Dave Filoni, the Supervising Director on hit animated TV show Star Wars Clone Wars has revealed that they have finally named a replacement for the late Ian Abercrombie who passed away a little over a year ago and we think fans will be thrilled by the show’s choice .
For five years Abercrombie had provided the voices of 2 of the galaxies most heinous villains Darth Sidious and the Chancellor Palpetine as well as countless other characters over the years including Star Wars video games but sadly died in January last year following kidney failure. Had he not voiced such important characters he may not have been replaced however without the show’s most infamous bad guy there perhaps would be no point in continuing however it was important to replace him with the right actor and we can reveal that it will in fact be Tim Curry the man behind »

Actor Sam Witwer understands the Dark Side of the Force.
