Dame Elizabeth Taylor chuckled through a weekend honor as part of this year's Kennedy Center Honors in Washington - but shocked fans with her frail appearance. John Travolta, Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick were among those paying tribute to the 70-year-old actress, who was honored alongside Paul Simon, James Earl Jones, conductor James Levine and dancer Chita Rivera at the ceremony hosted by America's President George W. Bush and his wife Laura. However, it was the Oscar winner's poor health that had most people talking. Using a wheelchair, Taylor struggled through the celebration, explaining, "I'm a little tired. I have quite a few physical problems. My heart may stop at any minute." Her publicist Warren Cowan told concerned fans, "She wants to walk but she just can't do a lot of it." Taylor also received tributes from American Secretary of State Colin Powell and the Gay Men's Chorus Of Washington Dc, which sang "There's Nothing Like A Dame" to her. »
