Hollywoodnews.com: Those who still refer to a television set as “the idiot box” must not be watching much TV.
Regular viewers of weekly programs like “Mad Men,” “The Good Wife,” “Modern Family,” “Breaking Bad” and “Dancing with the Stars” found plenty of laugh, cry, and cheer about this year. But only one show routinely made its audience members do all three … usually in each and every episode.
“Glee” entered its second season with a mountain of expectations. Miraculously, it surpassed them. Ryan Murphy’s musical-comedy continued to push the medium’s artistic boundaries as glee club director Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) continued to challenge his high-school singers … much to the chagrin of bitter cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch).
Highlights from season two included episodes dedicated to Britney Spears, Madonna and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Guest stars included Meat Loaf, Neil Patrick Harris and Gwyneth Paltrow in a show-stopper. »

This month has been one of the best that I can remember for trailers. All the studios were desperate for their trailer to get released before the Christmas holidays and we were inundated with posts. Since I love trailers so much, the inundation was most welcome. In what I am considering making a monthly post, here’s a roundup of all the trailers so far for December which I have embedded below for your viewing pleasure!
I’ve embedded them in the order in which they were released start December 1st to 31st and if I miss any, please let me know and I’ll update the post.
I really want this to be intereactive so make sure you tell us which trailers you liked the best and which you think will be great or terrible movies from what you’ve seen! So, let’s go!

I utterly adore Jake Shears, and the fact that he’s happy to be a role model for gay teens when so many other celebrities are saying “I’m a performer, not a role model” is 17 different shades of awesome. “If I’m the go-to for new gays, and if I can be someone that gay teenagers can look at as someone who’s happy and who has made a good life for himself, then that’s great.”
The White House Press Corps. has been told in no uncertain terms that they will not be photographing President Obama shirtless while he’s vacationing in Hawaii. Which is a shame, because I bet Putin would do a topless runway show.

Neil Patrick Harris has made public his intention to host 'play dates' for his twins and Elton John and David Furnish's new son Zachary. HollywoodNews.com: Hope you are not confused by my headline!
So as you well know, the 2010 Greggy winners for Couple of the Year Neil Patrick Harris and David Burkta became parents of twins in October.
In case you were wondering whose sperm was used to inseminate the surrogate mother, here is your answer: “We inserted two eggs, one with my sperm, one with David’s sperm and they both took,” he tells ‘People’ magazine.
David said holding their children in the delivery room shortly after their birth was “just absolute joy,” says Burtka. “We had two babies that we made. With help.”
“Everyone says that it’s such a blur after it happens,” says Neil says of becoming parents to fraternal twins Harper Grace and Gideon Scott, born Oct. 12 via surrogate. “I find myself constantly just trying to wrap my mind around it.”

Like Harris and his partner, David Burtka, John and Furnish welcomed their bundle of joy via surrogate. But why the name Zachary? "A friend gave us a book of baby names, and we started to flick through it, but we have always loved the name Zachary and kept coming back to it," the couple told Us. Michael Musto has released his annual Year in Review, and decided to don the guises of noteworthy 2010 celebs, including Justin Beiber, Mel Gibson, and as you can see above, Lady Gaga. Although truth be told I think he looks more like Sylvia Miles on her way to the corner store. The first preliminary reviews of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark are in, and the news is not good. Below you can see Nate Berkus talk with Ae favorite Will Phillips about his advocacy, and as usual, Will shows himself to be mature far beyond his years.

BabyCenter, a popular pregnancy and parenting website, announced its list for the best and worst celebrity baby names of 2010. The results were based on a site poll of almost 2000 parents.
Rhea Durham and David Burtka (and famous partners Mark Wahlberg and Neil Patrick Harris, respectively) find themselves at the top of the best list with classic names Grace Margaret for Rhea and Mark, and Harper Grace for David and Neil. (Interestingly, David and Neil also made the least favorable list with the other twin in their pair, Gideon Scott.)
Topping the worst list are Jamie Oliver's son Buddy Bear, Alicia Keys' son Egypt and Will Ferrell and wife Viveca Paulin's son Axel. We're sure they are all lovely babies, but we kind of agree about the weird names.

Elton John has been receiving congratulatory notes from around Twitter-Wood this week, thanks to the birth of his son Zachary. Neil Patrick Harris even wants to pencil in some play dates as soon as possible.
In other tweets, Olivia Wilde graciously accepted some congrats from Chris Kattan, while John Cusack attempted to clear up some confusion about his travels among his friends. And I wouldn't recommend doing to your iPhone what Penn Jillette put his through, but he seems sold on the product's ability to withstand a two-story fall. Find out why -- and who wants to get married in a tribute to Hugh Hefner -- after the jump.

Harris and Burtka reportedly relocated to a more kid-friendly area in Hollywood so that they could focus on their young children, states People. Harris is enjoying every aspect of the children even down to the way they smell.

A spoiler free review of Being Human USA is out, and while they reviewed a really rough cut, they liked it. They love the chemistry between Sam Witwer and Sam Huntington. They’re shocked that Witwer doesn’t have to use his abs to carry the performance. Cautiously optimistic?

Disney has installed a command center under Cinderella’s castle. But it’s not to take over the world using singing woodland creatures. It’s to manipulate visitors to the park when it’s crowded. They’ll send characters out to long lines, or to lead parades of guests to less crowded parts of the park.

The People's Choice awards are just a little over a week away, and believe it or not there is still time to support your favorite New Drama or Comedy show. Those two categories will remain open until the awards air on January 5th, which means fans of the comedies - "$#*! My Dad Says," "Better With You," "Mike & Molly," "Outsourced" and "Raising Hope" - as well as the dramas - "The Event," "Hawaii Five-0," "Hellcats," "Nikita" and "No Ordinary Family" - still have time to scare up votes for their respective favorites. (Full list of TV related Pca nominees here.)
In the meantime, CBS has released a list of celebs that are planning on attending the People's Choice Awards - and it looks like a who's who of popular TV. Here's the lowdown from CBS:

You could never accuse "How I Met Your Mother" of being particularly forthcoming with its preview images.
Yes, Nph gets a double billing, playing Barney and "Dr. Stangel." But is this a joke or another doppelganger? Either way, it's a step in the right direction for the pregnancy-challenged couple.
The real question at this point is which of the two is causing the hold up. Judging by facial expressions, we're going with Lily. Or perhaps this is just Jason Segel breaking character at the sight of Nph in Steven Keaton beard:
