I thought i'd update some of her fans. I am quite fortunate as i have joint bussiness ventures with bridgets long serving agent Paul Wiseman. Bridget has not faded from the acting scene but had decided anyways by 2000 that she would have wanted to take a break from acting at some stage. Subsequently she got married to danny elfman and has become a mother. Her priorities have changed somewhat and despite receiving a number of offers, both to return to the big screen aswell as some television offers, she has been somewhat reluctant to return. Her agent has said though that she will return to acting possibly within 3 years if there is still a niche for her. I was also quite fascinated to hear about some of the roles she turned down in her career. She was brian de palma's first choice to play the female lead in "carlito's way" . A decision was made mutually that she was too young at the time. She was also offered the role opposite aidan quinn in "blink". The series ally mcbeal was written and david kelley actually said that when he conceived the idea that bridget fonda was how he pictured it. More recently she was offered the role in a movie called "dark water" which she turned down and the movie was then undone and swopped studios < eventually released and jennifer connelly played the lead. She also turned down a cameo role on television as a lawyer on "prison break" . This role was then scripted out and relaced by a male . The character "Nick Saverin" .
