Carrie Bradshaw would be proud! Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted on vacation with hubby Matthew Broderick and friends on Wednesday, while wearing one sexy swimsuit as she enjoyed the warm weather and blue waters on an island outside of Ibiza. The 50-year-old beauty looked fit and fabulous as she was photographed walking out of the ocean and onto their yacht wearing a chic olive-colored one-piece suit. Parker definitely has one amazing physique -- it's crazy to think she's had three children with that hot bod! Sjp and Broderick were also joined by businessman Barry Diller, his wife, designer Diane Von Furstenberg, CNN reporter Anderson Cooper and Cooper's partner Benjamin Maisani. Before heading into the water for a swim, the "Sex and the City" star engaged in some light physical activity opting for a hike with Diller and the designer. While Sarah's admitted in the past that she does have to work hard to stay fit, »

Sarah Jessica Parker hit the beach in a sleek one-piece swimsuit during her vacation in Ibiza on Wednesday. The actress, who turned 50 in March, looked better than ever while hiking, swimming, and lounging on a yacht around the island with fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg; Diane's husband, Barry Diller; and a group of friends. While it didn't appear that Sarah Jessica's husband, Matthew Broderick, was on the trip, we recently got a glimpse of the couple during a date night on Broadway earlier this month. They stepped out for the opening-night performance of Hamilton, where Sarah Jessica posed for photos with Girls star Allison Williams. It was also recently announced that Sarah Jessica will be starring in and executive producing the comedy series Divorce, which is slated to premiere on HBO next Summer. Keep reading to see Sjp's day on the beach, then check out the biggest fashion lessons we've »
Looking good, Sjp! While on vacation in Ibiza, Spain this week with Bff Andy Cohen and friends, Sarah Jessica Parker flaunted her killer beach body in a sexy swimsuit. The 50-year-old actress looked fit, thin and toned in a skintight, dark one-piece while soaking up the sun. The former Sex and the City star looked half her age after swimming in the Spanish waters and hanging out with pals on Barry Diller's luxurious yacht. How insane is Sjp's impressive figure?! In addition to swimming, tanning and flaunting her hot body, Parker was also spotted hiking on the sand with Diller's wife and E! star Diane von Furstenberg. Sjp's hubby Matthew Broderick wasn't able to join »
After all, she's on a boat! Sarah Jessica Parker stunned in a sexy one-piece bathing suit during a yacht getaway in the luxurious Mediterranean island of Ibiza this week. The Sex and the City star, 50, showed off her slim and toned physique in a curve-hugging black swimsuit by Malia Mills featuring spaghetti straps. Parker, a mom of three, was snapped enjoying the sun and the sea, occasionally cooling down in the Mediterranean with fresh dips in the water. The fashion icon has been enjoying her luxurious vacation [...] »
Apparently, that giant photo of Sarah Jessica Parker almost didn't end up on the side of that New York City bus. Sarah Jessica Parker almost didn't star in Sex and the City...by choice, according to Seth Rudetsky. In his weekly column posted on Playbill this week, the Sirius Xm radio host and Broadway performer, who recently performed with the actress and her husband Matthew Broderick in the Broadway @ Town Hall show in Provincetown, Massachussetts, talked about what he said she told him regarding her concerns about the HBO hit series. "We, of course, talked about Sex and The City and turns out, she was reluctant to do the pilot »

Imagine what might not have been! According to Broadway veteran Seth Rudetsky, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed that when she was first approached, she wanted nothing to do with her fashion-forward HBO series, Sex in the City. In fact, she even tried to bargain her way out of her contract! "[Sarah Jessica] was reluctant to do the pilot because she didn't really want to do a series," Rudetsky, who recently starred with the actress and her husband, Matthew Broderick, in a play at Provincetown's Town Hall in Mass., [...] »
Divorced women may be TV's next big trend. Lifetime has renewed Marti Noxon's "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce," starring Lisa Edelstein, while Sarah Jessica Parker will make her small-screen return in a HBO comedy simply titled "Divorce." Now two more television major leaguers are embracing life after marriage. Producers Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers are developing a divorce comedy for ABC with "Trophy Wife" creators Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins. "Splitsville" will focus on the residents of a suburban cul-de-sac who join forces to raise their kids and support one another after a series of divorces in the neighborhood. Halpern and Haskins will write the pilot and Ep with Rhimes and Beers. Meanwhile, the power duo's Shondaland will have on its fall schedule the Thursday night block of "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal," "How to Get Away With Murder" and new series "The Catch," starring...

