People view the quality of movies on a spectrum from bad to good, but there is a noted phenomenon that occurs every now and again. There are cases of extremely bad films crossing from the "bad" margin to an area where all of the sudden audiences start enjoying the film in an unintended manner. These movies are described as so bad that it's actually good. In honor of new awesomely bad releases Battleship and Dark Shadows, here are the top six awesomely bad movies kids can see.
Battleship (2012)
Following in line of the rich history of board game movies like...uhhhh...Clue, Battleship certainly has a lot of expectations. Fortunately, it lived up to its fairly ridiculous plotline. Filled with plenty of absurd plot holes, over the top CGI, and a Wa-of-the-Worlds style of poor forethought and engineering on the aliens part; Battleship forgoes logic to instead make expensive set pieces blow up. »

An Australian film centred around Brits Down Under has been picked up for UK and Irish distribution.
Negotiated by Arclight Films, A Few Best Men will be released across Britain and Ireland at the end of August by Buena Vista International.
Directed by Priscilla: Queen of the Desert’s Stephan Elliott, A Few Best Men is about three British best men visiting Nsw’s Blue Mountains to support their friend as he marries into a rich Australian political family.
Producer Laurence Malkin said: “It’s great to see a comedy travel so well. The reaction is similar to what we had on Death at a Funeral. Dean, Stephan, and the entire cast and crew have created a hilarious and universal comedy that really speaks to audiences worldwide.”
Gary Hamilton of Arclight Films said: “We’re thrilled at the film’s international success and the box office numbers A Few Best Man is bringing in. »

Season 3 of "Glee" (Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Et on Fox) is still going strong, but next season is already looking good. Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson will both guest star on "Glee" Season 4.
There are not many details about Parker and Hudson's characters at this point, but Fox revealed that Hudson will join "Glee" for a six episode arc.
Both actresses do have prior singing experience. Parker got her start on Broadway long before her Carrie Bradshaw days. The Emmy winner also appeared as Rusty in "Footloose," with Kevin Bacon. Oscar nominated Hudson famously sang "Cinema Italiano" in Rob Marshall's all-star movie musical "Nine."
The leading ladies are hardly the first famous faces to appear on "Glee": Gwyneth Paltrow, Britney Spears, Carol Burnett, Kristen Chenoweth, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathy Griffin, Jonathan Groff, Ricky Martin, Idina Menzel, Olivia Newton-John, John Stamos and Neil Patrick Harris made guest appearances on the show. »

A few months ago we tracked down ten of our favorite celebrities from years past to see what they we're up to. We were in the mood to reminisce further, so today we're happy to bring you ten more!
Famous for his roles in Bachelor Party, Grease 2 (maybe that’s infamous?) and TV’s Tj Hooker and hosting Dance Fever, Zmed hasn’t had many acting credits in recent years. Now 58, he’s lately concentrated on theater work and appearing on board Princess Cruise ships in a singing and dancing review.
The erstwhile Justin Taylor from Showtime’s Queer as Folk (2000-2005) will be featured in a small role as a waiter in the upcoming comedy Gayby and is currently half of a two-actor cast starring in a touring production of the play Red, which recently ran at the Cleveland Play House. The singer, 63, on friendship with John Travolta, doing the laundry – and being the daughter of an MI5 man
You don't really ever know your parents. My mother was German – she'd moved to the UK before the Second World War [she was part Jewish] – and my dad was in the Raf. They only stopped speaking in German to one another after the war ended and I was born. It was only 30 years later that I found out my father had been an MI5 officer.
I got lucky. The success I've had still surprises me. I wasn't particularly ambitious. I was really relaxed about it all – there were lots of singers and actors around who "wanted it" more than I did.
Grease was a life-changing experience that I'm reminded of constantly. The best thing I took from it is lifelong friendships – John [Travolta] and I are still mates to this day.
My mother always said: "Never rely »

Here’s the first crazy trailer for Buena Vista International’s new movie, A Few Best Men. The trailer does away rather a lot and I’m really hoping that they haven’t too much into it so that when you see the entire thing, you already know exactly what’s going to happen.
A Few Best Men stars Xavier Samuel, Kris Marshall, Kevin Bishop, Rebel Wilson and Olivia Newton-John. It’s out in UK cinemas 31st August 2012.
Prepare to meet the worst best men ever in the outrageous comedy A Few Best Men, starring Xavier Samuel (Twilight: Eclipse), Kris Marshall (Love Actually), Kevin Bishop (TV’s Star Stories), Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids) and Olivia Newton-John (Grease).
When David (Xavier Samuel) journeys to Australia to marry the love of his life, Mia, he invites his three best mates – Graham (Kevin Bishop), Luke (Tim Draxl) and Tom (Kris Marshall) – to travel with him. »

Once upon a time I wrote a column called "Bad Movies We Love," and I feel close enough to you to admit that -- actually? -- I don't love bad movies. I would rather watch something good, weirdly. I'm sensitive when it comes to reserving time for woefully bad cinema, and that's why I want to help kick off your summer with the essential gay stinkbombs. Summer is the best time to gather your friends at 11 a.m. on a Saturday, gather around the thespian sorcery of Elizabeth Berkley, and cry, cry, and laugh until you're whole. Let's celebrate the worst of the best of the worst!
10. Chastity
Though not as renowned a misfire as the later totems on my list, Chastity is one of the weirdest film debuts ever -- particularly for a splashy firebrand like Cher -- and therefore it's essential viewing. More than a full decade before »

