Related2017 Renewal Scorecard: What’s Coming Back? What’s Getting Cancelled? What’s on the Bubble?

“We won’t be seeing Scream Queens this season,” Fox Television Group CEO Gary Newman told reporters Monday. “Scream Queens was an anthological series. Ryan [Murphy] told the story of the group of characters he created over the course of the two seasons. It feels as if it was a complete story. »

The Best They Ever Looked: Kirstie Alley in “Loverboy”

15 May 2017 4:00 AM, PDT | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

If you are in your mid 30s or older and haven’t seen the movie Loverboy then you have some serious problems.  It’s easily one of my favorite 80s movies of all-time (1989 to be exact) and actually hits home because I spent 3 summers as a pizza delivery boy.  In any event it’s a comedy starring Patrick Dempsey as a college student trying to pay his tuition for college.  He gets a job as a pizza delivery boy and like all pizza guy’s dreams, gets the ultimate pizza delivery order, a beautiful woman who wants more than just extra anchovies.

I'd just like to say thank you to everybody who took the time out of their day to be a part of this. I know there were a lot I didn't answer, but there were literally hundreds! I was a captive of how much time I had. Also, I really hope you guys go see Lost in London, because it's a labour of love, and a lot of great people spent a lot of time working on it. And having said all that - have a great day!

The Jenny Craig spokeswoman, 66, celebrated the holidays for the first time as a grandmother, and says being able to spend Christmas with her then 6-month-old grandson Waylon Tripp Parker was “amazing.”

“My son and his girlfriend came to work for me for three months, so I had my grandson with me for three months and it was nothing short of stupendous and exhilarating,” Alley tells People.

One day after the inauguration, hundreds of thousands of women and men flooded the streets of cities across the globe, marching to show their support for women’s rights.

The marches emphasized the need to protect the rights, safety, health, and freedom of women (and men) around the nation – rights that many fear are in jeopardy with the new Trump administration.

Marches took place in Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and many other cities large and small – including Park City, Utah, were the Sundance Film Festival is taking place.

Big names involved in the Women’s Marches included Chelsea Handler, Charlize Theron, Jane Fonda, Madonna, Jamie Lee Curtis and Janelle Monáe, among many others. They spoke at the events and walked alongside other women and men to protest Donald Trump’s policies.

For Kirstie Alley, the holidays used to be synonymous with overindulging — but this year she didn’t fall back into old habits.

“I’m much more disciplined,” the Scream Queens star, 66, tells People. “I love sugar cookies that are frosted with Santa’s faces and trees, so I didn’t order any and I didn’t have any. My friends were dismayed because I usually give them out as gifts.”

She also avoided her two other trigger foods: linguini with clams, and cheese.

“I discovered triple cream Brie cheese this year and I discovered how good that was, so I »

‘Scream Queens’ Season 3? Fox Execs Give an Update

11 January 2017 9:56 AM, PST | Variety - TV News | See recent Variety - TV News news »

Will there be a third season of “Scream Queens?”

Following a sophomore season of declining overnight ratings, TV journalists asked Fox executives about the future status of “Scream Queens” at the Television Critics Association press tour.

Speaking to reporters, including Variety, at the Wednesday event in Pasadena, Calif., Fox’s Gary Newman and David Madden gave a slight update on the horror comedy anthology series. Though they didn’t say whether or not “Scream Queens” would be back for a third season, the execs did tell press members that they are happy with the show and its young demo.

“It’s very much still in consideration for a renewal,” Madden told Variety and a small group of reporters. “The ratings don’t tell the whole story; because it’s such a young audience, you can’t really even see the full picture even in L+3.”

The 80s Movie Guide For The New Parent

6 January 2017 4:15 AM, PST | Flickeringmyth | See recent Flickeringmyth news »

Tom Jolliffe with the 80s movie guide for the new parent…

Last December I welcomed my baby daughter into the world. It was a momentous day. My first, and like all new parents who find the weight of responsibility fall into their lap after 9 months of increasing inevitability, I suddenly realised I had absolutely no fucking idea what to do for the next 18 years of raising this little blob into becoming an adult. Sure I could have asked other parents, or Googled, but I decided that perhaps watching a load of parentally themed films from the 80’s might be a better idea.

So what can we say about the parental movie of the 80’s? This isn’t merely about someone being a genetic mother or father I should point out, but it’s the notion of the protagonist(s) being blissfully unprepared for parental responsibility being thrust upon them either temporarily or permanently, »
