Gorilla Grodd, Jeremiah Danvers, Vigilante, And More Featured In Upcoming DC TV Episode Descriptions

10 February 2017 4:43 PM, PST | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

The CW has released episode descriptions for the week beginning February 27th, and while Legends of Tomorrow is M.I.A., we still have an awful lot to look forward to. For starters, Dean Cain's Jeremiah Danvers will finally be returning to the world of Supergirl, though he may not actually be the real deal!  In The Flash, the two-part Gorilla Grodd event will be wrapping up with an attack on Central City, and it sounds like we can expect Jesse Quick to become a permanent member of Team Flash, something which will take the current numbers of speedsters in the show up to three. Is that too many, though? We'll see, but over in Arrow, Oliver Queen is going to have his hands full with Vigilante after he targets Star City's Mayor and once again winds up in the crosshairs of the Emerald Archer. Kevin Sorbo Drops Clues About His Supergirl Role

8 February 2017 10:40 AM, PST | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

One of the greatest things about Supergirl is the casting, which always seems to be pitch perfect. Striking a tidy balance between able talent, and nods to past televisual glories, the show has already included familiar faces such as Dean Cain from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman, Calista Flockhart from Ally McBeal, and even the original movie Supergirl, Helen Slater. This trend look set to continue with the news that Hercules: The Legendary Journeys star, Kevin Sorbo and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman star, Teri Hatcher are set to appear in second season episodes.

As soon as those casting announcements hit the airwaves, speculation began as to who the two icons might portray. These snippets are highly prized pieces of information, however, and little confirmation was forthcoming, beyond the fact that the stars would be popping up. But now, Sorbo has dropped a few clues in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight. »

Supergirl Season 2: Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo to Appear!

3 February 2017 11:29 AM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

Some well known actors will be stopping by Supergirl later this season.

Earlier this week, Teri Hatcher signed up to appear as a new villain in a recurring capacity and we're super excited.

How so?

Hatcher starred as Lois Lane on ABC's take on Superman. If you recall, it was titled Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman and lasted four seasons.

Yeah, we're still not impressed with the way ABC handled the show.

Hatcher is probably more well known for her role in Desperate Housewives, but we're sure she'll make her mark on Supergirl

She's currently slated to appear in more than one episode later this season.

Her appearance could also pave the way for a reunion with her Lois & Clark co-star Dean Cain, who currently stars as Jeremiah Danvers.

He was last seen a few months ago when his character was revealed to be alive and in captivity at Project Cadmus. »

‘Supergirl’ Meets Hercules: Kevin Sorbo Cast in Mystery Villain Role

Supergirl” is getting yet another mystery villain. Shortly after casting former Lois Lane Teri Hatcher as a similarly described baddie, the show has enlisted Kevin Sorbo in a recurring role as one of Supergirl’s many foes.

“Since his days as Hercules, Kevin Sorbo has brought such a strong presence to the screen and we couldn’t be more excited to have him join us on ‘Supergirl,'” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said.

Sorbo’s geek pedigree is well accounted for at this point. First there was “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and that franchise’s assorted TV movies and animated joints, in which Sorbo played the eponymous Greek demigod. Then there was “Andromeda,” the sci-fi series created from unused Gene Roddenberry material that ran for five seasons, in which he was High Guard Captain Dylan Hunt, whose mission was to rekindle the light of civilization across several galaxies.
