Each year during the month of November, men grow mustaches to help raise cancer-fighting funds for the Livestrong and Prostate Cancer Foundations. It's a month-long effort to change the face of men's health called Movember. As the sound of 'staches sprouting worldwide sends a manly signal across the globe, one begins to compulsively contemplate the many amazing mustaches men have sported in movies throughout the years.
Let's begin with a look at a popular film profession well known for its prowess in the proud mustache tradition: Police officers!
Roger Murtaugh was a solid cop for years, but when he began his 50th birthday by shaving his beard into a mustache, he went from being a good cop getting the job done to an exceptional lawman taking down drug cartels and Asian mob operations. Murtaugh's 'stache was "too »

Hot off the heels of disappointing/predictable/weird Bound For Glory, we are back in Florida for Impact Wrestling this week. First we get a video to remind us that Hogan turned face and joined Sting, then in the arena Sting himself is on the way to the ring. Sting is happy that he got the company back to Dixie, and that he got the real Hulk Hogan back. The explanation for turning face should be a good one, right? Sting brings out Hogan and he’s all smiles and in classic red and yellow. Hogan says for the last year he’s been wrong. That was a very sudden realisation. Hogan explains that he had a few bad years, lost a bit of confidence and became a follower of Bischoff rather than a leader. There’s only one person to thank he says. And its Sting. »

Tna Bound For Glory 2011
October 16th, Live from Philadelphia
Obligatory shot of the Liberty Bell and of course Rocky before we move into the Bound For Glory hype video. Then we are listening to Stain’d (for the first time since 2001 if you’re anything like me) as we go Live into the arena. You’d think for their biggest show of the year they’d have some pyro.
X Division Title
Lockup, the crowd strongly behind Austin Aries for some reason. We are in Philly tonight, the crowd could be interesting. Kendrick hip toss and a side head lock take over or three. Austin gets out of each one with an easy head scissors. Kendrick dropkicks him outside, where Aries decides he needs a time out. Of course Kendrick cant resist a vaulting cross body block. I can understand them cheering who they want. »

The former WWE Champion endorsed Obama in the 2008 presidential election, but has now revealed that he's been disappointed by the leader's first term. "I was a big Obama supporter and kinda, like, believed everything he said he was gonna do. But now that nothing's happened [I've lost faith]," Hogan told Fox and Friends. It’s the go home show before Bound For Glory which means its their last time to sell the show! And in an interview this week Hulk Hogan completely buried Robert Roode as a credible main eventer by saying he doesn’t think hes the guy, and that Angle should “Carry” him to a good match nonetheless. Way to bury your own main event Hulk.
Speaking of the main event, Kurt Angle, the defending champion is first out tonight and calls out his challenger Robert Roode right away. “Next World Champ” chant. Kurt says he booked the matches the past few weeks to try and break him down. Angle congratulates him for winning them, but reminds him he’s the greatest wrestler ever and he’ll prove it at Bfg. Then he extends a hand. Roode decides not to shake though and takes a mic. Roode »

During an appearance on "Fox & Friends" the Hulkster says, "I was a big Obama supporter and kinda, like, believed everything he said he was gonna do. But now that nothing's happened..."
Hogan also said he was steamed that Obama used his wrestling entrance song "Real American" at the 2011 White House Correspondents' Dinner without asking. Obama did this shortly after releasing his long-form birth certificate.
"I kinda was a little upset that he didn't ask me permission to use my music," Hogan says.
When asked who he would suggest people vote for, the Hulkster says, "I think I should be president. I know nothing about politics. I think a flat tax across the board would straighten everything out. »

Wrestling great Hulk Hogan appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show Wednesday and set the record straight about his ex-wife's gay accusation, saying, "If I was gay, don't you think she would've said something about it in the divorce three or four years ago? I mean, why now when the book's [already] come out?"

Impact Wrestling (6th October 2011)
We kick off with a Hulk Hogan video package because he claims that his run is finally over and tonight we allegedly have his retirement ceremony coming up. Imagine ending a long term career like that in Tna. He’s got to be depressed. Not that I’ll ever believe he’s finished for good. Hogan and Bischoff arrive in the parking lot.
Beer Money are on their way out together, despite having to face each other tonight. Storm says its about damn time Hulk Hogan took a back seat and gave the young guys a chance to entertain the fans. Agreed. Storm tells Hogan to have fun trying to follow their match tonight because they plan on tearing this son of a bitch down in Knoxville Tennessee. Roode takes the mic and plugs James as the Tennessee cowboy and welcomes him home. Roode says Fortune »

