Josh Holloway enjoyed a long run on Lost but unfortunately he hasn't been as lucky with Intelligence. The CBS TV show has now been cancelled after one season of 13 episodes.

It allows him to be connected directly into the global information grid. Other castmembers include Marg Helgenberger, Meghan Ory, Michael Rady, John Billingsley, P. J. Byrne, Tomas Arana, Lance Reddick, and Peter Coyote.

After the failure of Hostages, the network was hoping for Intelligence to be a ratings hit to fill their Mondays at 10pm timeslot. It wasn't to be. Despite some impressive star talent and special effects, the show couldn't draw enough viewers.

The Insider: Rachel Nichols talks about The Inside and Mike Nichols

9 May 2014 5:18 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

When told that she had a spooky resemblance to Clarice Starling which only added to The Silence of the Lambs (1991) vibe to a TV series where Rachel Nichols [Conan the Barbarian] portrayed a FBI profiler hunting down serial killers, the actress laughs, “That’s so funny you said that!  It happened a lot when I was younger.  The one person people ever said that I looked like was Jodie Foster.  When Tim Minear [Firefly] came on to retool the original pilot of The Inside [Fox, 2005] that was his inspiration.  He said, ‘Jodie Foster and The Silence of the Lambs.’  She has always been one of my absolute favourites.  I adore that comment because that was exactly what we were going for.  I loved the show and working on it.  It got the short end of the stick because with actors Peter Coyote [Sphere] and Adam Baldwin [Full Metal Jacket], and Tim Minear writing the show it could have been so much more. »

Anyone making a movie about a member of the Grateful Dead would naturally gravitate toward Jerry Garcia. But director Mike Fleiss, best known for co-directing the 2011 doc God Bless Ozzy Osbourne, had other ideas. “I wanted to give Bob [Weir] his moment to shine,” Fleiss says. “I wanted to shine a light on his contributions to culture and rock and roll.”

25 March 2014 1:39 AM, PDT | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

CBS kept Hostages on the air even though it became obvious that it was doomed to be cancelled after one season. How has Intelligence fared? Will it suffer the same fate or will it be renewed for a second season instead?

On Intelligence, Gabriel Vaughn (Josh Holloway) is a high-tech intelligence operative who's been enhanced with a super-computer microchip in his brain. It allows him to be connected directly into the global information grid. Other castmembers include Marg Helgenberger, Meghan Ory, Michael Rady, John Billingsley, P. J. Byrne, Tomas Arana, Lance Reddick, and Peter Coyote.

Debuting on a Tuesday night in January, sandwiched between NCIS and Person of Interest, Intelligence's first episode drew a very healthy 2.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 16.49 million viewers.

Unfortunately, most of those viewers didn't return for the second episode the following Monday. That »

Taylor Spreitler, Peter Coyote Starring in ‘Secret Place’ (Exclusive)

13 March 2014 7:23 AM, PDT | Variety - Film News | See recent Variety - Film News news »

Filming has wrapped on indie drama “The Secret Place,”  starring Taylor Spreitler (“Melissa & Joey”), Peter Coyote, Gil Bellows, Mackenzie Phillips, Rex Lee, Elizabeth Pena, Amy Davidson and Amy Price Francis.

Jay Silverman directed in his feature debut from a script he co-wrote with “Blue Valentine” scribe Joey Curtis along with Joe Gamache.

Keefe Kaupanger-Swacker and Will Newman produced and Bethany Cerrona co-produced  for Jay Silverman Prods. Production on “The Secret Place” took place at locations in and around Los Angeles and Moab, Utah.

“In all honesty, choosing to shoot in Los Angeles helped keep production costs down,” Silverman told Variety. “We capitalized on a great horse ranch location within the zone and didn’t have one bad weather day in January or February.  Additionally, most all of the cast lives in L.A. so we avoided traveling them to another state plus all the associated costs.”

Intelligence: Season One Ratings

14 January 2014 1:20 PM, PST | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

Hostages was a big ratings disappointment for CBS. They're hoping that their new Intelligence series will perform much better. Will it be cancelled or become a hit? Stay tuned!

The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- usually the next day, around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to see the latest.