Life Coach: Mills’ Debut a Showcase for Own Multi-talents
Toronto based filmmaker Pat Mills makes his directorial debut with Guidance, a dark hearted comedy that gets a lot of traction from exaggerated, inappropriate behavior draping its endearing core. Aping the hook of Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), Mills manages to surpass David Spade’s limitations with a basic premise that has a myriad of possibilities, and, as far as comedies hinged on adults behaving badly goes, Mills’ film works on a variety of entertaining levels. Director, screenwriter, and star, his strongest asset happens to be himself in an entertaining performance that is as unabashedly off-putting as it is strangely empathetic. His onscreen persona manages to help us overlook some of the film’s minor sleights to the development of supporting characters necessary for the attempted third act pathos. Nevertheless, this is an impressionable first feature, one deserving of attention as »

Time to give credit where it's due: Among all of the best dressed ladies on the red carpet this week, Cushnie et Ochs was distinctively the favored designer. Starting off with Jenna Dewan-Tatum, the relatively new design house (founded in 2008, mind you) draped the actress in a sleek white midi with stringy cutout details. Cushnie et Ochs earned another nod later this week with Priyanka Chopra's svelte teal number with a plunging neckline and up-to-there slit. One red-carpet-regular designer proved yet again why his timeless gowns are always in style, with Elie Sabb stepping up to dress Sarah Jessica Parker in an enchanting, crystal-embellished gown. Finishing off the week on a playful note, »
Sarah Jessica Parker channeled her iconic Sex and the City character during a date night with husband Matthew Broderick in NYC on Thursday night. The couple walked the red carpet for the opening night of the Broadway musical Hamilton and showed sweet Pda on the red carpet before taking in the performance. Inside, Sarah Jessica - who stunned in a low-cut emerald-green Elie Saab gown - also linked up with Girls star Allison Williams, which is especially funny considering Sjp is so not a Marnie. It's no secret that Sarah Jessica and Matthew are huge Broadway fans and followers; over the course of their 18-year marriage, they've starred in five and 13 productions, respectively. While Matthew is scheduled to hit the stage in October for the show Sylvia, Sarah Jessica's upcoming project has her returning to television, and specifically HBO. She'll be starring in and executive producing the comedy series Divorce, »
AMC’s “Mad Men” has two chances to make Emmy history this September. If it wins a fifth award for drama, the series would set an all-time record in the category. It would also become one of the precious few dramas to win an Emmy for its final season.
Bagging a farewell victory may seem like a cinch; AMC’s other crown jewel, “Breaking Bad,” managed it just last year. The final season of HBO’s “The Sopranos” accomplished it in 2007 (with “Mad Men” creator Matthew Weiner on staff, no less).
But before those touchstones of TV’s current Golden Era? You have to go back to 1977, when the PBS import “Upstairs, Downstairs” won the top prize for its swan song. Prior to that, no long-running drama had pulled it off.

We may not have a straight answer for what's going on with Sex and the City 3, but there is news about another highly anticipated Sarah Jessica Parker project. Divorce, the comedy series on HBO that Sjp is starring in and executive producing, has an update. At HBO's Summer TCA day, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo told us where they are with the show: It's being written now, and it will premiere next year, in "either Summer or Fall." Hey, it's not exactly a Sex and the City sequel, but Sjp + HBO + comedy series? It might as well be, in terms of our excitement! »
HBO Programming President Michael Lombardo defended the second season of “True Detective” in light of critical second-guessing, and expressed support for the network’s hit “Game of Thrones” regarding scenes of sexual violence that have provoked criticism.
Lombardo, in what he billed Thursday as his first solo outing at the TV Critics Assn. tour without network chief Richard Plepler, seemed well-prepared for both questions, given some of the complaining, most recently, about “Detective’s” current run.
The executive joked that he had returned from vacation to learn that some critics had voiced their displeasure with “True Detective,” but he gave a vote of confidence to writer/showrunner Nic Pizzolatto and said he would be eager to hear his plans for a third season. “I think he takes a big swing,” Lombardo said, adding that he has seen the final episodes and “I’m enormously proud of it. … I think he’s a spectacular writer. »

