(September 22, 2010 - October 24, 2010) His movie was adapted by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan's book of a musical, "Hairspray", and performed at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey. Scott Wittman and Marc Shaiman were the lyricists. Marc Shaiman was also the musical director. Jerry Mitchell and Michele Lynch were the choreographers. Jack O'Brien and Matt Lenz were the directors.

(2009-2010 Season) His musical, "Hairspray", was performed at the Marriott Theatre in Chicago, Illinois with Marissa Perry and Heidi Kettenring in the cast. Marc Robin was the director and choreographer. Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman were the lyricists. Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan were the musical directors.

(October 2013) Narrated a Star of the Month featurette about Vincent Price for Turner Classic Movies. It aired several times during the month.
