Justice League’s Ray Fisher joins True Detective Season 3

True Detective season 3 continues to flesh out its already impressive cast with some new additions, most notably Justice League‘s Ray Fisher, who’ll play the son of Mahershala Ali’s Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas who’s investigating the decades spanning case of two missing children in the heart of the Ozarks.

Also joining the series main players – Mahershala Ali, Carmen Ejogo, Stephen Dorff, Scoot McNairy and Mamie Gummer – will be Fear the Walking Dead‘s Michael Greyeyes, Home & Away star Rhys Wakefield, and veteran TV actor Jon Tenny.

Nic Pizzolatto will act as showrunner for True Detective 3, and is the sole writer of all episodes of the run, aside from episode 4, which he co-wrote with David Milch (NYPD Blue, Deadwood). Pizzolatto will also make his directorial debut alongside Green Room‘s Jeremy Saulnier.

Radiant Films adds 'Don't Go' with Stephen Dorff to sales slate (exclusive)

Radiant Films International has added the psychological thriller Don’t Go starring Stephen Dorff and Melissa George to its sales slate and will introduce to buyers in Berlin this week.

David Gleeson, who wrote the screenplay to the upcoming Fox Searchlight drama Tolkien, directs from a screenplay he wrote with Ronan Blaney about a loving couple who struggle to deal with the loss of their daughter in an accident.

After they relocate to a small beachside town in Ireland, the woman fears for her husband’s sanity when he has vivid dreams about the child and convinces himself he can bring her back to life.

Radiant CEO and president Mimi Steinbauer will present first footage to buyers in Berlin. Paradigm represents Us rights to the drama, which also stars Simon Delaney and Charlotte Bradley.

As HBO prepares its third season of True Detective, it has added yet another cast member. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mamie Gummer (The Good Wife) has joined the season in a significant role. She will portray Lucy Purcell, a mother of two at the centre of a tragic crime.

The actress has been cast in the upcoming third season of HBO’s anthology drama True Detective, per THR.com. She’ll play Lucy Purcell, a mother of two children who finds herself involved in a crime.

Ten years after it was slated for release, The Poughkeepsie Tapes is finally available on Blu-ray thanks to Scream Factory. Would that it had remained buried. A found-footage “documentary”-style horror film, it chronicles a serial killer who has videotaped all of his crimes. The film is pieced together through interviews with people familiar with the case, as well as footage taken by the killer himself. Imagine the video camera scene from Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, only stretched to feature length and repellant for totally different reasons.

The third season of True Detective continues to build up its cast as Godless actor Scoot McNairy has signed on to appear in HBO’s anthology series, reports Deadline. He’ll star opposite Mahershala Ali (Moonlight), Carmen Ejogo (Selma) and Stephen Dorff (Blade).

McNairy will portray Tom, a father who suffers a terrible loss that ties his fate to that of two state police detectives over 10 years.