I have written previously in this space about my unabashed adoration of Howard Stern, but even casual fans know that the King of All Media's skillful long-form interviewing style is one of his most enduring qualities. He conducts hard-hitting interrogations that feel like casual conversations, leading normally guarded celebrities to offer revelations and opinions they would probably never utter in another forum. This year alone, he has helped draw out newsworthy bites from a number of big stars, and with 2015 more than half over, I thought I'd recap the wildest, most revealing quotes that have come out of Studio 69 in the past six months and change (with attendant clips). Here we go... 1. Jason Alexander tells the real story behind Susan's "Seinfeld" demise Date: June 3 Behind-the-scenes dish on famous TV shows never gets old, and Alexander's tidbit about actress Heidi Swedberg (who played George's ill-fated fiancee Susan) was particularly juicy. If Carrie Bradshaw had been a handbag girl, one of these certainly would have been her It-Clutch. Manolo Blahnik has announced a new evening clutch collection that will hark to the elegant pump and sandal designs that made his brand iconic. A footwear favorite of Anna Wintour and Sarah Jessica Parker (the latter's turn as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City made the line a household name), the Blahnik brand has, until now, been focused on elevating the shoe game of the style elite. The new collection is as luxe as they come, with certain clutch styles paying obvious homage to the highly coveted "Hangisi" style (a satin d'Orsay pump featuring a bejeweled buckle that became an almost instant bridal »
Sarah Jessica Parker has impeccable fashion credentials and her love for style is rubbing off on her twin daughters.
The girls, Marion and Tabitha, 6, are already poking around in their mom's fabulous closet.
"They did the other day," Sarah Jessica told Access Hollywood guest correspondent Scott Evans. "They had my Kindle, they had some shoes of mine, they had my bracelets, my wedding ring on and a pair of my sunglasses and were telling me they had to run to a meeting."

Since Ellen Page stunned us with her diabolical smarts in "Hard Candy" and her straightforward drollness in "Juno," we haven't gotten to see the Oscar-nominated actress in many movies that live up to her compelling charms. Remember "Smart People" with Sarah Jessica Parker? No? Do you ever think about her exposition-spewing character Ariadne in "Inception"? What about the time Woody Allen wasted her (and Judy Davis!) in "To Rome with Love"? Enough is enough. A new trailer just debuted for "Freeheld," a drama about a real-life woman named Laurel Hester (played here by Julianne Moore) who was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and fought to ensure that her pension benefits would be passed along to her partner Stacie (Page). The trailer is gripping; watch it at Buzzfeed. (We'll add it here when an embeddable version is released.) Last year when Page came out as a lesbian at a Human Rights Campaign event, »

How dramatically is the world changing for Hollywood’s largest talent agencies? Three words: Professional Bull Riders.
Wme/Img’s acquisition in April of the Pueblo, Colo.-based sports outfit underscores how talent agencies are searching far and wide beyond the traditional film, TV and music arenas for new profit sources.
The Pbr produces more than 300 bull-riding competitions a year around the world, making it a natural partner for Img’s event-management and promotion operations. It also makes money by selling media rights and branding opportunities to its various events, which complements Img’s sponsorship and media sales divisions. In other words, the bull-busting stars are a perfect fit with the new-model Wme/Img.
Abe Lastfogel, the late, storied leader of William Morris Agency from the 1930s through the ’60s, might have shuddered at the idea of rodeo roughnecks roaming his halls. But Uncle Abe didn’t have to make a living in 21st-century Hollywood. »
