The Gimp Unleashed: Pulp Fiction’s Creepy Bondage Slave Tells All

10 October 2014 8:30 AM, PDT | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

“Hello. This is the Gimp. I hear you’ve been looking for me?” In one of the strangest moments in Pulp Fiction, the two pawnshop rapists who have kidnapped boxer Butch Coolidge (played by Bruce Willis) and crime-lord Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames) task a leather-clad bondage slave — “well, bring out the Gimp ...” — with watching over Butch as they set about to violate Marsellus in a separate area of their basement dungeon that is also referred to, cryptically, as “Russell’s old room.” The Gimp didn’t make for much of a security guard, but the character certainly made an impression on Pulp Fiction fans, in part because of all the mystery surrounding him. Who is this masked man? Why is he helping these sadists? What on Earth was this guy thinking? To get answers to these and other burning Gimp-related questions, we looked around for the actor who played him »

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"White Collar" star Tim DeKay has been cast as Senator Christian Ward, the brother of Agent Grant Ward in the second season of ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.".

The Grant Ward character revealed last season his brother would force him to beat up their younger brother. DeKay will make an appearance in the sixth episode this season. [Source: EW]

Simon McBurney Enlisted For Mission: Impossible 5

2 October 2014 12:22 PM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

In franchise terms, the three years between Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and upcoming sequel Mission: Impossible 5, is a whopping gap. Paramount Pictures and Skydance’s decision to wait until the perfect line-up was assembled is a gamble that seems to be paying off. As the follow-up continues its shoot, Variety has the news of another pawn added to the espionage mix: Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy‘s Simon McBurney.

So far we’ve little to go on in terms of story for the fifth instalment, which makes the details of McBurney’s role redundant. According to Variety, he’ll play the boss of franchise newcomer, Rebecca Ferguson. The report re-confirms the addition of Prometheus star Sean Harris to the cast, who’s reportedly on board to play the movie’s big bad. Alec Baldwin is also attached in an undisclosed role.

He’s in negotiations to join the cast of Mission: Impossible 5.Christopher McQuarrie is calling the shots on the latest outing for Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his increasingly improbable escapades. ‘Mission: Impossible 5′ Set Images Offer First Look at Rebecca Ferguson

29 September 2014 9:05 AM, PDT | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Tom Cruise’s most recent films (Jack Reacher, Oblivion, Edge of Tomorrow) have all been moderately successful at the box office, though his ticket sales ought to jump back up with Mission: Impossible 5 next year. Production on this next installment in the covert operative action franchise has now moved to London, under the direction of Oscar-winner Christopher McQuarrie – making his fourth professional collaboration with Cruise overall.

The Mission: Impossible 5 cast also includes Jeremy Renner – who became a part of the franchise starting with director Brad Bird’s Ghost Protocol – as well as Simon Pegg (a Mission: Impossible staple since the third installment) and Ving Rhames, who’s been along for the ride (with Cruise) since the ...

First Look At Rebecca Ferguson On The Set Of Mission: Impossible 5

28 September 2014 10:19 AM, PDT | ComicBookMovie.com | See recent ComicBookMovie news »

Rebecca Ferguson is set to be the female lead in 2015's Mission: Impossible 5 and we finally have a decent look at the British actress - who recently appeared in Hercules - on the set.  The image obviously doesn't reveal too much about the character she'll be playing and a lot of the Christopher McQuarrie (the Jack Reacher director takes over from Brad Bird) helmed movie is still shrouded in secrecy. As a result, any sort of plot details are completely unknown as of right now.  Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames and Scott Pegg return with newcomers like Alex Baldwin and Sean Harris. The movie will be released on December 25th, just one week after Star Wars Episode VII! You'll have to head over to ComingSoon.net to see the full gallery of images, including a look at Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in the background of where these »

Jeremy Renner Updates on 'Avengers 2', 'Bourne 5' and 'Mission 5'

26 September 2014 12:40 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

While doing press for his upcoming thriller Kill the Messenger, Jeremy Renner offered a few updates on his upcoming projects Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mission: Impossible 5 and the sequel to 2012's The Bourne Legacy in an interview with Access Hollywood.

When asked about Avengers: Age of Ultron, which recently wrapped production, Jeremy Renner hints that everything will be bigger in the sequel, without giving away any specific plot details.

"I think everything that worked in the first one is exponentially going to be better in this one. I think the comedic relief, I think the action, is going to be bigger. There is more time spent with all of the Avengers together as a unit on and off the clock, if you will, which is actually really fun. A lot of secrets are revealed and more secrets are posed."

Tom Cruise Has Already Started Filming 'Mission: Impossible 5' (Photo)

12 September 2014 9:00 AM, PDT | Moviefone | See recent Moviefone news »

It seems appropriate that spy actioner "Mission: Impossible 5" started filming on the sly earlier this week. Director Christopher McQuarrie tweeted a photo of Jeremy Renner, Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhames on the set of "M:I5" with the caption "The team is back," and his use of the hashtag #MI5diary leads us to believe this won't be the last Bts pic we'll see from McQuarrie. (Jeremy Renner posted an almost identical photo on his Facebook page, which is cool and all, but it's not quite as epic as Vin Diesel's video of dancing alone to Beyoncé.)

Soon after confirming reports of Sean Harris’ involvement in the upcoming sequel, Christopher MacQuarrie took to Twitter to reveal the first set photo for Mission: Impossible 5.

Essentially, the image features the film’s returning A-Team of sorts, with Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner and of course, Ethan Hunt himself, Tom Cruise, all posing for a snap.

Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson and Sean Harris as the aforementioned big bad are also set to star in the anticipated spy thriller, though it appears the trio were either camera shy or just not present during the first day on set — we suspect the latter.

Mission: Impossible 5 marks the first entry into the franchise with Christopher MacQuarrie at the helm. Mind you, given the screenwriter-cum-director’s work with Cruise on Jack Reacher »

18 Years Later, Here's What Tom Cruise And Ving Rhames Look Like On The Mission: Impossible 5 Set

11 September 2014 8:16 PM, PDT | cinemablend.com | See recent Cinema Blend news »

Believe it or not, it was a full 18 years ago that the big screen Mission: Impossible franchise got underway. It was all the way back in 1996 that director Brian De Palma first introduced us Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt and Ving Rhames' Luther Stickell, and the characters have been come back again and again in the years since. And while Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol kind of shortchanged us on the Ethan/Luther relationship, the good news is that problem is going to be repaired in Christopher McQuarrie's upcoming Mission: Impossible 5, as previewed in the special Tweet below.
