[Updated] After officially announcing its return late last year, Arrested Development Season 4 went into production back in August, and things couldn’t be looking better. There’s no doubt that this is going to be one of the best things television has to offer in 2013.

Netflix acquired the rights to the new season last year, and are set to make it available in its entirety on the same day. And now that date has been announced as 4th May.

So if you’re reading this in the Us, you make sure that you go and watch Iron Man 3 on 3rd May, because you’re going to be too busy watching the awesomeness that is Arrested Development that Saturday.

Along with the season’s premiere date, the names of the episodes are reported to have been leaked, though have since officially been taken down. But via the folks at Bleeding Cool, »

Judy Greer: 'I get flashed all the time'

27 December 2012 4:00 PM, PST | The Guardian - Film News | See recent The Guardian - Film News news »

Quirky and upfront, the actor isn't your typical Hollywood veteran. She tells Hermione Hoby about her latest film, Playing For Keeps, her Broadway debut, and the variety of ways Arrested Development fans show their appreciation

Judy Greer has made around 80 movies over almost 15 years in Hollywood. But she appears to be oblivious to the protocol of the actor interview. She comes into the restaurant, makes the "there you are" hands gesture, as if we're old friends finally managing to meet up for lunch, and launches straight into confessional mode: "Oh my God: I totally just had like a 10-minute conversation with someone and I've got no idea who they were."

She also says "fuck" a lot, which strikes an odd note in this place – a muzak-oozing timewarp of a midtown Manhattan restaurant, all obsequious waiters and swaths of peach linen. Halfway through an answer she breaks off to frown at »

Eric Stonestreet: All I Want To Do is Entertain

27 December 2012 11:03 AM, PST | Entertainment Tonight | See recent Entertainment Tonight news »

On December 13, celebrities from the worlds of cinema, sports, music and television came together to provide our nation's heroes with a once in a lifetime event. Only thing is, the soldiers had no idea what lied in wait for them!

Cerritos College played host to twenty-eight unsuspecting service men and women who believed they'd been gathered to play a casual game of flag football to benefit Got Your 6 and the Pat Tillman Foundation. Unbeknownst to them, more than 12,000 fans were eagerly awaiting to cheer them on as they entered the jam-packed stadium. And the surprises didn't stop there.

After they were split into two teams, the soldiers were surprised to find their coaches were the legendary Bobby Bowden and Urban Meyer. Then each team was given a pro to play alongside when Kurt Warner and Marcus Allen took sides. Finally, they discovered Owen Wilson would also be playing, while Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet served as sideline »

Watch: Sandra Bullock Puts A Ring On It In Red Band Trailer For 'The Heat' With Melissa McCarthy

19 December 2012 7:34 PM, PST | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

In the span of about five months, audiences are going to see Melissa McCarthy, no holds barred, in three different films: starting this weekend in a memorable appearance in Judd Apatow's "This Is 40," in February in the road trip throwdown "Identity Thief" with Jason Bateman and then in the spring with Sandra Bullock in "The Heat." Is it too much? Well, she's certainly found her niche, playing larger than life and foul-mouthed down to a science and she's scattin' and beboppin' all over the place here. She provides the film's edge, playing the rougher half of the odd couple cop pairing with Bullock in the movie about...well, it's about something, we just haven't figured it out yet. But hey! There's Demian Bichir! But really, the latest from "Bridesmaids" helmer Paul Feig looks like a loose concept that's really just there to let the leads have fun, and »

Second ‘Identity Thief’ Trailer Features Even More Attempted Vehicular Homicide

18 December 2012 6:00 PM, PST | FilmSchoolRejects.com | See recent FilmSchoolRejects news »

Given the fact that Identity Thief stars Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy, it wasn’t all that much of a surprise that its first trailer was full of laughs. But what kind of came out of nowhere was how many cars got crashed in it and how much serious physical trauma Bateman and McCarthy endured during just two minutes of footage. It got to the point where it started to look like they were starring in an action movie. The second trailer that just got released for the film doesn’t do anything to contradict that notion either. As a matter of fact, it gives us another scene where McCarthy gets hit by a car, and one where she gets her head smacked against a passenger seat window; and that’s in addition to the part where Bateman hits her with an acoustic guitar. Is it possible that this year’s rekindling of the Three Stooges franchise »

'Identity Thief' trailer: Melissa McCarthy fights Jason Bateman in comic battle

18 December 2012 12:08 PM, PST | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy don't hold anything back in the trailer for their upcoming comedy "Identity Thief."

McCarthy plays a con woman who steals Bateman's identity from across the country (it helps that his name is "Sandy"), and he decides to track her down to put an end to her thieving ways. But the pair wind up embroiled in an even bigger mess.

The trailer highlights both verbal and physical sparring between the two and it looks like the "Arrested Development" star and "Mike & Molly" leading lady could be an inspired match on the big screen.

The supporting cast includes Eric Stonestreet ("Modern Family"), Amanda Peet ("The Good Wife"), John Cho ("Go On"), Maggie Elizabeth Jones ("Ben & Kate"), Jonathan Banks ("Breaking Bad") and Robert Patrick ("True Blood").

"Identity Thief" opens Feb. 8, 2013. »

New ‘Identity Thief’ Trailer: Melissa McCarthy Gets Jason Bateman in Big Trouble

18 December 2012 11:37 AM, PST | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) directs the February comedy/crime flick Identity Thief, which teams up Jason Bateman (Arrested Development) and Melissa McCarthy (Bridemaids) as a very odd couple: a straight-laced businessman and the outrageous criminal who empties his bank account after stealing his identity.

The first Identity Thief trailer emphasizes the contrast between Bateman as the unwitting schmo and McCarthy’s cartoonish, frizzled-haired law-breaker. Today, we have a new theatrical promo that dives deeper into the plot and better accounts for the madness that ensues when these two people’s worlds collide.

All things considered, this new preview is an improvement on its predecessor. For starters, it provides an actual explanation as to why Bateman treks across the U.S. in order to capture McCarthy on his own. Moreover, introducing Genesis Rodriguez (Man on a Ledge, The ...

I'm Going After Bilbo: New Trailer For 'Identity Thief' Starring Jason Bateman & Melissa McCarthy

18 December 2012 10:54 AM, PST | The Playlist | See recent The Playlist news »

As folks will soon see during the end credits of "This Is 40," Melissa McCarthy is an improv machine. “I've seen people in tears before, but that was something otherworldly. People were leaving the room -- crew had to leave. It was impossible, and she just kept her composure through all of it,” Paul Rudd said about working with her on Judd Apatow's film, with the director adding, quite simply: "...Melissa is one of the best improvisers there is." And hopefully Seth Gordon knew enough to let her go off script, but even if not, the new trailer for "Identity Thief" does have some promise. Co-starring McCarthy and Jason Bateman, the story follows a regular guy who has his identity stolen, and must track down the culprit, bring her back to his own state in order to clear his name and restore his financial standing. Dubious setup aside, it's »