Although "Grease" star Olivia Newton-John has had a career that spans decades, she knows that she'll always be seen as Sandy.
“It is so loved by people,” Newton-John said about the iconic film. “I was actually nervous to do the part because I had made a movie in England that was a bit of a disaster. I asked if I could do a screen test to make sure I could pull it off. I was all of 29 and was worried I couldn’t look 18. You look back now and go, "What?" But at the time, it's all relative.”
But 34 years after she first put on those skintight, black leather pants, Newton-John has a few ideas in mind about who could play Sandy 2.0.
“Someone asked me that last night and I said Taylor Swift,” she said. “But my daughter would be exceptional at that role. She sings my songs so well. »

Olivia Newton-John believes in leading a balanced lifestyle without the help of fad diets. Instead of hopping from diet to diet, Olivia feeds her body whatever it asks for.
"I've never been one for faddy diets," she said. "I have tried vegetarianism, and I've done the macrobiotic thing, but I believe now in just being balanced. If my body asks for meat, I give it meat."
Olivia's regular diet consists of lots of legumes like chickpeas and borlotti beans. She has also started eating organic food and stays hydrated with lots of water. At 63-years-old, Olivia says she feels "the healthiest [I] ever have."

Lindsay Lohan, having hit rock bottom after doing her Playboy spread, Lindsay Lohan is still making huge strides to make a career comeback, with her next step being guest-starring on an episode of Glee. While she may have appeared on SNL already this year, this will be her first scripted television job since appearing on ABC’s Ugly Betty back in 2008. What do you guys think? Is Lohan ready to get back on television and do some legitimate acting?
I’m not entirely convinced, and it’s possible Lindsay isn’t either. TVLine reported she would appear in one of the final episodes of Glee’s third season, but she would be playing herself. That’s hardly what I would call a hard day’s work, but it’s certainly a starting point for Lohan. Hopefully she won’t be doing this type of gig forever. She needs to start »

Lucy Lawless ("Spartacus," "Xena"), Robyn Malcolm ("Rake," "Outrageous Fortune") and Jay Ryan ("Sea Patrol," "Neighbours") have all joined the cast of Jane Campion's six-part mini-series "Top Of The Lake".
Elisabeth Moss plays a detective who loses herself investigating the disappearance of the 12-year-old pregnant daughter of a local drug lord in remote, mountainous New Zealand. David Wenham, Peter Mullan and Holly Hunter also star. [Source: The Playlist]
The fifth season premiere of AMC period drama "Mad Men" averaged 3.5 million viewers (1.6 million adults 18-49), up 21% from Season 4′s debut and the series’ largest audience ever. An additional 900,000 watched the 11 Pm encore.
That number however is a far cry from the record-breaking season finale of "The Walking Dead" the other week which pulled in 9 million viewers. [Source: Deadline]

"Glee" is enlisting two famous faces for the latter half of Season 3. According to new reports, both Whoopi Goldberg and Lindsay Lohan are scheduled to appear on the Fox hit.
Goldberg has booked herself an extremely important guest arc, reports TVLine. The actress and "View" co-host will head to Lima, Ohio as Carmen Tibideaux, a New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts professor who's in charge of Kurt and Rachel's Nyada auditions. She'll appear in three episodes starting May 1, and will definitely inform the hopefuls of the school's decision.
Meanwhile, Lohan's role is much smaller -- and has a twist. She's reportedly in talks to guest-star as a judge at Nationals -- as herself. The judge cameo role has been filled by the likes of Josh Groban and Olivia Newton John before her, and as far as egregious "Glee" cameos go, actually seems quite realistic. This is the type of »

Lindsay Lohan reportedly wasn't pleased when she was slammed "en espanol" on "Glee" in 2011, but the actress apparently doesn't have any leftover hard feelings. She's heading to McKinley High.
On Tuesday, a rep for the actress confirmed to Access Hollywood that Lindsay will appear in an upcoming episode of "Glee."
As first reported by TV Line, Lindsay will play herself.
She will join the drama, serving as a celebrity judge at Nationals.
Lindsay won't be the first celebrity to serve as a judge. Both Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John played themselves, serving as Regionals judges.

With Smash making me feel less insecure about watching a musical TV series, since it's much more mature and adult-oriented, I've basically only given Glee a small amount of attention and not much thought. However, some new guest stars should make for an interesting turn this season. TV Line has two different reports that reveal both Whoopi Goldberg and Lindsay Lohan will show up on the series before the third season ends. If you don't want to know any details about their characters, do not continue reading after the jump. While Lohan will merely have a guest spot on the final episode as a celebrity judge at Nationals (joining previous names like Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John), Goldberg's role is actually more integral to the series. The regular on The View will actually be in multiple episodes as Carmen Tibideaux, a theatrical grande dame and a professor at New York »

Lindsay Lohan is apparently forging ahead with her latest comeback as she finalizes a deal with Fox to appear as herself on the hit musical Glee.
Sources close to Lindsay confirm to The Insider that she's in final negotiations to guest star as a celebrity judge in an episode featuring the show's Nationals competition. The show has tapped past celebrity judge guest stars including Josh Groban and Olivia Newton-John.

The gig would mark Lindsay's first return to series TV since a 2008 appearance on the comedy Ugly Betty. With her past legal troubles seemingly behind her, the star is attempting to mount a comeback that she kicked off last month by hosting Saturday Night Live.
Lindsay's appearance on Glee would be ironic since her mother Dina famously lashed out at the show for mocking her daughter's trips to rehab. In the episode in question, Gwyneth Paltrow plays substitute »
