The wildly fun Nurse 3D (review) is coming home in April, and right now we've got the official word on what to expect once it gets here other than a 1080p look at Paz de la Huerta's commanding vagina.
From the Press Release
Sexy starlets Paz de la Huerta (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire,” Enter the Void) and Katrina Bowden (TV’s “30 Rock”) turn up the heat in the wickedly entertaining thriller Nurse, arriving on 3D Blu-ray (plus 2D Blu-ray and Digital HD UltraViolet), DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), and Digital HD April 8 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
The film is currently on Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View. The scintillating horror film about a nurse with a secret double life as a murderous vixen also stars Corbin Bleu (the High School Musical franchise) and Judd Nelson (St. Elmo’s Fire, The Breakfast Club).

The film industry was devastated by two recent deaths that have led to a movement to alter this Sunday’s “in memoriam” segment of the Oscar telecast: One was the natural causes passing of comedy filmmaker Harold Ramis, 69, and the other was the accidental death of camera assistant Sarah Jones, 27, who was struck by a train in Georgia while working on a biopic of rock musician Gregg Allman.
Ramis, the star of Ghostbusters and Stripes, and director of Vacation, Caddyshack, and Groundhog Day, died on Monday at his home in Chicago, while Jones, whose credits include Midnight Rambler (the film »

You love to hate them, you hate to love them. There is an irresistible quality to the bad men in film, whose dastardly ways lure you in and keep you rooting for them until the bitter end.
With the remake of 1981’s turbulent Endless Love out this Valentine’s Day, starring Alex Pettyfer as a boy in love with a criminal past, we celebrate some of cinema’s most notorious, sometimes misunderstood scoundrels and their paths to retribution.
Dir. John Hughes, 1985
Spending the majority of John Hughes’ fantastic teen film slumped over a desk and setting things on fire, Judd Nelson’s juvenile Bender is the definition of angst. Criminally minded, troubled and at times malicious, Hughes still urges you not to give up on him, with glimmers of a better person under that grubby coat and a victory that will have you punching the »

Winter Olympics correspondents don't come any fiercer than three-time U.S. National figure-skating champion Johnny Weir, who's bringing high fashion to the town of Sochi, Russia with a series of costumes outfits that wouldn't look out of place on the runways of Milan or in the "Hunger Games"' infamous Capitol (a reference he actually admitted to in a recent interview). Will his outrageous get-ups singlehandedly topple Putin's repressive anti-gay laws? Well, I like to think so, but then I also thought Judd Hirsch and Judd Nelson were the exact same person until about 4 hours ago. So no, the answer to that question would »

A home entertainment release looms for director Matt Hish and producer Autumn Federici's terrifying thriller Haunting of the Innocent. In the interim, the beautiful ladies of the film have completed a promotional photo shoot with some of the imagery from the film. Check 'em out!
From the Press Release
The haunted town horror feature Haunting of the Innocent was released through Redbox formats in late January and now director Matt Hish and producer Autumn Federici’s visually stunning film is getting set to haunt home video formats.
In anticipation of the home video launch, several cast members participated in a publicity shoot, consisting of Jessica Morris, Hannah Cowley, Autumn Federici, and Mariah Bonner. Each actress is dressed in dark attire, which is synchronous with the film’s dark mood. Some of the symbolic imagery from the trailer, a raven, is also shown with actress Cowley. The shoot took place »

Everything about Nurse 3D screams genuinely bonkers genre work, from Paz De La Huerta’s sensual modeling on the theatrical poster to the blood-soaked production stills released months ago, but absolutely nothing prepared me for Douglas Aarniokoski’s fun-filled look into the murderous life of a medical professional. Jam packed with limitless debauchery, gratuitous Tna, wacky narration, and splattery slayings showcasing enough blood to fill ten donor banks, not once are we given a movie that takes itself too seriously, and not once is there a lull in Paz De La Huerta’s consistently entertaining portrayal of a sultry psychopath apparently protesting panties. Nurse 3D succeeds as an erotic exploitation flick about cheating bastards and endearing character work – but it’s the explosive genre insanity that keeps our eyes glued to the screen.
Meet Abby (Paz De La Huerta) – a successful nurse whose nightly activities include seducing married men and »

Nurse 3D hits theaters and VOD today, and while it certainly isn’t a movie for everyone, fans of exploitation will love it. Paz de la Huerta plays Abby, a dedicated nurse by day, sexual predator by night. After a night of partying with her good-girl mentee Danni, Abby’s lust and attention turns from murdering cheating husbands to getting Danni back in bed. And she will kill anyone who gets in her way.
We spoke to director Doug Aarniokoski about exploitation, being in on the joke, and of course, all the sex and nudity.
This movie has been on the shelf for a number of years, hasn’t it?
Yes, it has. It’s a weird thing with this movie. The short answer is yes. We shot the movie, and when we had finished, Summit and Lionsgate hard merged companies, and it became one of those situations where Lionsgate »

If you've seen any of the marketing materials for the gleefully insane new horror movie Nurse 3D, then you probably know what you're in for: weird sex, graphic violence, and several familiar actors running through familiar motions before ending up gored on a rock or beheaded with a bone-saw. This is nothing resembling a deep, intellectual, or insightful horror flick. Nurse 3D is, however, quite a bit of good, gruesome fun if you enjoy "body count" horror combined with a basic but serviceable plot yanked straight out of Single White Female.
Paz de la Huerta plays a psychotic nurse who does fine work during the day, but kills philandering men at night. Given the gal's sinful body and amorous attitude, she doesn't have much trouble finding victims. But bloodthirsty Abby's activities are interrupted with the arrival of an adorable new nurse (Katrina Bowden), which kicks off a standard (but never »

While the story may not exactly win any points in the originality department, Nurse 3D successfully embraces its exploitatively sexy and sleazy demeanor with a wink and a nod, going for broke with such gonzo-style gusto that you just can’t help but admire the end result. For those of you who have been looking for the horror-fied version of Showgirls, Nurse 3D is your movie.
Nurse 3D follows model nurse Abby Russell (de la Huerta), who’s exactly the kind of nurse you want tending your bedside- that is, unless you’re a no-good, cheating husband. That’s when Abby gets a little angry and uses her medical training to off the cheaters of the world in a marvelously bloody and creative fashion. Her obsession with cheaters isn’t the only thing driving Abby- she’s also taken an extreme fancy to a nice new nurse at her hospital »

I don’t quite know why, but after Godzilla my most anticipated film this year would have to be Nurse 3D. Perhaps because it has taken so long to be released, and the posters taking on a very stylistic and controversial look. On top of that, it looks like the crazy-stalker-lady genre that echoes back to The Hand That Rocks The Cradle and Single White Female.
Although the formula looks fairly simplistic, that’s precisely what we need every now and again. Besides, who can resist a TV Spot that ends on such a wink-wink-nudge-nudge line as “My schedule’s been murder!” From director of The Day, Douglas Aarniokoski, Nurse 3D looks to be an old-school mix of classic gruesome slasherness, with some well timed tension.
