Tonight's MovieMovie: Presumed Innocent Starring Harrison Ford

"I am a prosecutor. I have spent my life in the assignment of blame."

Rozat "Rusty" Sabich may not immediately come to mind when you're asked to name a character Harrison Ford has played on the big screen — Han Solo, Indiana Jones, Jack Ryan and Dr. Richard Kimble top our list — but Ford delivered one of the best performances of his career as the philanderous prosecuting attorney in tonight's MovieMovie, the 1990 crime thriller Presumed Innocent.

The movie was written (with Frank Pierson) and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alan J. Pakula (Sophie's Choice) and is adapted from Scott Turow's best-selling novel of the same name. The intricate plot revolves around the rape and murder of a young woman (Greta Scacchi) and the innocent prosecutor (Ford) who used to be her lover who is being fingered for the crime. Ford plays Sabich's grief over the loss of his lover and the paranoia that follows with quiet, »

London, Oct 13: British musician Mick Jagger's daughter Lizzie stripped off and straddled a yellowfin tuna for a photo shoot.

Three years after Greta Scacchi posed with a cod to highlight unsustainable fishing, Lizzie has joined the bandwagon.

Like her model mother Jerry Hall, the 28-year-old showed no inhibitions for the shoot, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Lizzie's provocative tuna image is shot by fashion photographer John Rankin. It is the latest in a line of celebrity fish pictures designed. »

Lizzy Jagger naked, Jerry Hall naked, dead fish...naked?

12 October 2012 6:48 PM, PDT | Pop2it | See recent Pop2it news »

Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall's eldest daughter Lizzy Jagger is no stranger to taking her clothes off in front of the camera. Now, taking her clothes off in front of the camera, then proceeding to straddle a dead tuna -- that's a different story.

Lizzy was Playboy's June cover girl in 2011, following in mom Jerry's naked footsteps. Now the family turns nudity into a mom and daughter bonding activity, as they strip bare and pose with cold wet sea life (you know, because nothing says family time like a little naked fish handling).

Lizzy can be seen on the website for Fishlove completely nude, rolling around with a yellowfin tuna. She also pairs up with Jerry to go topless, back to back, while cradling matching fish from behind the gills.

The photos are part of a UK-based campaign to bring awareness to unsustainable fishing practices condoned by the European Union. »

Robert Altman's 'The Player': What Lessons Hollywood Has Learned From The Showbiz Satire

13 April 2012 5:02 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

Released 20 years ago this week , "The Player" seemed at the time like one of the most merciless lampoons of Hollywood ever made, but director Robert Altman liked to insist that it was "a very mild satire." He meant that it could have been even meaner if he'd made it more realistic. Altman was working from Michael Tolkin's screenplay, adapted from Tolkin's own novel, but the observations it made about the movie industry's contempt for art and artists were clearly informed by Altman's own decades of frustration as a creative filmmaker with a singular, idiosyncratic vision who repeatedly clashed with executives interested only in profit. Judging by how many Hollywood A-listers he got to do free cameos in the movie -- about five dozen of them -- a lot of the industry's top talent must have felt as he did. So did critics and audiences, who helped make the movie »

Scacchi Relished Playing Davis On Stage

12 April 2012 9:11 AM, PDT | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Actress Greta Scacchi relished the chance to play Bette Davis on the London stage last year, hailing it as "the best role" she has ever had.

The Heat and Dust star appeared alongside Anita Dobson in the play Bette and Joan, about the personal and professional relationship between Davis and Joan Crawford - and she was only too happy to accept a role so different to her usual performances.

Speaking on U.K. chat show Loose Women, she says, "It's the best role I've ever had - the range... Actors always want to play different types, we don't want to be typecast, but typecasting is the nature of success so for years I had to look pretty and elegant and very often be well-behaved or cold-hearted and mean but actually in life I'm half Italian and I'm quite hot-blooded and expressive.

"And I felt very often my acting had to be more restricted, more restricted in my behaviour than I am in life and Bette gives me a chance to let it all out." »

Culture flash: Margaret Thatcher

5 January 2012 2:50 AM, PST | The Guardian - Film News | See recent The Guardian - Film News news »

The Iron Lady and the arts were never the closest of bedfellows – she took her axe to them and they rebelled

In a word, Margaret Thatcher's relationship with the arts has been ironic. By taking an axe to British culture, the former Pm – making headlines once again with the arrival of The Iron Lady starring Meryl Streep – gave a generation something to rebel against, inspiring an outpouring of creativity that was usually negative, hateful and directed against her.

There's even a hint of that irony in the new film: it starts with the old milk-snatcher herself running out of milk. Thatcher is undeniably an easy look: big hair, handbag, deep voice, blue dress – or business suit for her Spitting Image puppet. On TV, she's been portrayed by everyone from Jennifer Saunders (as a femme fatale in The Hunt for Tony Blair) to Greta Scacchi (nakedly in Jeffrey Archer: The Truth »
