Together-yet-not and better than ever? Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, who seem to be together just as much since they consciously uncoupled as they were in the 10 years prior to their separation, enjoyed another family dinner together in the Hamptons earlier this week. The actress and the Coldplay frontman took daughter Apple and son Moses to Bay Kitchen Bar in East Hampton on Monday night, a source tells E! News. "The were in good spirits and looked like a very happy family," an eyewitness said. In keeping with Gwyneth's dietary proclivities, the foursome dined on calamari and fresh sea-to-table seafood and finished off with ice cream for dessert as they watched the sun go »

The actor explained why he almost passed on the role of Aldrich Killian in the Marvel Studios blockbuster.
Pearce insisted on reading the script before he signed on, despite Marvel's policy of keeping them closely guarded.
"My agent was certainly very excited by the prospect of Iron Man 3, and I knew it would be seen by a lot more people [than my previous films were]," Pearce told Total Film.
"When I watched the first one, I thought, 'Wow, there's something different here'. Shane [Black], who directed the third, had been a fan of mine, apparently.

Guy Pearce's role in Iron Man 3 attracted a lot of controversy. As weapons designer Aldrich Killian, he provided a threat to Tony Stark that left the board room and entered the real world, before revealing his relationship to the Mandarin. It was a chaotic turn, one that emphasized not only Pearce's oily handsomeness and charisma, but also his intimidating intellectualism and bloodthirsty conviction. Pearce has starred in a number of films over the years, but it's not a surprise that in a recent interview, he hints at difficulties adjusting to the "Marvel way." In an interview with Total Film (via JoBlo ), Guy Pearce claims he was very close to bailing on Iron Man 3 for a very specific reason. He confesses that his agent promoted the mainstream appeal of the Marvel movies, and Pearce says he loves what Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow did in the previous films. »
While he's not generally opposed to the idea, Guy Pearce rarely goes down the path of blockbuster tentpoles, preferring to work with interesting directors and weighty material. But he's an open-minded dude, and so when Marvel came calling for him to play the slimy Aldrich Killian in "Iron Man 3," he took the meeting. But as the actor explained to Total Film, he had some conditions before signing on. "My agent was certainly very excited by the prospect of 'Iron Man 3,' and I knew it would be seen by a lot more people [than my previous films were]," Pearce explained. "But for me, it was just a case of going, 'Well, this will be fun. I like Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow and I like what they did before." "When I watched the first one, I thought, 'Wow, there's something different here.' Shane [Black], who directed the third, had been a fan of mine, »

The new deal includes “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Parts 1 & 2,” starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson; the action comedy “Mortdecai,” starring Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow and Ewan McGregor; and the “Power Rangers” franchise films. “Mockingjay 1″ will be the first title in the new deal with its Nov. 20 release in Germany.
The companies said Lionsgate’s feature film slate is part of Studiocanal Germany’s new multiyear agreement with the ProSiebenSat.1 Group under which ProSieben has licensed exclusive TV rights to Lionsgate feature films for its free TV channels in Germany, Austria and German-speaking Switzerland.
The companies had announced an extension of their existing output deal in 2012.

It’s like Taylor saw all of our secret dreams and made them a reality over Independence Day weekend. At least we can go out and buy our own Slip'n Slide.

In a recent interview with Total Film magazine, Guy Pearce spoke about how he turned down roles in such comic book films as "Daredevil" and "Batman Begins," and why he eventually decided to take the main villain role in "Iron Man 3." "My agent was certainly very excited by the prospect of 'Iron Man 3,' and I knew it would be seen by a lot more people [than my previous films did]," he explained. "But for me, it was just a case of going, 'Well, this will be fun. I like Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow and I like what they did before. Guy Pearce recently explained to Total Film magazine that he previously "fought to keep away from the bigger films," including roles in Daredevil and Batman Begins, because he foresaw "corners getting cut off" and/or he just wasn't taken by the project offered. Obviously, the English-Australian actor made an exception for Marvel's Iron Man 3, and admits it was "very much" fun to play the villain Aldrich Killian, but the Shane Black-directed actioner was almost another film he passed on. "My agent was certainly very excited by the prospect of Iron Man 3, and I knew it would be seen by a lot more people [than my previous films did]," said Guy Pearce, when asked why he was intrigued by the Marvel film... at first. "But for me, it was just a case of going, 'Well, this will be fun. I like Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow and I like what they did before. »
