Will Liza’s big secret finally unravel in Younger‘s third season?

Probably not, but hey, that’s fine by us. (Can you imagine watching a show about Sutton Foster telling everybody the truth? No thanks.)

'Twin Peaks' cast list: 11 major omissions, from Lara Flynn Boyle to Heather Graham

25 April 2016 4:24 PM, PDT | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

What a way to start off the week! The formidable cast list for Showtime's forthcoming Twin Peaks revival series was revealed this morning, and man, is it a doozy. In addition to boasting such key returning players as Kyle MacLachlan (Dale Cooper), Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer/Maddy Ferguson) and Sherilyn Fenn (Audrey Horne), there are a number of surprising A-listers in the mix including Michael Cera, Trent Reznor, Amanda Seyfried and Naomi Watts. On the downside, a not-insignificant number of cast members from both the original series and the 1992 prequel film Fire Walk with Me are completely absent from the list. Where, for instance, is Lara Flynn Boyle (or Moira Kelly, for that matter)? Michael Ontkean? Piper Laurie? Joan Chen? Anyone from the mill? (Literally, there is no one from the mill.) So while I'm thankful that most of the major players are back in action, I can't help but »

Christina Aguilera and Patti Labelle clasped hands and squealed with glee on Monday’s episode of The Voice, and I don’t want to live in a world where there’s not an Emmy category to reward such a next-level historical event.

Here's the Haunting Cover From Game of Thrones' Season 6 Trailer

10 March 2016 11:20 AM, PST | POPSUGAR | See recent BuzzSugar news »

The new Game of Thrones trailer has effectively blown all of our minds, but the song choice may have left your scratching you head. As footage of short-haired Cersei and dead Jon Snow flash on screen, a slow cover of Chris Isaak's 1990 hit single "Wicked Game" plays. It's a strange choice, but I couldn't help but wonder who sings it. Turns out that it's Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow, who covered the song in 2011. Here's the video, for your listening pleasure. Case closed. Related Stories: You're Going to Want to Watch the New Game of Thrones Trailer 10 Times in a Row Surprise! Game Of Thrones season 6: first trailer breakdown

See what's become of Dany, Tyrion, Arya, Cersei, Jon Snow and the rest of them in the new Game Of Thrones season 6 trailer...

Soundtrack-wise, this new Game Of Thrones season 6 trailer has gone full John Lewis ad by using a doleful cover of an eighties classic. Don’t be surprised if you have to suppress the need to rush out and buy an Orla Kiely oven mitt the second you finish watching.

James Vincent McMorrow’s cover of Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game accompanies our first trip back to Westeros since the Crows pierced Jon Snow like a microwavable curry and left him out for, well, the crows. That’s where the trailer picks up, with an overhead shot of Castle Black and the latest Commander of the Night’s Watch supine in the snow.

'Game of Thrones': 10 Key Takeaways From the Season Six Trailer

8 March 2016 1:44 PM, PST | The Hollywood Reporter - Movie News | See recent The Hollywood Reporter - Movie News news »

"Nobody loves no one," sings James Vincent McMorrow, as his cover of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game" washes over the world of ice and fire at the heart of Game of Thrones. The mournful tune is appropriate for the tone of HBO's first full trailer for season six of Thrones, but that one lyric falls far from the mark, at least as far as it applies to fans, who have a litany of reasons to feel loved today — because after endless months of questions without answers, Game of Thrones fans now have mouthful upon mouthful of information to chew

The Full 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Trailer Is Finally Here

8 March 2016 1:35 PM, PST | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

After months of teasers, sneak peek photos, and lots of contradictory interviews from cast members, the first full trailer for season six of "Game of Thrones" is finally here, and boy, are there a lot of goodies for fans to savor.

The moody clip (expertly soundtracked by James Vincent McMorrow's sparse cover of Chris Isaak tune "Wicked Game") is packed with eye-popping visuals and throat-catching theatrics, including some harrowing speeches promising plenty of drama for the residents of Westeros in the season ahead.

"Everything they've taken from us, we're going to take back, and more," Jamie, returned from Dorne, promises Cersei as they plot their revenge. Later, Cersei pledges to "choose violence" going forward.

"You're in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying," Tyrion warns an unseen foe.

That terror extends to just about every character in the show, who all get brief cameos during the trailer. »

'Game of Thrones' Unveils Ominous, Gripping Season 6 Trailer

8 March 2016 12:58 PM, PST | | See recent Rolling Stone news »

Game of Thrones has released its first official Season Six trailer, which offers an understated opening that reintroduces the key players and closes with a characteristically brutal montage.

Set to a somber, acoustic rendition of Chris Isaak's "Wicked Game," performed by James Vincent McMorrow, the clip's first half finds the various warring factions of Westeros taking stock of their lives: Jaime and Cersei Lannister plot their revenge, Daenerys Targaryen finds herself reunited with the Dothraki and Tyrion Lannister warns, "You're in the great game now ... and the great game is terrifying. »

‘Game of Thrones’: New Trailer Arrives for Season 6

8 March 2016 12:36 PM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

HBO has released the first full-length trailer for “Game of Thrones” season 6.

Set to an acoustic version of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game,” the new footage teases the return (and demise) of some of the show’s leading characters, including Jon Snow.

“You’re in the great game now, and the great game is terrifying,” warns Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).

HBO recently decided not to issue media screeners of “Game of Thrones”  to avoid leaked copies online.  The Emmy-winning series, based on the George R. R. Martin novels, was the most-pirated TV show of 2015 with an estimated 14.4 million illegal downloads.

The sixth season of “Game of Thrones” premieres April 24.

20 years ago today: Julia Roberts, Jcvd, and many more guest-starred on ‘Friends’

28 January 2016 6:00 AM, PST | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

20 years ago today, NBC aired “The One After the Superbowl,” the mega-episode of “Friends” packed with famous guest stars. The two-part episode had a massive lead-in from the Cowboys vs. Steelers game, even more than usual for post-Super Bowl programming — that game broke the record for most-watched sporting event ever on American television. The star-studded lineup of visitors to “Friends” was: Julia Roberts, Brooke Shields, Chris Isaak, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Fred Willard, and Dan Castellaneta. Roberts played Susie, Chandler’s elementary school classmate. Chandler eagerly agrees to go on a date with her, only to find out that the date was part of Susie’s plot for revenge to get back at Chandler for a prank he played on her in the 4th grade. “That was in the 4th grade! How could you still be upset about that?” Chandler exclaimed upon realizing what this was all about — as he stood »
