Will Ferrell has given us so many amazing movie quotes over the years, but it's important to look back and remember the SNL spin-off flick where it all started. A Night at the Roxbury was one of his first starring roles, as he and Chris Kattan play privileged heirs to a fake plant empire by day and Richard Grieco-praising club rats by night. Let's just say that Haddaway's "What Is Love" has never been the same. Look over our favorite quotes and let us know what your favorites are! This week:
Bruce Willis Retaliates; Richard Grieco talks 21 Jump Street 2; Michael Kenneth Williams is Odb in Dirty White Boy and Melissa Leo enters Oblivion with Tom Cruise.
1. G.I. Joe: Retaliation opens on 29th June and the marketing for the film is beginning to kick into high gear. A new still of Bruce Willis’ Joe Colton has been released and the Die Hard star appears like he’s never appeared before– bald and with a gun.
Does anybody else remember when Willis said “I got sick of running down the street with a gun in my hand”?

Long ago on syndicated television we were introduced to the likes of Johnny Depp, Holly Robinson and Richard Grieco. Yes, Richard Grieco. The setting was an abandoned church in the city, and the show was called 21 Jump Street.
Now some 20 years later a movie has been created based of the popular TV show that ran from 1987-1991 and even spawned a spin off called Booker that followed Richard Grieco’s character. Yes, Richard Grieco. Now, normally we here at Dtb cover horror, sci-fi, thrillers, and sometimes action films; not usually comedy. It took me a while to think if this was the right thing to do for our website but the more I thought about it after the screening, I thought: what the hell. So here is your Destroy the Brain review of 21 Jump Street.
First off, there is one word to describe the film starring Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, »

If looks could kill. (It's Friday, y'all; hackery welcome!) While Richard Grieco does not make a cameo appearance in this weekend's reboot of "21 Jump Street," the actor was on hand at the Los Angeles premiere of the new film earlier this week.
Grieco, who co-starred on the seminal Fox series as Dennis Booker for 18 episodes between 1988 and 1989, said the new comic take on "21 Jump Street" was surprising.
"I didn't know what to expect," he told ABCNews.com. "They made it into a real funny comedy. There were two ways to go with it, either make it really dark or go overboard and make it funny, and that's what they did. I think they pulled it off in that respect."
Starring Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Dave Franco and Ice Cube, "21 Jump Street" is out in theaters now. Check out Grieco hamming it up at the Los Angeles premiere below.

Back in 1987, you could watch "21 Jump Street," with newcomer Johnny Depp, on your local over-the-air Fox affiliate for free. Today, there is a movie in theaters called "21 Jump Street," this time with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in starring roles, and you'll have to spend money to enjoy it. As a service to you and your wallet, we answer every question that you could possibly have about the cinematic version of 21 Jump Street. Q: Is 21 Jump Street anything like the Fox television show? A: 21 Jump Street has very little to do with the television show. Though, technically, it can be considered a continuation of that series because the film takes place in the current day and the characters from the original show are not rebooted. No matter what skeptical or incredulous thoughts you might have had when you heard the news that Sony had a) decided to adapt '80s cult classic "21 Jump Street" into a full-length feature and b) that Jonah Hill would be writing it, I can assure you that all parties involved have pulled off something that is as action-packed as it is hilarious, full of surprises and totally worth your time and money.
Here are five reasons to go see "21 Jump Street" as soon as possible.
The Nostalgia Factor
"Jump Street" is based on a cult classic TV show that ran for five seasons from 1987 to 1991 and was particularly memorable and awesome for those of us coming of age in the late '80s. It followed a group of undercover cops who posed as high school and college students and featured an attractive group of young actors led by Johnny Depp, »

Of all the 80s television shows, I was never convinced 21 Jump Street was ripe for revisiting. It was one of those mildly edgy things that the fledgling Fox would throw on between episodes of The Simpsons. There were a bunch of cops young enough in the eyes of a TV-watching public to be able to infiltrate local high schools in order to route out mischief. It made celebrities at the time out of the likes of Peter DeLuise and Richard Grieco, but surely history will judge it as little more than a stepping stone for one John Christopher Depp II.The 21 Jump Street film has refreshingly little expectations for audience involvement with the original property. As opposed to the somber Miami Vice which tried »

Thn were fortunate enough to put some questions to 21 Jump Street co-writers and directors, Chris Miller and Phil Lord. The duo seem to thrive on creating challenges for themselves; not only were they making their first foray into live-action filmmaking (after cutting their teeth with the animated comedy Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs), they decided ‘that’ first attempt, would be an update of an American teen-cop show that ran between 1987-1991.
21 Jump Street may not be as iconic as The A-team or Mission: Impossible, which have also made the transition to the big-screen, but it did feature a young Johnny Depp, swaggering and giving moody looks throughout. It also starred the equally-lusted after (at the time) heartthrob Richard Grieco (who left the show early to star in the likes of Teen Agent and Mobsters), before eventually seeing his career flounder, while Depp’s flourished.

Move over, Cher and get ready to share the spotlight, Madonna. There's a new mononymous diva in Hollywood: Kathy. "We don't need the Griffin anymore, honey," Kathy said. "It's 2012 -- they know it's me."
Yep, Kathy Griffin is moving on up since "My Life on the D-List," the Bravo reality show that earned her two Emmys and a couple of notches on the Hollywood totem pole. After six seasons of "D-List" and 13 Bravo stand-up specials to date (with two more on the way this year, she said, "like a damn fool"), now she's got a new pop culture talk show to solidify her spot on the B+/A- list.

In the upcoming big screen version of "21 Jump Street," Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill sub for TV stars Johnny Depp and Richard Grieco as twenty-something cops who go undercover as high schoolers in order to bust a drug ring (as seen in the featurette above). The following clips give you a good idea of the buzzed-about film's zany humor. So far, all the promotional material has been pretty dang funny, and early word-of-mouth has seemingly been nothing but positive. It could end up being one of the bigger surprises at the multiplex this year, which will help recent Oscar nominee »

Sadly, the world cannot call him “Oscar-winner Jonah Hill,” (although trailers featuring him for years to come can list him as “Academy Award Nominee;” just picture it), but hot off his nominated turn in Moneyball, he’s got 21 Jump Street on the way… and a sequel is already in the scripting phase. [E! Online]
The advance word is remarkably strong for the update of the 80′s TV series starring Johnny Depp and Richard Grieco, and the studio must have a lot of faith in this thing. The red band trailer is hysterical, with Hill and co-star Channing Tatum exuding an offbeat chemistry. Since he has story credit on this, Hill has confirmed that he’s working on the next installment: ”We got [the greenlight] by the studio to start writing the sequel.”
That’s it for now. No word on how they’ll move this forward, or if perhaps Hill and Tatum’s characters »
