The Tribeca Film Festival brought out some big names this weekend, starting with Kristen Wiig on Saturday when she celebrated Revenge for Jolly. On Sunday Michelle Williams joined Sarah Silverman and friends at an event for the festival. Michelle also stepped out for boyfriend Jason Segel's Five Year Engagement premiere which kicked off Tribeca, though she was careful not to be photographed at the event. James Franco celebrated his own latest project Francophrenia while Olivia Wilde tended to the Help Wanted shorts program. Among the other celebrity attendees, Abbie Cornish was at The Girl screening. Production is expected to begin this summer for the sequel to the 2005 film Sin City, with co-directors Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez set to reunite to bring us Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For.
The second of Miller’s Sin City yarns it is assumed that A Dame to Kill will take its stories and characters from the whole of Basin City like the first and many of the actors from the first film are expected to return.
The heavily stylised 2005 film is remembered for the return of Mickey Rourke as Marv and still plays pretty well today, far better than Miller’s own adaptation of The Spirit which was released on 2008.
Rodriguez has anotehr sequel in the works currently with Machete Kills (for which the report suggests that Mel Gibson and Michelle Williams are being approached to star).in pre-production and the trio of sequels is »

Award-winning star of The Artist will play opposite Vincent Cassel in new version of Claude Berri's 1977 romantic comedy
Newly garlanded Golden Globe winner Jean Dujardin will star opposite another member of French film royalty, Vincent Cassel, in a remake of Claude Berri's 1977 romantic comedy One Wild Moment (Un Moment d'Égarement), according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Dujardin carried off the prize for best actor in a comedy or musical at Sunday's Golden Globes ceremony for his turn in Michel Hazanavicius's The Artist. Thomas Langmann, the producer of that Oscar-tipped paean to Hollywood's golden era, revealed the casting news at the Bafta team event on Saturday.
