It only took Courtney Love eight hours to trash her high-end hotel room at The Inn on Irving Place.
While the rocker was visiting New York on June 17 with her 16-year-old daughter, Frances Bean, sources say Love completely ruined her accommodations.
The hard-partying 44-year-old widow of Kurt Cobain left dirty needles and used feminine hygiene products behind, according to sources, and also flooded the floor.
"She caused so much damage in eight hours and wreaked so much havoc. It was actually kind of funny . . . minus the $5,000 in repairs," one insider told us.

If Taylor Momsen's band, the Pretty Reckless, somehow found themselves playing one of Jenny Humphrey's school dances on "Gossip Girl," does Momsen think that her fictional alter-ego would be into her music?
"I think she'd like it," Momsen told MTV News. "Her dad's a rocker. We're trying to bring rock back with the Pretty Reckless here, so I think she'd like it. She put the Ramones in her fashion, so [yes]."
It's fairly obvious that Momsen loves to show her rock side. Whether she's name-checking Nirvana, Joan Jett and Hole or hitting a red carpet in leather, bleached-blond hair and red lipstick, it's clear that Momsen and the Pretty Reckless aren't softies. "In everything I do, I'm influenced by music. Music feeds my soul," she said. "As far as style,

If reports are to be believed, Michael Jackson may have as many as 100 unreleased songs that he left behind. Though it may be quite some time before any songs ever get out, it’s certain that fans will be clamoring for songs they’ve never heard.
But if pop history has taught us anything, it’s that posthumous music releases can be a bit of a nightmare both for the people in control of the estate and the fans craving new music. In fact, sometimes that music actually hurts the legacy of the artist.
When Jimi Hendrix died in 1970, he left behind at least one incomplete album and many more unfinished tracks, demos and outtakes. But for decades, the previously unreleased songs were released haphazardly and were underproduced. It wasn’t until Hendrix’s sister managed to gain control of his catalog that the recordings were considered reasonable enough for commercial release.

If you were wondering why you haven't heard or seen much of Courtney Love lately, maybe it's because she's been busy evaporating. Love was photographed in New York earlier this week looking shockingly gaunt. Like, so gaunt, she makes Lindsay Lohan look healthy. Whoa.Love was spotted in a NYC bank on Monday looking so deathly thin that onlookers stared at her in shock. Love was dressed in skin-tight grey pants and a grey tunic, neither of which did much to help her appearance. According to London's Daily Mail, Courtney Love first began dieting back in 2006 in order to lose the weight that she put on when she kicked her drug habit. Love was ...

It's looking very likely that David Fincher will be joining a social network soon. Make that The Social Network, a movie based on a script written by The West Wing's Aaron Sorkin about Facebook.
Just like in those good old dot com days, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg hatched the site in his dorm room in 2004, which now boasts over 200 million users. The Social Network will follow the site from its, uh, humble Harvard beginnings to marketing buzzword. By the way, Zuckerberg's net worth is $1.5 billion, according to Forbes' list of the world's billionaires in 2008.
IMDb lists the project as on track for 2011, and Variety says the team is hoping "to begin production later this year."
The real questions are whether or not the project will tackle some of the issues looming over Facebook, such as your right to privacy and who owns the information you upload to Facebook, and

Courtney Love will release her new album under her former band name, Hole. It's been a long time coming and Love has been working on "Nobody's Daughter" since 2006, but she tells NME that the album may come out by year's end. The current edition of "Nobody's Daughter" looks to be a collection of songs from all the different incarnations the project has been through starting with producer/writer Linda Perry (which we though was a brilliant pairing). Then, NME reminds us, after that dissolved, Love went to London to record with a band. The one remaining holdover from that effort is...

Wonders never cease... At an early age, I got used to the strange looks from my friends when I listed the actors and stars I was most attracted to -- especially once I saw Dead Zone and became enamored with Christopher Walken. From then on, I steered clear of discussions about hot stars, or prepared for the horror-filled recoil if I did pipe in. It's gotten better over the years, but was never fully defeated until now.
I'm not sure how it's happened, but Nerve compiled a list of the "twenty sexiest ugly people alive" -- those people with unusual features who still have oodles of lusty charisma -- and none of my faves are on there. No Walken, Eric Roberts, Gary Oldman, Elias Koteas... I must be losing my touch. Instead, their picks in the movie world include Danny McBride, Danny Trejo, Tilda Swinton, John C. Reilly, Steve Buscemi,

Courtney Love trashed a hotel room with pink dye then left without paying. The former Hole singer - who is preparing to launch her own clothes line - reportedly fled from Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont hotel after staining her luxurious suite with fabric dye. A source told Life and Style magazine: "At the last minute, she decided she had to dye a load of fabric for her new fashion line before flying to London for the Elle Style Awards. She splashed pink dye everywhere - all over the kitchen and the floors! Once she realised what a mess she'd made, she called hotel staff to clean up after her. They took one look at it and returned with two
