Family Guy: Season 14 Ratings

19 hours ago | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

So, will it be renewed for a 15th season? Stay tuned. On Family Guy, Peter Griffin and his family and friends continue to have crazy mishaps in the Rhode Island town of Quahog. The voice cast includes Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Mike Henry. The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. Comparing The Trailer To Stephen King's It With The Original Miniseries

3 April 2017 10:47 PM, PDT | LRMonline.com | See recent LRM Online news »

Peek a boo

I will always have a soft spot for Stephen King's It. Without It, no pun intended, I would not have explored the amazing world that Stephen King created. Like many kids my age, I became aware of the book due to the ABC Miniseries that starred a young Seth Green as well as established stars of the time like Tim Reid, John Ritter, Harry Anderson, and of course the legendary Tim Curry as Pennywise the Clown, the It that scares the children of Derry, Maine.

They're doing a remake? Ha!

Stephen King's It on ABC was one of a series of miniseries based on his books that he had a hand in producing. You would think it was an odd fit for work of his kind, work that typically falls into the horror realm. If you've read the book, you would probably shake your head in confusion »

Sunnydale High School Reunion! Buffy the Vampire Slayer Cast Gets Together for Show’s 20th Anniversary

High school is a nightmare for many, but Buffy Summers had to battle evil forces and pass her midterms.

Twenty years after Buffy the Vampire Slayer hit the small screen, Entertainment Weekly rounded up the Scooby Gang for an all-star reunion. Nightwing: who is he, & where will he fit in the Dceu?

Nightwing is getting his own movie as part of the DC extended universe. Here’s our primer...

The DC Extended Universe continues to add more movies to its slate, and one of the most intriguing prospects to join the big pile of in-development movies is Nightwing. Since then, rumours have surfaced that Warner Bros and DC want to get something in front of cameras by the end of this year. Perhaps Nightwing will be put on this fast track, allowing Blüdhaven’s premier protector to swoop onto our screens speedily.

10 Crazy Full-Motion Video Game Performances By Well-Respected Actors

23 March 2017 7:52 AM, PDT | FilmSchoolRejects.com | See recent FilmSchoolRejects news »

Tim Curry has stolen my heart and he’s taking it into Communist space.

Full-Motion Video games were a mid- to late-1990s fad that were either semi-playable movies (where you shot at bad guys running on screen) or incorporated live-action cutscenes into otherwise animated games. Think Who Framed Roger Rabbit? but on your grandma’s PC. They’re usually all as silly as you’d imagine, either aimed at a younger audience delighted to watch some over-the-top fantasy or an older audience wowed by the possibilities of technology. It seems like the perfect home for character actors and infomercial escapees to camp it up with little career risk and some quick cash, right?

The weird thing is how many A-list actors — or at least people you’d never expect — appeared in these games. What’s even weirder is how crazy most of their roles were. Nobody’s a heartfelt dramatic lead, they »

‘Blark and Son’ Reinvents the Sitcom for an Instagram Generation

To many younger viewers, the 30-minute sitcom with commercials seems as outdated as having to actually be at home at a certain time to watch something. That generation is speaking by putting their eyeballs elsewhere, with many opting for YouTube videos and Netflix originals over old school cable subscriptions. So why not try a 30-second version? ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Turns 20: Look Back at the Classic Series’ Best Episodes!

10 March 2017 4:00 AM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

Grrr arggg! Into every generation an excellent TV show is born: One show in all the world. The Chosen One.

It’s been 20 years since Buffy Summers, Mr. Pointy, The Bronze, and Giles’ always-smudged spectacles graced our small screens, and the world has never been the same (mostly because she saved it… a lot).

There were plenty of quips (“Out. For. A. Walk. B**ch.”), tears (Spike’s undying devotion, sob), and frights (bunnies, plus demons and stuff), but Buffy the Vampire Slayer was so much more than that.

The Joss Whedon masterpiece created several feminist icons, spoke to addiction struggles, portrayed the first lesbian sex scene on broadcast television, showed that vampires were sexy long before Twilight and made it ok to wear pink leather pants in public… well, sort of.

Whether you were Team Angel, Team Spike or kind of just wanted Giles and Joyce to get together, the show had »

For the episode “Black Eyed, Please,” Plympton paid homage to 1930s gangster chic by imagining the Simpsons clan with weapons, ready to defend their turf. Finally, with “Married to the Blob,” the family sits on the couch as Maggie changes their surrounding using the TV remote control.
