What do a boy genius and a silent film star have in common? They're both 39!
Maybe it's because of his small screen character's unbelievable intelligence yet incredible naivety that we thought Jim Parsons was barely pushing 25. But, in fact, "The Big Bang Theory" star is the same age as sage and silent "The Artist" actor, Jean Dujardin.
Both of these accomplished actors -- Parsons has two Emmys and Dujardin an Oscar -- are pushing the big 4-0.
But these two leading male actors aren't the only ones who surprised us when we learned they shared the same age. "Jersey Shore" guidette Snooki and soul-baring singer Adele are both 24; Marky Mark Wahlberg and "Revenge" star Gabriel Mann are both 40; and aftershave aficionado Macaulay Culkin and legs-for-days Gisele Bundchen are both 31.
Check out these same age celebs below. Which pairing is the most shocking?

Anna Chlumsky is all grown up and starring as Julia Louis-Dreyfus' sidekick in "Veep," from creator Armando Iannucci.
The very funny comedy, airing Sunday nights on HBO at 10 Pm, focuses on Julia, as Vice President Selina Meyer, and her team, including Anna as Amy Brookheimer, her Chief of Staff.
Anna, of course, first rose to fame starring in "My Girl," with Macaulay Culkin. After taking some time off as a young woman to get an education (she majored in international studies), settle down with her husband, and embark on a short career in publishing, she was wooed ...

One of Edvard Munch’s four copies of The Scream was auctioned off in New York City tonight, but I’m guessing you didn’t have the record $119.9 million The Associated Press reported it fetched – unless you won the mega millions a few weeks ago.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the artist’s talents. In fact, you probably already have — as the image has left its mark on the pop culture landscape. The influence of Munch’s famous painting can be seen in everything from movies to television and even advertising.

Well, it appears that the shoe is most certainly on the other foot in apartment 23.
In some exclusive footage of Wednesday's (May 2) episode of "Don't Trust the B----," we see that June (Dreama Walker) and James Van Der Beek go out for a riotous night on the town. This is much to the dismay of Chloe (Krysten Ritter) who views James as her party buddy only.
James drunkenly tells Chloe it's a shame she didn't join because "they had tons of drugs and a baked potato bar." And just wait until you hear what happened to Macaulay Culkin.
The episode titled "The Wedding" airs at 9:30 p.m. Et on ABC.

Never one to shy away from letting loose, Paris Hilton made her presence known on Saturday night at the A|X Armani Exchange and T-Mobile Neon Carnival near Coachella. The socialite was front and center in the deejay area at the party - which also drew out guests such as Emma Roberts, Gerard Butler and Usher - where she shouted at the crowd and twirled around in her dress. "At one point, she started swinging her head in circles," says an onlooker. "Her hair was flying everywhere. She was definitely having a good time." Earlier in the day, the socialite »

Is Ashton Kutcher making up for lost time?
On the heels of rumors that the soon-to-be divorced "Two and a Half Men" star was hooking up with Rihanna come reports he's dating a woman from his past.
X17Online has reportedly spotted Kutcher, 34, with his "That '70s Show" co-star Mila Kunis, 28, on multiple occasions, and claims the two have even spent the night at each other's houses.

Macaulay Culkin plugged in his iPod for his deejay night at New York's Le Poisson Rouge. The actor was hanging out at the bar, drinking light beer and chatting with friends and fans who approached him at the venue as his tunes played. Culkin was animated for a majority of the night - and chatting with a blonde female - but he did engage the crowd, handing out sheets of paper and challenging them to an arty game: to cut out paper dolls resembling him. At one point, he had a doll propped up in front of him at the bar, »

It's been a while since Anna Chlumsky won Macaulay Culkin's (and much of the movie-going public's) heart in "My Girl," but some new pictures of her from the premiere of her new HBO show "Veep" prove she's still ridiculously photogenic.
Above, Chlumsky poses on the red carpet at the New York and Washington, D.C. premieres of "Veep." The comedy stars "Seinfeld" alumna Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a fictional vice president. Chlumsky stars as the veep's chief of staff.
So, aside from "My Girl 2," what has Chlumsky been doing since 1991 when "My Girl" first hit theaters? She's acted in several Off Broadway plays and even guested on a 2007 episode of "30 Rock." She also appeared in Armando Iannucci's BBC Films political satire "In The Loop" and his series "The Thick of It."
"Veep," by the way, is an adaptation of "The Thick of It."

Forgive us, but we can’t help but repeat what we all said when Anna Chlumsky appeared on the red carpet for The Iron Lady last year: She’s not My Girl anymore … she’s all woman. Seeing the 21-year-old on the red carpet for her own new project, HBO’s Veep, returned all those warm fuzzy feelings we have about her 1991 movie that Macaulay Culkin recently tried to eradicate. And now we can look forward to seeing her as Amy Brookheimer, an awesome and hilariously ambitious chief of staff to Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ vice president. Also, we want that slinky, retro black gown.
Check out this trailer for her character and catch the premiere of Veep on Sunday, April 22, at 10 p.m.

