Star Trek Online: Season 14 – Emergence coming to consoles this November

Star Trek Online fans are in for a treat this November as Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios announce that Season 14 – Emergence will be arriving on Xbox One and Playstation 4 on the 14th November. In this latest update players will visit a new colony accompanied by Starfleet Captain Geordi Laforge, voiced by LeVar Burton, discover a brand-new Fleet Holding and take on the Tzenkethi.

The cunning and highly intelligent Tzenkethi (first appearing in Season 12 – Reckoning) are causing more trouble in Season 14 – Emergence when they attack a new colony in the Alpha Quadrant. Captains will visit this colony, recently established by the Kentari and Lukari species accompanied by Captain Geordi La Forge (LeVar Burton) when the Tzenkethi attack what they see as easy targets.

LeVar Burton, the actor who hosted PBS’s Reading Rainbow from 1983 to 2006, is being sued in a wide-ranging lawsuit that claims he is attempting to “reap the benefits” of the beloved show that is technically owned by a public broadcasting station in Buffalo, New York.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reading Rainbow‘s current owner, Wned, has been in court with Burton for over a year disputing a 2011 licensing deal.

LeVar Burton can fly twice as high, but he may have to do it in business class.

The Reading Rainbow host and Star Trek: The Next Generation actor, 60, had a turbulent flight on American Airlines on Sunday and sounded off on Twitter about the “disrespect” he says he experienced.

Burton was bumped from first class to business on a recent flight from Chicago O’Hare to Los Angeles, despite having paid for two seats in the pricier section. On Sunday, he called out the airline on twitter, tagging American, he wrote “I’m in No Mood for disrespect.”

His publicist confirmed that the iconic insult comic passed in his Los Angeles home, from kidney failure. ‘Battle of the Network Stars’ Reboot in the Works at ABC (Exclusive)

ABC is preparing to add “Battle of the Network Stars” to its roster of primetime game-show revivals.

The network is developing a rebooted version of the ’70s and ’80s television classic, which pitted teams of TV stars against one another in athletic competitions. ABC has begun a casting search for what would be a new event series airing this summer. According to a casting announcement obtained by Variety, the series will shoot in May.

The revival hails from ABC and Img, which owns the program and will produce with Glassman Media. It will feature stars from across multiple television genres competing to raise money for charity.

The original “Battle of the Network Stars” aired on ABC from 1976 to 1985 and featured teams representing ABC, CBS, and NBC competing in events such as kayaking, golf, three-on-three footbal, and tug of war. The show was hosted for most of its run by Howard Cosell. Among
