer looked sophisticated and demure in the baby-blue frock with lace embroidery.  She finished off her look with gorgeous waves and Christian Louboutin pumps. But her best accessories had to be her 7-year-old twins!   Little Max wore an adorable seer-sucker suit and straw fedora while his sister Emme wore a cute pink dress with ballet flats.  At one point, the cameras became a little too much for her son, who began to cry during all the red carpet commotion. J.Lo knelt down to comfort the youngster and put him at ease.

'Justified' Season 5 premiere: 'A Murder of Crowes' sets sights on Harlan

In discussing the Season 5 premiere of "Justified" before it aired Tuesday night (Jan. 7), I used the words "lived-in" and "familiar" to describe it. Depending on how you read them, those might not be the most flattering terms to describe a TV show in its fifth year.

Parts of "Justified" have always felt familiar, built as it is on the foundation of westerns and cop shows. What really stands out in the premiere, though, is how the show has succeeded in creating a world where Raylan Givens, Boyd Crowder and most everyone else we spend time with is surrounded by their past. Old associations, acquaintances and grudges are next to impossible to shake. There's now an almost physical feeling of the past hanging over them.

It's what's driving Boyd in his new heroin business with Wynn Duffy -- he needs fast money to help get Ava out of prison, only to

‘Justified’ Season 4 Finale Review – They Always Pull

  • Screen Rant
All season long, Justified and its characters have been pondering the future while constantly examining the road they have taken to get there. In ‘Ghosts,’ the season finale, the future is here, and it goes by the rather unlikely name of Sammy Tonin.

If Max Perlich’s diminutive, follicle-challenged Sammy Tonin seems like an unlikely successor to the throne Theo Tonin recently abdicated, that’s because he is. As season 4 progressed, the shadow of Sammy’s father took on an almost mythical quality – he was an invisible boogeyman to some and a vengeful god to others, but all that power couldn’t prevent Raylan Givens from making sure Drew Thompson (a.k.a. Shelby Parlow) lived to ensure Theo’s retirement in Tunisia happened a little earlier than anyone had imagined.

In the end, Sammy’s ascension – highlighted by a brief ...

The One Where I Vote for ‘Lincoln,’ ‘Veep,’ the Glow Girls and Two New Candidates from Scream Factory

Welcome back to This Week In Discs! As always, if you see something you like, click on the image to buy it. Beautiful Girls Willie Conway (Timothy Hutton) has returned home for his high school reunion at a very confused time in his life. His long time girlfriend (Annabeth Gish) joins him on the trip as he visits with friends, strikes up a purely platonic relationship with a 15-year-old neighbor girl (Natalie Portman) and decides if he’s ready to settle down and get married. The late Ted Demme has a few fine films to his name including The Ref and Blow, but this sweet, honest and funny movie remains his high point. Portman’s perfect encapsulation of the untouchable teen is fantastic in every regard, but to be fair her storyline is only a small part of the whole. Willie’s friends (Matt Dillon, Noah Emmerich, Max Perlich, Michael Rapaport, Rosie

Bald Naked ManHunt: Oscar Morning Carnage

  • The Backlot
The harbingers of doom.

Carnage, I tell you. Absolute carnage.

By the time the nominees for the 85th annual Academy Awards were revealed, the overwhelming buzz coming out of nomination morning was not about who was included, but who was left off the list.

Because there were so many names left off.

Usually, you can count on one or two well regarded names missing out on an Oscar nomination. It’s just the way it goes when there are only five nominees in most categories. Some people get left behind. But this year represents a high water mark in the number of heavily favored, big name individuals whose names were not called… the supposed locks that weren’t locked in at all. A whole swath of expectations crashed and burned.

Talk about a bloodbath.

The most jaw-dropping omissions took place within the Director’s category.