Who’S It For? The most appealing aspect of Sadermania is its Chicago pride. It’s about a Chicago guy, and it’s made by Chicago filmmakers (who studied at Flashpoint, if I’m not mistaken). Such pride will help viewers get through Sadermania. Anyone who has ever been a huge fan »

As Anchor Bay UK releases Born To Fight onto DVD and Blu-ray this week (October 3rd) starring the one and only “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, we thought we would have to look to see who the Top 5 Wrestlers turned actors are, past and present…
Our winner has to be “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. Stone Cold has fought onto our screens many times over the years. Being the only action hero on this list even to be nominated for a Teen Choice. We have seen Stone Cold kick butt from The Longest Yard right through to Hunt To Kill, The Stranger and now Stone Cold’s newest movie; Born To Fight, and with yet more films from Austin coming in the very near future we think he’s the biggest wrestler-turned-action hero going.
2) Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Former pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan has slashed the asking price on his exclusive Florida mansion by a staggering $16 m. The stunning waterfront estate was listed for a reported $25 m in 2006 – but it is now being advertised for a rather more modest $8.87 m. According to Us entertainment website TMZ.com, it's the third time that Hogan has dropped the price. And it seems he's not above using his celebrity status to help unload the 17,000 sq. ft. Mediterranean-style mansion, which has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, and sits on the scenic Gulf of Mexico, in Clearwater. According to property website Realtor.com, the “exquisite residence” is “located on an exclusive tree-lined street in the residential Town of Belleair" and has featured in the 58-year-old star’s reality show Hogan Knows Best. The two-story home, which was built in 1996, features a gym and spa, five-car garage and a pool with a two-tier waterfall. © Splash »
Wrestler Hulk Hogan is fighting his way back from the brink of bankruptcy after losing "hundreds of millions" of dollars.
The fighter has been struggling with financial problems for some time after maintaining a lavish lifestyle with his now ex-wife Linda Bollea and their two children, Brooke and Nick, for years.
In a pre-taped interview on U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America, which aired on Thursday, he said, "(I lost) hundreds of millions. There were houses being bought, cars being bought, vacations for family members... There were eight, nine, 10, 11 of them moving into our house."
He has since offloaded the excess material goods and is now living a more modest life with his new wife Jennifer McDaniel, who he wed in December.
Hogan is slowly recovering from his money troubles with new projects such as his latest reality TV show, Hulk Hogan's Micro Championship Wrestling, and he claims his personal difficulties have shown him that money can't buy happiness.
He adds, "They (financial troubles) are getting better. I'm living in a rental house. I'm not living in abundance. But I'm happy now. (Money) helps get through the day, it helps make things easier, but it is nothing to do with being happy."
Hogan and his first wife Linda split in 2007 and settled their messy divorce in 2009 after more than 20 years of marriage. »
The real estate market has Hulk Hogan in a serious chokehold -- because the Florida mansion he once listed for $25 Million ... has now been reduced all the way to $8.87 million. Hulk has been trying to unload the mansion -- famously featured in " Hogan Knows Best " -- since 2006. He's dropped the asking price twice before ... but now, he's finally Under double digits. As for the 17,145 square foot estate -- it boasts 5 bedrooms, 9.5 baths, a boathouse, a pool with a two-tier waterfall, »

Last week, my fellow Den of Geek columnist James Clayton made a remark about Tom Hardy’s outrageous fitness regime, which saw the actor gain 30 pounds of muscle. If you follow me or James on Twitter, you’ll be aware that we have something of a fierce rivalry. In an effort to outdo James as columnist, but without having to resort to actually trying to be a better writer, I decided that I would follow the Tom Hardy Warrior fitness regime.
I find nothing drives me through a work out like trying to aggressively make a point to someone on the Internet. I read some of the comments on articles from this site and I imagine that many of you must be incredibly well-muscled.

River of Darkness? More like River of Caca!
A low-rent version of pretty much whatever supernatural revenge movie you can think of. Actually, low-rent is a compliment that this movie doesn’t even deserve. The dogs left the room while I was watching this movie. I’m trying to warn you.
What is it about? I’ll try to tell you, because it was touch and go for a little while. First, there’s a girl alone in the snow, talking about how she had to leave college even though she didn’t kill anybody.
Next, grisly murders begin in the sleepy little fishing town of Cedar Springs, and the sheriff is looking for answers. In the midst of all this, we learn that the locals have no respect for the law, seeing as how he was elected over another wrestler. »
