Yesterday, it was reported that director Martin Guigui had begun casting Raging Bull II. Veteran character actor William Forsythe (Boardwalk Empire) was mentioned as the frontrunner to star in the film. Now, I suppose the first question for any fan of Martin Scorsese’s 1980 biopic about the rise and fall of 1950s boxer Jack Lamotta (played by Robert De Niro) is…why?
