  • Appeared in Snoop Dogg's video "Doggy Dogg World" (1994).
  • Sang title song to the film The Big Doll House (1971); this song is featured on the soundtrack album for Jackie Brown (1997).
  • Sang background vocals on two albums by singer/composer Bobby Womack ("Communication"-1971-United Artists Records and "Understanding"-1972-United Artists Records).
  • In the 1980s she performed in the stage play "Frankie and Johnny at the Clair de Lune" with actor Richard Lawson; Grier gained eighty pounds to prepare for this role. The prolific dramatist Terrence McNally authored this play, which was adapted for the screen; See Frankie and Johnny (1991).
  • Also in the eighties, Grier performed in the stage play "Fool for Love" written by the Oscar-nominated actor & Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist Sam Shepard. Shepard's play was adapted for the screen in 1985; See Fool for Love (1985).
