First Look at Henry Cavill in Mission: Impossible 6
Ever since production began in April on Mission: Impossible 6, we've seen a few Tom Cruise set videos, where he was seen crashing a motorcycle, while others showed him greeting fans between takes. Today, director Christopher McQuarrie has unveiled a new glimpse at Henry Cavill's character, who has yet to be identified. Over the past few weeks, the filmmaker has also shared first look photos featuring new cast member Angela Bassett, and franchise veteran Ving Rhames, who, along with Tom Cruise, has appeared in all six Mission: Impossible movies.

The director didn't divulge any addition details with this Instagram photo, but Henry Cavill is sporting the same mustache look as the first time we saw him on set, in a photo Christopher McQuarrie sent out back in April, when the film was still shooting in Paris. The director revealed a few weeks ago, just before the Memorial Day holiday,

Quantico Season 2 Finale: Ep Talks Alternate Ending, Skipped Kiss, Nixed Cameo by Supergirl Star and More
Weeks ago, Quantico creator Joshua Safran told TVLine that the ABC spy drama had shot an ending that he’d cut if word of the show’s renewal hit before the finale aired.

As it turned out, though, the scene was gone long before news of the Season 3 pickup — and Safran’s stepping down as showrunner — broke Monday evening.

Superman Actor Henry Cavill Joins Mission: Impossible 6

Superman Actor Henry Cavill Joins Mission: Impossible 6
Last month, a report surfaced that the highly-anticipated Mission: Impossible 6 starts production in either late spring or early summer. The sequel has now shifted into casting mode, with a new report surfacing today that Henry Cavill has joined the already stellar ensemble. Tom Cruise is reprising his role as Ethan Hunt, while other franchise mainstays such as Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner are also expected to return in some capacity, although their casting has yet to be confirmed.

Variety reports that Henry Cavill will play the right hand man to the head of Ethan Hunt's Imf unit. Alec Baldwin played the head of the Imf in the last Mission: Impossible movie, 2015's Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, but it isn't known yet if he will return. That seems unlikely, though, since the Imf head has been played by a different actor in each movie. Henry Czerny played

‘The Other Half’ Review: Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen Anchor a Quiet Mental Health Drama

‘The Other Half’ Review: Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen Anchor a Quiet Mental Health Drama
The Other Half” is a film built on withholding. Whether it’s writer/director Joey Klein’s general approach to dispensing key character details or the information that two lovers choose to keep hidden from each other, there’s a pervasive kind of obfuscation that can be at turns refreshing and frustrating. It’s a series of preludes and aftermaths, following an arc of persistent loss and newfound love. But when Klein trusts his actors and leans on the strength of the genuine moments they’re able to create together, the story of Emily (Tatiana Maslany) and Nickie (Tom Cullen) moves beyond the usual constraints of characters with similar pasts.

True to form with the rest of the film’s strongest elements, Nickie and Emily’s relationship has a simple beginning. After making eyes at each other across the room at the café where Nickie works, the two strike up a relationship.

In it, Maslany and Cullen’s characters lie on the grass in a park and have a half-serious, half-joking conversation: “So is this just what you do?” she asks him. “Go from girl to girl to girl?” They begin to embrace as our field of vision gets blurred, an intimate moment that gets interrupted by a lewd question from a man nearby.

The Other Half,” the indie drama that premiered at SXSW last year, has been picked up by distributor Brainstorm Media for release in U.S. theaters in March. Director and writer Joey Klein’s love story earned a strong review from Variety in its festival bow in 2016.

The storyline centers on a grieving young man, played by Tom Cullen (“Downton Abbey”), and his budding relationship with Emily, an artist depicted by “Orphan Black” star and Emmy winner Tatiana Maslany. Over the course of the film, Emily’s bipolar disorder brings trauma and tension to the already-precarious union.

Quantico Ep Talks Choosing a Bomber, [Spoiler]'s Fatal Sacrifice, Alex/Ryan Drama and the CIA in Season 2
Warning: This post contains spoilers for the Quantico season finale.

Quantico on Sunday wrapped its season-long mystery — who was really behind the Manhattan bombings? — tighter than a Nat’s henley left too long in the clothes dryer.

As revealed last week, Liam was the driving force behind the carnage originally blamed on Agent Alex Parrish… but he wasn’t the only one. So after we watched a quick rewind of Liam’s whereabouts while pulling the whole shebang together (set to a pretty great orchestral arrangement of Peter Gabriel’s “Digging in the Dirt”), we witnessed Alex & Co. realize that

‘Supernatural’ star Jim Beaver gives us a dynamic ‘Richard III’ reading
It was in Vietnam, where he was serving in the Marines, that Jim Beaver had his first significant encounter with Shakespeare. “I was bored to death as most of us were there when we weren’t being terrified,” Beaver recalled. “And I stumbled across this old, beat-up edition of the complete works, and I thought, ‘I’ve heard this guy’s good. I’ll give it a read.’ And I did, and I thought it was fascinating.” Today, he still has that collection of Shakespeare’s complete works in his home. A couple years after finding that complete works, Beaver was back in the U.S., and as a college student in Oklahoma, he performed in a production of King Lear — that cemented his love of the Bard, said the actor, known best to Supernatural fans as Uncle Bobby and to HBO viewers as the prospector Whitney Ellsworth on Western drama Deadwood.