The Director’s Guild nominations,

Revisiting Lynch – Part Six: Inland Empire, Unmade Projects and Crazy Clown Time

  • HeyUGuys
In the early part of this century, Lynch spent a lot of time putting together his website David Lynch.com. Embracing the internet and the opportunities his own website afforded him, Lynch would make his own shorts available via this medium as well as the weird sitcom Rabbits and animated series Dumbland. Lynch also branched out into coffee sales as his own brand was launched and available through the website. His next film was an even more polarising and baffling effort than anything he had previously made.

Inland Empire (2006)

Financed completely independently and filmed over a period of two years on new digital HD camera’s Inland Empire was initially a collection of scenes cobbled together from both Lynch’s own website (the Rabbits shorts) and scenes he would film with Laura Dern. Eventually the project started to take on some form of narrative plot and Lynch filmed scenes involving

DVD Review: Knights Templar

Knights Templar

Stars: Paul Sampson, David Carradine, Udo Kier, Norman Reedus, Billy Drago, Max Perlich | Written and Directed by Paul Sampson

Knights Templar (also known as Night of the Templar) is a strange film; in fact it should not work. It’s a simple slasher wrapped around the legend of the Knights Templar, the plot is simple, the kills themselves are not really imaginative and the acting is for the most part is quite poor (probably down to wafer thin character development). The fact is though I actually found it quite enjoyable.

When one of the Knights Templar is double-crossed by the other knights he swears revenge by returning after “ten lifetimes”. Jump about seven hundred years to get to the present day and a group of people are brought together for a fantasy weekend. It’s not too long before each of the group start to die strangely at

Darth Vader Kid To Have Open Heart Surgery — Video

The seven-year-old star who adorably channeled The Force in a Super Bowl commercial will soon undergo his Eighth open-heart surgery. Little Max Page, who famously dressed in Darth Vader's mask and cape for a 2011 Volkswagen Passat ad will be undergoing open heart surgery on June 14. According to a Today show report, the 7-year-old child actor was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect when he was only 3 months-old, his parents said only hours before Max had to check into the hospital. "He's scared and he's nervous" said his father Buck Page. Because of the surgery -- his eighth! -- Max was disappointed about canceling his summer plans. However, his mom Jennifer Page created a "can-do" list of all the things he'd be able to do during his recovery, such as watching movies and playing Nintendo Wii. And it doesn't end there! He'll also be having a themed house to recover from surgery.

Justified Gets FX Motor City Mob Boss

  • Boomtron
A Justified villain is coming to the rural set of Kentucky. The western themed FX series is in its third season now and building up to the finale with a guest star that will not be easily forgettable.

For those unfamiliar with the show, the series star Raylan Givens as played by Timothy Olyphant is described as a a quirky but dedicated U.S. Deputy Marshal who, having committed a justified killing in Florida – he shot a hit man who had drawn a gun on Raylan with the intention of killing him – finds himself re-assigned to a backwater town in Kentucky. Raylan is familiar with the area, having grown-up near by and spent much of his life trying to escape from it. Suffice to say Raylan was not pleased to be transferred there. While adjusting to his new life ghosts from Raylan’s past including former lovers, friends who are now involved in criminal activity,

'Justified': Adam Arkin guest-starring as Theo Tonin

Adam Arkin's trading in his "Justified" director's chair for a spot in front of the camera: According to EW, he's guest-starring in two episodes of the FX show this season as Quarles' boss Theo Tonin.

Arkin has directed five episodes of "Justified," including the Season 1 finale. He'll be appearing in episode 311 and the Season 3 finale.

Executive producer Graham Yost tells EW that viewers will get more back story on Quarles and Theo in episode 310.

"Theo saved his life, but in a weird way," Yost says.

He also adds that Arkin will have a unique look for his "Justified" acting debut.

"I don't want to give it away. There is a physical tweak that Adam asked for," he says. "Adam wanted to be distinctive, so when you see it, it's like, Oh wow, that's pretty wild. He's not dressed as a pirate or anything. But he looks cool."
