Arnold Schwarzenegger is ready to take the reins. Literally. And the official winner of "Captain America: Civil War" is ... Jenny Slate! The comedian/actress/author, known from "Saturday Night Live," "Obvious Child," "Marcel the Shell With Shoes On," and as the wooooorst sister on "Parks and Recreation," recently split from husband Dean Fleischer-Camp and has moved on with Captain America himself, Chris Evans.
That's the news from "a source" to Us Weekly, anyway, and fans have responded with pleasant surprise (when they're not crying).
The actors, both 34, reportedly connected while filming the upcoming movie "Gifted." They

Over the weekend, the second annual Bentonville Film Festival was held in Bentonville, Arkansas, a festival which was co-founded by actress Geena Davis to celebrate women and other diverse voices in the film industry and media. The festival was capped off on Sunday with a very special event, a softball game that served as a reunion for Geena Davis and five of her co-stars from the 1992 classic A League of Their Own. The cast was also joined by Gina Casey, a former member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, who threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
The Bentonville Film Festival Instagram page has posted photos from the reunion, which feature Geena Davis alongside Megan Cavanagh (Marla Hooch), Ann Cusack (Shirley Baker) Tracy Reiner (Betty Spaghetti), Anne Ramsay (Helen Haley) and Freddie Simpson (Ellen Sue Gotlander). Showing serious staying power, Disney’s “The Jungle Book” is dominating domestic moviegoing this weekend with an estimated $38 million — the eighth-best third weekend of all time.
Open Road’s launch of romantic comedy “Mother’s Day” generated a modest $8 million for a fourth-place finish behind the second weekend of Universal’s “The Huntsman: Winter’s War.” Gramercy’s “Ratchet & Clank” saw limited traction in its fifth-place opening with $5.6 million.
Should Saturday’s estimates hold, all three openers will finish the weekend at the lower end of recent forecasts while “The Jungle Book” remains an impressive draw at multiplexes with a decline of only 38% from its last frame. Stellar reviews and strong word of mouth will have propelled the tale of an orphaned boy and talking »

Open Road’s romantic comedy “Mother’s Day” should gross almost $4 million Friday and finish the weekend around $11 million, with New Line’s Key and Peele action-comedy “Keanu” following closely with a $3.5 million Friday and a $10 million weekend. Gramercy’s “Ratchet & Clank” will earn about $1.8 million on Friday for a $7 million weekend.
Meanwhile, Disney’s “The Jungle Book” will decline by only 40% and finish the weekend with a 17-day domestic total in the $245 million range. If it hits $36 million this weekend, it would be the 10th-highest third weekend haul of all time, replacing “Iron Man 3” at $35.8 million.
The weekend is something of a prelude to what’s widely expected to be a massive domestic opening on May »

Action-comedy “Keanu,” starring Jordan Peele, Keegan-Michael Key and a kitten, has purred to the tune of $560,000 at Thursday night screenings in North America, while “Mother’s Day” barely made a whimper with $225,000.
“Keanu,” which opened the South by Southwest festival last March, is expected to finish the weekend with $10 million to $12 million at 2,658 sites. Disney’s “The Jungle Book” should rule the box office for a third consecutive weekend in the $40 million range, pushing it to an impressive $250 million total in its first 17 days.
Open Road’s romantic comedy “Mother’s Day,” starring Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts and Jason Sudeikis, could challenge “Keanu” for second place. Directed by Garry Marshall, the film includes a large ensemble with Timothy Olyphant, Margo Martindale, Shay Mitchell, Britt Robertson, Héctor Elizondo, Jack Whitehall and Jon Lovitz.
Reviews for “Mother’s Day,” which opens at 3,035 sites, have been negative with a 7% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. »

Sappiness overflows in Mother’S Day, an assembly-line rom-com with little on its mind beyond clichés and predictable formula. 81-year old director Garry Marshall, still mining the calendar after the similar New Year’S Eve and Valentine’S Day, has gathered a bouquet of celebrity movie stars including Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Sudeikis, and Kate Hudson, and shuffled them into tiresome skits about motherhood gone right and wrong. Mother’S Day is a shallow and sickly-sweet offering best avoided.
Jennifer Aniston has the largest role in Mother’S Day as Sandy, a divorced mother of two sons whose ex-husband Henry (Timothy OIyphant) has married the much younger Tina (Shay Mitchell), who tries too hard to be a cool stepmom. The story jumps between Sandy’s dilemma and those of a dozen others, such as childless Miranda (Julia Roberts), an uptight QVC superstar who has motherhood forced on her by »

The pair opened the show with an outrageous Mad Max: Fury Road homage, entering the Warner Bros. backlot on an outsized battle rig and surrounded by a horde of War Boys. Topping it all off, Hart was strapped to the front — à la Max Rockatansky, but with far more screaming — while Johnson stood atop the rig rocking a flame-thrower guitar. »
In the midst of March Madness and with the Kentucky Derby around the corner, the first pitch of baseball season is almost here.
A quote from Field Of Dreams best describes America’s national pastime, “The one constant throughout the years has been baseball.”
To mark the start of the 2016 season, here’s our list of the Best Baseball movies.
Considered by some to be the best baseball movie ever, the film celebrates its 40th anniversary this month (April 7, 1976). In an article from the NY Daily News, one line reads, “It is a movie that someone like the late Philip Seymour Hoffman called his favorite, and one which resonates on many levels today, with all different generations.”

It’s almost time for another holiday centric comedy from director Garry Marshall. However, this time the cast of Mother’s Day doesn’t seem quite as packed to the gills with celebrities as its predecessors Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve. Instead, it’s Jennifer Aniston, Julia Roberts, Kate Hudson, Britt Robertson, Sarah Chalke, Shay Mitchell, Jon Lovitz, Aasif Mandvi, Timothy […]
