Spooky Soiree! Inside Michelle Stafford’s Halloween-Themed Bash for Son Jameson’s First Birthday
It’s a monster bash!

On Sunday, two-time Emmy-winning soap star Michelle Stafford threw her 1-year-old son Jameson Jones Lee the party of a lifetime to mark his first birthday. The theme? Halloween, of course.

The family of three, which includes Stafford’s 6½-year-old daughter Natalia Scout Lee, really got into the spirit by dressing as a vampire family, complete with fangs and gothic costumes that would make The Munsters jealous.

“It was an amazing party. We had to celebrate Jameson in style!” the General Hospital actress, 51, tells People exclusively of her son’s big day, which was held at her Los Angeles home.

Daytime Emmy Winners: Complete List

Daytime Emmy Winners: Complete List
Just as they are preparing to split up, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan on Sunday won their second consecutive Daytime Emmy Award for entertainment talk show hosts for their syndicated chat show “Live with Kelly and Michael.”

Meanwhile, CBS’ “The Talk” won its first Daytime Emmy for entertainment talk show.

The Daytime Emmy win capped a roller coaster two weeks for Ripa and Strahan after the news broke that Strahan would be moving on to “Good Morning America” full-time in the fall. Ripa protested the decision to keep her in the dark until the last minute by sitting out three episodes of “Live” during the week of April 18.

Ripa previously won Daytime Emmys for entertainment talk show host in 2011 and 2012 during her run on “Live” with previous co-host Regis Philbin. The Daytime Emmy Awards were held Sunday night in Los Angeles but the ceremony was not carried on TV. For

‘Young & Restless’ Leads Daytime Emmy Noms But Ceremony Won’t Be on TV
CBS’ “Young and the Restless” and ABC’s “General Hospital” lead the list of nominees for this year’s Daytime Emmy Awards, which will not be airing on TV for the second time in the past three years.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has nixed plans for a telecast of the ceremony because of the cost. Last year NATAS set a two-year deal with Pop, the CBS and Lionsgate-owned cabler, for telecast of the show after a debacle in 2014 when the ceremony aired as a live webcast.

But NATAS decided that the six-figure cost of producing the ceremony for TV was too high even with the license fee offered by Pop. The New York-based academy is believed to be in discussions for another webcast partner.

Low ratings have taken a toll on the Daytime Emmy Awards’ fortunes. The ceremony bounced around from CBS to ABC to CW to

Golden Globes 2016: The Ultimate Party Guide

While this awards season’s front-runners are less concrete, the week-long roster of ritualistic parties leading up to the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday will follow a tried-and-true formula — with a few exceptions.

Audi and W Magazine will join revelry forces, rather than throwing rival cocktail bashes on Thursday; Art for Amnesty joins the party with a first-time brunch fostering free speech on Friday; Showtime will be celebrating solo, rather than teaming up with partners CBS and the CW; and Amazon — which landed its first Golden Globe last year, and has both winner “Transparent” and newcomer “Mozart in the Jungle” in the running this year — will throw an inaugural post-Globes celebration (having gained some practice, with its first-time Emmy bash last fall). The move seems fitting, in a year when digital (namely, Netflix) surpasses networks with the most nominations, breaking HBO’s 14-year streak of domination and leading the TV race.
