No, Lando Won’t Appear In Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has no place for Lando Calrissian, the smooth-talking smuggler of Cloud City.

First introduced via Empire all those years ago, many fans had hoped that Billy Dee Williams might appear in a small cameo role come December – the lush casino city of Canto Bight certainly sounds like it would be right up Lando’s street – but sadly, that’s not the case.

Per Entertainment Weekly, The Last Jedi‘s writer-director Rian Johnson has gone on record to confirm that, no, Lando Calrissian won’t feature in next month’s Star Wars sequel whatsoever. Turns out the idea of welcoming Lando back to the fray “never really came up,” even when Star Wars: The Last Jedi was still kicking around the Lucasfilm boardroom.

No, and I don’t want fans to get their hopes up. He’s not in the film and it was never really something that came up.

Family Guy: Season 15 Ratings

  • TVSeriesFinale
Last season, Family Guy dropped again in the ratings. Thanks to its numbers in the 18-49 demo though, it remained one of the top 10 scripted Fox TV series, so it seems less likely to be cancelled than other shows. Still, the sitcom is aging, and Seth MacFarlane debuted The Orville this fall -- a live-action sci-fi comedy. Could the end possibly be nigh? Will Family Guy be cancelled or renewed for season 16? Stay tuned. A Fox animated comedy, Family Guy centers on Peter Griffin, his family and friends, and their crazy mishaps in the Rhode Island town of Quahog. The voice cast includes MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Mila Kunis, and Mike Henry.Read More…

‘Robot Chicken’ Reveals Rejected ‘Titanic’ Sketch With a Much More Satisfying Ending

‘Robot Chicken’ Reveals Rejected ‘Titanic’ Sketch With a Much More Satisfying Ending
Robot Chicken” always finds a way to make everything even more absurd than it already might be, and that includes playing off the beatdown “Titanic” joke about Jack’s tragic end. In a recent tweet, the “Robot Chicken” social media team revealed a rejected, “Titanic” sketch that provided fans of the classic film a much more satisfying ending.

Although the Times New Roman font and bullet points are jarring, the content is pretty hysterical. The sketch is timely, given that “Titanic” is returning to theaters for its 20th anniversary this December, and also timeless, considering parkour jokes are just that. Read the outline for the sketch below:

Star Wars Rebels season 4 episode 8 review: Crawler Commanders

Megan Crouse Nov 7, 2017

A decent Star Wars: Rebels episode combines an episodic battle and some serialized characterization. Spoilers...

This review contains spoilers.

4.8 Crawler Commanders

It would have been hard for Rebels to top Kindred in terms of game-changing revelations and answered questions, so Crawler Commanders doesn’t really try. Instead, Hera gives a heroic speech on Yavin 4 and the rest of the team capture a smoke-spewing mining machine. The Lothal segment is classic Rebels, mostly episodic except for a cute appearance by Ezra’s old smuggler friend Vizago. The plan is a bit muddled at first — the Empire is wrecking the planet, but the machine is run by the Mining Guild. But the Mining Guild seems to condone owning slaves too, so their slimy employees just got what was coming to them.

On Yavin 4, we get to see a rare instance of some of the major Rebel leaders working together.

Watch: Seth Green Channels Chris Griffin as Anakin Skywalker in ‘Star Wars’ Spoof

  • Collider.com
Seth Green has enjoyed a very successful career doing silly voices for animated TV shows and specials, most notably as Chris Griffin on Family Guy and innumerable roles on Robot Chicken. Both animated series have famously poked fun at the epic and expansive Star Wars universe over the years. Seth MacFarlane's creation even enjoyed three very special episodes--"Blue Harvest", "Something, Something, Something, Dark Side" and "It's a Trap!"--that paralleled the three original Star Wars films, with Green's Chris Griffin taking on the role of Luke Skywalker. And while there isn't any word of a …

The people on the list have helped build the brilliant careers of their clients, shepherded hit television shows and successful movies, created small-screen series, films and animated shows, launched digital platforms, fostered hit music, counseled top dealmakers and financed them, and are some

Rollback Review: Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 4

And thus, a new era began.

Buffy Season Four is a controversial Season amongst fans. To put it simply – it’s not the favourite for many. This was a bit of an interesting year for the show – for one thing, it lost two of its principle cast members to a newly launched spin-off, the familiar high school location was no more and the characters were officially adults. Times were moving on for Buffy, and the things that we had gotten used to were going to have to change.

Thus, the show moved onto the life of a Slayer at College, and the adventures that ensued. Adventures that are a little, well, daft at times. Don’t get me wrong – Season Four is by no means a failure, and does hit some serious heights on occasion. If anything, it lacks the consistency of Season Three and the brilliance of Season Two.