Did you know that most of the radio call-ins on 90s sitcom "Frasier" were actually big celebrities? Thanks to this video that was first posted on Reddit and went viral over the weekend, a lot more people probably do.
The many folks who phoned into Frasier's radio show with various degrees of mental illness weren't just Hollywood voice-over actors. They were actually Christopher Reeve, Art Garfunkel, John Lithgow, Matthew Broderick, Ray Liotta, Ron Howard, Bill Paxton, Helen Mirren, little Hillary Duff (you can hear her at the very end) and more.
Watch out for Macaulay Culkin calling in as a man mocked for his childlike voice, Roz hitting on Kevin Bacon and Cindy Crawford calling in as "Bill," who is undergoing a certain "transition." As the YouTube description points out: "Bonus: Watch Him Age"

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are getting more serious with their relationship. After being spotted packing on the Pda for several times, the couple who met during the filming of "The Amazing Spider-Man" have reportedly moved in together in an apartment in New York City.
A friend of the couple told Life & Style magazine that the twosome "have a really nice apartment" in the Big Apple. They reportedly did all the decorating together. "They wanted a subtle, understated look that was comfortable," added the insider, who also claimed that Emma and Andrew's relationship is going strong. "They're in a good place. Both of them are very nice people, very down-to-earth and caring. They're just two cool people."

Macaulay Culkin may be past his "Home Alone" days, but the franchise lives on. ABC Family has just announced that "Home Alone 5: Alone In The Dark" is in the works.
The fourth installment of "Home Alone," "Home Alone 4: Taking Back the House," was also made for television, premiering on ABC in November 2002, while the first three films -- two of which starred Culkin -- had theatrical debuts.
The "Home Alone 5" will star Christian Martyn as Finn, an 8-year-old boy who moves from California to a creepy house in Maine, which he is convinced is haunted by a ghost.
Determined to catch the ghost in action, Finn sets up a series of traps. But, in true "Home Alone" style, the traps are beneficial in an unexpected way. They end up catching a group of thieves who try to break in while Finn and his sister are left home alone »

It's the gift that just keeps on giving! Some 22 years after the original Home Alone hit theatres and turned Macaulay Culkin into a superstar, production on the fifth installment in the Home Alone series is now underway, targeting a holiday 2012 release. Culkin, of course, dropped out of the franchise after the immediate follow-up, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, with Home Alone 3 starring some other kid (but still being written by John Hughes, believe it or not). Many people probably aren't even aware that there was a Home Alone 4, but it was made for TV and released back in 2002. Now the fifth movie will follow the same path; it is scheduled to premiere on ABC Family as part of their "25 Days of Christmas" programming event. Hey, at least it's not a remake, right? According to Deadline, Home Alone 5 will star Malcolm McDowell, Debi Mazar, Edward Asner, Eddie Steeples, »

Let's be honest, the Home Alone franchise has been dead ever since Alex D. Linz tried to sit in for Macaulay Culkin as an all new character defending his house against criminals in Home Alone 3. A young Scarlett Johansson even appears in that film, but she probably wants to forget that as much as we do. Since then another terrible sequel with a new young actor bringing Kevin McCallister back into the mix and new burglars featuring French Stewart, but nobody has really been paying attention. Now, on the brink of the predicted end of the world, ABC Family has announced the apocalyptic sounding sequel Home Alone 5: Alone in the Dark. Hit the jump for more. Going back to the Christmas feel of the original two films (both of which are solid family films that should be watched every holiday season), this one, which will premiere during the cable network's 25 Days of Christmas, »

What if Macaulay Culkin's Kevin McCallister from Home Alone wasn't the lovable trouble maker in the John Hughes mold, but was instead a vicious psychopath more in line with Jack the Ripper than Dennis the Menace? This is the essential question asked by Steven C. Miller in his sophomore feature. Replace marbles with razor sharp jacks, replace paint cans with sharpened branches, and replace simulated gunfire with a pump-action 12 gauge shotgun, and you've got the basic premise of The Aggression Scale. You've also got a pretty damned good time at the cinema. The story begins when crime boss Bellavance (Ray Wise) is released from prison. He has 48 hours to get his family and flee the country before he gets put away for »

The house where Kevin McCallister swung his burglar-besting paint cans has been taken off the market. Back in May, the sprawling home from 1990's "Home Alone" went up for sale for a cool $2.4 million. (Hands on cheeks!) The 14 bedroom/3.2 bath home boasts more than a terrifying basement and booby-trapped accoutrements -- the Georgian mansion is situated just north of Chicago, on a half-acre of land, a stone's throw from Lake Michigan. Unfortunately, even the image of a blissful pizza-eating Macaulay Culkin wasn't able to win over buyers. The McCallister home sold for 1.58 million. Could have been the tarantula?
