Before the release of the film Kambakkht Ishq, much ink was spilled about the Hollywood cast that the film has. With any luck, Tom Felton’s Twitter application of choice will follow him over the border into the United States as he heads to the New York premiere for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” He posted another pic in the Twitter-Wood feed today to announce that he is heading south for his next stop on the premiere circuit.
Newcomer to our feed Kristen Bell vehemently defended her authenticity today, so I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt that this recommendation for “My Sister’s Keeper” is for real. Mandy Moore also tweeted in with her reactions to “The King of Kong.” She actually split her thoughts over two tweets, so I stitched them together for your reading convenience. Click on down and you’ll find these fine critiques along with John Favreau’s early morning Mexican cravings and Rainn Wilson’s run-in with George Foreman.

Kambakkht Ishq is the first full on Bollywood movie I.ve ever seen. You.d think someone as passionate about film as I am would have explored this dense world by now, but perhaps I just needed friends like Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh to hold me hand on this brave new journey. They only have cameos but it got me into a screening.
Review: Kambakkht Ishq
The plot is really like a gimmicky Hollywood romantic comedy, only with awesome dance numbers. Perhaps that is the solution to Matthew McConaughey.s ouvre. Basically it.s How to Lose Your Sister.s Guy in Hollywood. Womanizing stuntman Viraj (Akshay Kumar) and bitterly independent surgical intern Simrita (Kareena Kapoor) want to prove to their siblings that they can.t count on love, so they sabotage each other.s in-laws.
It.s a concept as high as any Hollywood movie, but far less pretentious.

Director: Sabir Khan
Screenwriters: Sabir Khan, Ishita Moitra, Anvita Dutt Guptan
Starring: Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards, Brandon Routh, Aftab Shivdasani, Amrita Arora
Running time: 138 mins
Certificate: 12A Bollywood meets Hollywood in this entertaining if formulaic comedy featuring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor. The pair are reunited for the first time since last year's Tashan proved a rare critical and commercial failure for Kumar, with further doubts being raised over his status as India's most bankable actor after both Chandni Chowk To China and 8 x 10 Tasveer flopped at the box office. Debutant director Sabir Khan's star-studded film is unlikely to suffer a similar fate, despite failing to build on an opening that offers a striking vision of modern Bollywood (more)
