Claire Danes and Gaby Hoffmann Twerk with Susan Sarandon and Wear Matching Sriracha Outfits After the SAG Awards

At a SAG Awards afterparty Saturday night, Claire Danes and Gaby Hoffmann reminded everyone else: If you're going to dance like no one is watching, it's better to be with a friend. And it definitely helps if you're both wearing the same outfit. Danes, 36, and Hoffmann 34, attended the Weinstein Company/Netflix SAG afterparty on Saturday, trading in their glamorous gowns for matching red Sriracha T-shirts (emblazoned with the phrase "some like it hot") and black jeans, where they proceeded to throw a dance party for two - even twerking! The pair were close throughout the evening, snuggling and dancing and posing for photos, »

‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Oitnb’ Stars Band Together at EW SAG Bash

“Did you see that?” Anthony Mackie posed to fellow partygoers entering inside Chateau Marmont — where stars from some of television’s most popular shows (like “Game of Thrones,” “Orange is the New Black” and “Downton Abbey”) started the SAG celebrating early at Entertainment Weekly’s annual awards eve extravaganza on Friday night. “There’s a woman flashing (her phone conversation with) an old naked dude, holding a glass of wine, waiting for her to come home!” he said to the amusement of surrounding guests — though inside the packed fete, there was action enough.

Game of Thrones'” Alfie Allen, early to arrive, held court in Chateau’s inside area — where he introduced two of his male “mates,” and had a chat with “Downton Abbey’s” Tom Cullen. He proceeded to catch up with the rest of the cast, including Carice van Houten, Hannah Murray and Maisie Williams — who had some »

Yes, Gaby Hoffmann Will Happily Talk About Childbirth in Great Detail on Your Talk Show

23 January 2016 5:40 AM, PST | Vulture | See recent Vulture news »

Gaby Hoffmann made it through the ringer of being a child star, so now she will talk about whatever she wants on your late night talk show, thank you very much. Luckily for us viewers, that means she'll talk about being a doula and supporting Bernie Sanders. But mostly she'll chat about the details of giving birth, weight of the baby included. It's a wonderfully Ali Pfefferman move, except without all that trademark Pfefferman total self-destruction. »

Inside the Golden Globes 2016 After-Parties

11 January 2016 7:21 PM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

This year’s infamous Golden Globe after-parties were colored by two unfortunate events. First, changes to the drop-off system required all partygoers (who didn’t come directly from the show) to take shuttles to the Beverly Hilton out of Century City. Many guests and celebrities were forced to endure hour-long waits on the backed-up lines, and other, less determined, revelers abandoned course completely.

On a far graver note, the celebratory night took a much different turn when guests learned of the passing of legendary musician David Bowie. At around 11 p.m., partygoers fled frantically outside to check their phones for news, entertainment greats raised their glasses in commemorative toasts and DJs at shindigs from HBO to Weinstein honored the British legend by playing mashups of his tunes.

The Variety staff was on hand to share how it all went down.
