Ami Dolenz was born on January 8, 1969 in Burbank, California, USA as Ami Bluebell Dolenz. She is an actress and producer, known for General Hospital (1963), Can't Buy Me Love (1987) and Ticks (1993). She has been married to Jerry Trimble since August 10, 2002.

An only child, she is the daughter of Micky Dolenz and Samantha Juste. However, she has three younger half-sisters on Micky's side of the family.
Granddaughter of George Dolenz and Janelle Johnson Dolenz, niece of Coco Dolenz.
Announced to her parents at the age of 15 that she wanted to be an actress. She submitted a tape to Junior Star Search and won in the Junior acting division for the year. Interestingly enough, Tony Danza appeared with her in her comedy skit for the show, five years before her breakout role as his daughter in She's Out of Control (1989).
Dropped out of high school at age 17, but later stated that she regretted it and worked with a tutor to complete her education.
Has been involved with a number of companies over the years, including KidPix Productions (a boutique she owns with her husband that transforms kids' birthday parties into movie sets), a theater company called the Write Act Repertory, and most recently, the supplement company Genesis Pure.
Taught a series of children's acting classes called Theatricks for Kids.
She was unaware that archive footage of herself was used to make the CD-ROM game Bloodwings: Pumpkinhead's Revenge (1995) until after its release in stores. However, she insists that the game is "definitely better" than her movie Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1993), on which "Revenge" is based.
Says that the two projects fans bring up most are She's Out of Control (1989) and General Hospital (1963).
