Pushing Daisies: Anna Friel Would Still Like to Revive the Cancelled Series

1 April 2016 4:21 PM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

ABC cancelled the Pushing Daisies TV series after two seasons totaling 22 episodes. Even Ned's (Lee Pace) magic touch couldn't bring it back to life (or perhaps -- he touched it twice). Co-star Anna Friel, who played Ned's untouchable love interest, Charlotte 'Chuck' Charles, would jump at the chance to revive this cancelled-too-soon show, at least as a movie. For the love of apple pie, someone get Netflix on the phone!

Per Friel, the Pushing Daisies cast, which also included Chi McBride, Ellen Greene, Swoosie Kurtz, Kristin Chenoweth, and Jim Dale (as narrator), loved doing the series.

Reader's Choice: Cruel Intentions (1999)

23 March 2016 6:40 PM, PDT | FilmExperience | See recent FilmExperience news »

Wednesday nights are now devoted to you. We'll alternate between a Q&A and a Reader's Choice Movie. So you are essentially picking the topics each week. We started with Gattaca but y'all kept asking for Cruel Intentions so here we are again.

Believe it or not, I've never seen Cruel Intentions (1999) so I gladly accept the multiple requests to discuss. This is written and directed by someone named Roger Kumble and the name did not ring a bell. It turns out he's still working, mostly on television and he's working on a TV sequel to this very movie. I missed this news somehow but Sarah Michelle Gellar is reprising her role so this post is more timely than I meant it to be.

The credits also inform us that it's only "suggested by" Dangerous Liaisons.  That's a fancy word for adapted if you want to compete in Original Screenplay at the Oscars. »

10 Questions We Hope the Cruel Intentions TV Spin-Off Answers

2 March 2016 8:45 AM, PST | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Last week, fans of Sarah Michelle Gellar delighted at the news that she'd be reprising one of her most popular characters on a new TV series. Realistically speaking, that news was probably followed immediately by the clarification, "No, not Buffy and no, not Kendall Hart, but one of the others ones," but it's still reason to be excited. Cruel Intentions stood out from the rest during the late '90s teen movie boom. It was nasty, it was sexy and it was fun - and as manipulative bad girl Kathryn Mertuil, it let Gellar flex some acting muscles she didn't get to use on Buffy. »

Mike & Molly: Season Six Ratings

14 January 2016 12:22 PM, PST | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

Fans don't have to worry about Mike & Molly being cancelled this time around because it's already been announced that there won't be a seventh season. Will the ratings for the final 13 episodes be high enough for the CBS execs to regret their decision to cancel the show or, will the numbers confirm they made the right choice? Stay tuned.

Mike & Molly revolves around Molly (Melissa McCarthy) and Mike (Billy Gardell), a couple that met at an Overeaters Anonymous meeting, fell in love, and later married. The rest of the cast includes Reno Wilson, Katy Mixon, Nyambi Nyambi, Rondi Reed, Cleo King, Louis Mustillo, David Anthony Higgins, and Swoosie Kurtz.

The higher a show's ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better its chances for survival. New ratings data will be added as it becomes available -- typically around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to »
