After three seasons on TNT, we have to bid adieu to Grace Hanadarko, Saving Grace's gritty detective. It's also somewhat karmic that Saving Grace -- which co-stars Laura San Giacomo -- would be canceled just as two of that actresses' Just Shoot Me alums win roles on new series. I suppose we can honor her memory by looking forward to Wendie Malick on Hot in Cleveland and George Segal on Retired at 35. And David Spade on Rules of Engagement's second season. I suppose. »
For all the fans of Saving Grace, an original series from the American cable network TNT, the third and final season will be released on DVD on July 13, 2010.
In this season of this show created by Nancy Miller, Academy Award winner Holly Hunter (The Piano) plays Grace Hanadarko, a hard-drinking and also immoral detective from the Oklahoma City police. While she fights criminals, she also has to deal with her emotional crisis. Since she was told that she's headed straight to hell, Grace receives help from Earl (Leon Rippy), her "last chance" angel. Will she find peace and redemption in the final season?

You can bring home the third and final season of a TNT hit series this June, right after the series comes to an end. Saving Grace: Season Three - The Final Season will be released on DVD on June 29, a little over a week after the series finale episode airs on TNT on Monday, June 21. This five-disc set will be priced at $49.98 Srp and will contain the final 19 episodes of the series. It doesn't appear that this set will include any special features, but you can take a look at the cover art below. The series stars Holly Hunter, Bailey Chase, Leon Rippy, Laura San Giacomo, Kenny Johnson, Bokeem Woodbine, Gregory Cruz, Dylan Minnette and Lorraine Toussaint.

The actress will portray Laura, a character who snitches on her family’s organized crime business. When a dangerous cousin takes issue with this move, Laura turns to the FBI.
As Fancast.com reports, Giacomo’s character will also be keeping a secret that could compromise her safety within the Witness Protection Program.

One of our favorite boozing TV detectives, Grace Hanadarko, is back in action on 'Saving Grace' (Mon., March 29 at 10Pm Et on TNT) and we've got an exclusive clip from the final season's premiere.
In the season premiere, Grace (Holly Hunter) meets a mysterious stranger and takes him home from church. A concerned Rhetta (Laura San Giacomo) consults the always dependable Internet and finds Grace's mysterious new beau hasn't been very truthful. What does she find? The star of the TNT series talks about the show's final episodes
One of the TNT network's hit shows, Saving Grace, is coming to a close this year. The series will conclude with a fourth and final season of nine episodes that stars airing on Monday, March 29 at 10 Pm Et on TNT. The star of the show, Holly Hunter, recently held a conference call to discuss this series coming to an end, and here's what she had to say.
What would you like people to remember about Saving Grace?
Holly Hunter: What they will. I mean, I think people can take away very different things from this woman. I really kind of felt like I wanted to conduct my own exploration of her and I guess the thing that I wanted to do was ask questions that were interesting.
