Miles Teller & Anna Kendrick in Official Trailer for Comedy 'Get a Job'

5 February 2016 5:20 PM, PST | firstshowing.net | See recent FirstShowing.net news »

"I'm 22 years old and I have no idea what I'm going to do with the rest of my life! And I'm fine with that." CBS Films has debuted the theatrical trailer for the comedy Get a Job, starring Miles Teller and Anna Kendrick as a couple struggling with life after college. Right as one of them might finally have snagged a good job, the other one gets fired, and it makes for good humor and good lessons to be learned. The full cast includes some other big names like Bryan Cranston, Marcia Gay Harden, Alison Brie, Ravi Patel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Jorge Garcia, John C. McGinley and John Cho. Not the best looking comedy out there, but it does have good laughs. I'm always glad to see Anna Kendrick in a lead role, too. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Dylan Kidd's Get a Job, direct from Lionsgate's YouTube: Life »

Get A Job Trailer Has Anna Kendrick And Miles Teller Go For Broke

3 February 2016 10:02 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

Anna Kendrick and Miles Teller star as two down-on-their-luck college graduates struggling to make ends meet in the first Get a Job trailer, which is now finally on the verge of release.

First hatched in 2012, the dramedy appeared to bring together all then necessary ingredients for a sure-fire hit, chiefly former Community star Alison Brie and a Bryan Cranston who was still considered the apex predator of Albuquerque at the time. But then, Get a Job was ordered to the shelf where it’s remained ever since, a fate that even led Kendrick to question whether the film would ever see a release.

Now, out of the blue, CBS Films and Lionsgate Premiere has whipped Dylan Kidd’s picture into shape, premiering the first trailer and poster ahead of a limited theaterical release next month. Also starring Superbad alum Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Marcia Gay Harden, John Cho, John C. McGinley, Nicholas Braun, »

First Trailer for Long-Delayed Comedy ‘Get a Job’ With Miles Teller, Anna Kendrick & More

3 February 2016 9:17 AM, PST | The Film Stage | See recent The Film Stage news »

If you believe everyone looks a bit younger than normal in the first trailer for Get a Job, you are not mistaken. Shot back in 2012, the latest film from Dylan Kidd (Rodger Dodger, P.S.) was going through undisclosed behind-the-scenes struggles that led some of its stars to believe it may never see a release. Well, it looks like Lionsgate Premiere has picked it up and it’ll now be arriving next month.

Starring Miles Teller, Anna Kendrick, Bryan Cranston, Alison Brie, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Marcia Gay Harden, John Cho, John C. McGinley, Nicholas Braun, Brandon T. Jackson, and more, it follows a group of recent graduates attempting to cope with the current (or 2012, rather) job market. The first trailer doesn’t sell a great film, but hopefully there will be something worthwhile here coming from the talented cast and director. Check it out below along with the poster.

Get a Job opens on March 25th. »
