Denise Richards Meets Kidney Cancer Survivors

Actress Denise Richards was overcome with emotion after meeting two kidney cancer survivors on Wednesday.
Bosses at the Kidney Cancer Association invited the former Bond girl and her father Irv to have lunch with the families of two patients who have battled the illness.
Richards agreed to support the organisation as she lost her mum Joni to the disease on 1 December, 2007, and the meet-up proved to be a moving experience for the Love Actually star and her dad.
Taking to her Twitter.com page, Richards writes, "Having lunch... with 2 families (of) kidney cancer survivors. So grateful Kidney Cancer Association put this together for us. My mom passed away four years ago from it... it's really hard.
"Spent the afternoon with two families dealing with kidney cancer. I lost my mom to this disease.. my dad & I were moved by their journey." »

Tyler Perry stumbled onto a goldmine when he got the idea of dressing up in drag as a feisty woman named Madea, and the southern belle (?) is tackling the Big Apple in Madea’s Witness Protection.
I am a Huge fan of the Madea films and Perry continues to show his comic talent in this latest adventure that pairs Madea with American Reunion’s Eugene Levy as a nice guy that suddenly discovers he was laundering money for the Mafia. Levy and his family can’t be placed in regular witness protection so they’re forced to hide out with Madea. However, this film adds a twist by taking her out of her element and sending her to New York. The Big Apple will never be the same again.

Even a high-speed collision with a mighty locomotive can’t stop Charlie Sheen, who’s set to return to TV this June on FX’s Anger Management. The second teaser for his new series pokes fun at Sheen’s storied reputation by showing Sheen walking away from a literal train wreck unscathed — then saying, with a smirk, “Come on. Everyone deserves a 24th chance.”
This is the second Anger Management teaser that neglects to include footage from the show itself. FX’s decision to advertise its sitcom this way is a little curious, considering how well Anger tested in a preview screening. »

Fox ordered four new series last night, but its the show’s titles that had some viewers buzzing.
Mindy Kaling’s comedy about a “Bridget Jones-type” single woman has been officially untitled for months, though some reports have used the title Mindy. Unless you’re Seinfeld, it’s tough to pull off the vanity sitcom title, so trying something else is a good idea. Here’s Fox’s choice: It’s Messy.
It’s sort of like Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, but suggests clothes on the floor and possible spills. Plus, Kaling plays an Ob-gyn on the show so … yeah. »
