The man dressed up like Colin Kaepernick during a segment with FS1 star Jason Whitlock is not white ... despite what the Internet thinks.  He's actually Kid from Kid 'n Play -- aka Christopher Reid, star of 'House Party' 1, 2 and 3 (remember, he was replaced by Immature in 'House Party 4').  Whitlock has been receiving all sorts of hate online from people who think he dressed up a white dude to mock the NFL Qb. »

Neil Calloway On Why The English Accent Still Reigns Supreme With Hollywood Villains…

I was watching, and enjoying Logan Lucky earlier this week; it’s a well made, fresh, fun film that will make you laugh. One moment, however, had me wincing into the drink I’d snuck into the cinema (if you think I’m paying the prices they charge you’re very much mistaken). Seth MacFarlane, a man whose appeal remains elusive to me, turns up playing an obnoxious energy drink company founder, one of the two most unlikeable characters in the film. He plays him with the only accent a privately educated guy from Connecticut can play a character like that; a British one.

It’s a peculiar type of British accent, though. One I’m sure you’ve heard before but one that only exists in one particular place; when Americans are trying to do British »

Dave Bautista on Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Pratt’s chemistry in Avengers: Infinity War

Next year sees Marvel assembling (almost) all of the heroes of the McU to do battle against Thanos in the hugely-anticipated superhero epic Avengers: Infinity War, which means that for the first time we’ll be seeing Earth’s Mightiest Heroes sharing the screen with the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Speaking to Yahoo! to promote the release of his new movie Bushwick, Dave Bautista has teased this team-up between the Avengers and the Guardians, and in particular the chemistry between Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord.

“I’m excited about some of the stuff we did, but I don’t know what’s going to make it in the film,” said Bautista. “I always thought there would be a lot of good interaction between Tony Stark and Drax, and there was. And Star-Lord and Tony Stark as well. When you put those two guys in a room together, »

Movie Review – Logan Lucky (2017)

28 August 2017 6:15 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Logan Lucky, 2017.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig, Riley Keough, Katie Holmes, Seth MacFarlane, Hilary Swank, and Katherine Waterston.

Synopsis:

Two brothers attempt to pull off a heist during a Nascar race in North Carolina.

It was a relief when Steven Soderbergh announced he was returning to feature film making. Whilst his hiatus was extremely busy, it’s a real joy to see his signature style back on the big screen again. Logan Lucky is by no means a perfect film, but it’s a ton of fun and has some great performances.

Soderbergh regular Channing Tatum stars as Jimmy Logan, a down on his luck guy who’s just been fired from his job filling in sinkholes beneath a Nascar track. Along with his brother Clyde (Driver), he decides to pull off a heist during a race. With the help of incarcerated bank robber »

But I am doing it and it’s really amazing and an amazing thing to be part of.”

Paul Bettany on Avengers: Infinity War: “It felt like the biggest movie that I’ll ever make”

16 August 2017 5:08 AM, PDT | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Avengers: Infinity War is a huge milestone for Marvel Studios. What tentatively started with Jon Favreau’s Iron Man, and successfully branched out with 2012’s The Avengers, has blossomed into a lucrative, interwoven, and exciting Cinematic Universe. All this… every character and event so far… has been leading up to a climactic battle with Thanos. Avengers: Infinity War promises to bring every story thread together, and unite all the heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to go to war.

Understandably, actually being in the film must be pretty unbelievable. Talking to Collider, The Vision actor Paul Bettany expressed his awe over the sheer scale of the upcoming Marvel film:

“It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one. It’s fucking crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, »
