'Baywatch' babes head 'Back to the Bay.' What other casts would you like to see reunite in their series' settings?

2 August 2010 3:39 PM, PDT | EW.com - PopWatch | See recent EW.com - PopWatch news »

I’ve had the Baywatch theme stuck in my head all day today. And not just because I’ve got the 1990s on the brain. Nope, it’s because, according to Variety, former Baywatch stars Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D’Errico, and Gena Lee Nolin are starring in Back to the Bay, a “docu-comedy” that will follow the actresses as they “embark on new phases of their career.” But here’s the catch (seemingly the bait to draw folks in who fondly remember those form-fitting red swimsuits): The four actresses will live together in a beach house.

Former 'Baywatch' babes sign on for reality series

2 August 2010 2:09 PM, PDT | Zap2It - From Inside the Box | See recent Zap2It - From Inside the Box news »

Like four lost, irrelevant molecules, former "Baywatch" stars Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D'Errico and Gena Lee Nolin have bonded together for an upcoming reality series, "Back to the Bay."

A docu-comedy, per Variety, the premise will stick the four women in a beach house to live together, while camera crews explores each of their personal and professional exploits.

And they're eclectic, to say the least. Eggert, easily the more settled of the bunch, is working on a fitness DVD series and bringing up her 12-year-old daughter. Nolin, also a mom, just finished a book about postpartum depression. Bingham opened a dating service, which she plans on using to her own romantic advantage, and the most exciting by far has to be D'Errico. A reported "conspiracy theorist," her big plan is to climb Mt. Aratat to find Noah's Ark.

Baywatch Stars Back With Reality Project

2 August 2010 10:16 AM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

Just when you thought the boob-tube (pun intended) had finally moved beyond the Baywatch Era, the show seems to be creeping back onto the scene via a new reality project.  What?  That's right beachbums, four former Baywatch stars have decided to dip their toes back in the sand and give us something we've all been missing for far too long…okay, I lied about that last part.  All their really giving us is more celeb-reality television, but if you like that sorta thing, you'll probably dig this!

The project is being called a "docu-comedy" and will center around former Baywatch stars Traci Bingham, Nicole Eggert, Donna D'Errico and Gena Lee Nolin.  The tentative title of the show is Back to the Bay (see how they got around the copyright and ownership issues there?).
