Last week, Saban Films debuted a new poster for director Rob Zombie's upcoming horror-thriller 31, which will hit theaters just before Halloween. Today, the studio has unveiled the first full trailer for this highly-anticipated movie, which comes nearly two years after the first trailer was released. Now that the project has distribution and a release date in place, we can surely expect to see much more from 31 in the months ahead.
From the visionary mind of the man who brought us House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects and Halloween comes the horrific story of five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game or life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.
31 stars Rob Zombie's wife Sheri Moon Zombie, along with Richard Brake, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Jeffrey Daniel Phillips, Lew Temple, Meg Foster and Malcolm McDowell. The supporting cast includes Elizabeth Daily, Daniel Roebuck, Tracey Walter, Ginger Lynn-Allen, Judy Geeson, Torsten Vorges, Jane Carr and Jeffrey Daniel Phillips. Richard Brake's character Doom-head has been called the next great horror villain by the director, but we'll have to wait and see how audiences respond to this character.
Rob Zombie is directing from his own screenplay and producing with Andy Gould, Matthew Perniciaro, Michael Sherman, Eddie Vaisman and Mike Elliott. Saban Films has set an October 21 release date for 31, putting this movie in a highly-competitive weekend where six other movies are currently slated to open in wide release. Also opening on October 21 is Paramount's Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Lionsgate's horror-comedy Boo! A Madea Halloween, 20th Century Fox's comedy Keeping Up With the Joneses, Focus Features' A Monster Calls, Universal's Ouija: Origin of Evil and PureFlix's drama I'm Not Ashamed.
31 was originally slapped with an Nc-17 rating by the MPAA back in December 2015, and even after Rob Zombie submitted a re-edited cut, the MPAA still gave the film an Nc-17 rating. After another round of edits, the MPAA finally gave the movie an R rating this past January, for "strong bloody horror violence, pervasive language, sexual content and drug use." It's possible that Rob Zombie will release a gore drenched director's cut sometime in the future. Until then, check out the new trailer for Rob Zombie's 31. »

Before Rob Zombie became an acclaimed horror director with such cult hits as House Of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects and The Lords of Salem, he was an acclaimed rock musician who directed his own music videos. Today, he returns to that realm with a new music video/short film called Everybody's (bleeping) in a U.F.O. And it's pretty insane!
This creepy sci-fi extravaganza stars a host of special guests and musicians including Rob Zombie himself, who takes the lead. We also get to see John 5, Piggy D, Ginger Fish, Jeff Daniel Phillips and the ever present Sheri Moon Zombie as Miss Bunny Peachbottom. Bunny has had sex with an extraterrestrial and lives to tell about it. Now, she's sharing her exploits with a class full of astronauts. Yeah, it's pretty weird, and only gets weirder from there.
This short film/music video is definitely Nsfw. And »

31 follows five carnival workers who are kidnapped and held hostage in an abandoned, Hell-like compound where they are forced to participate in a violent game, the goal of which is to survive twelve hours against a gang of sadistic clowns. Said Saban Films President Bill Bromiley.
"31 is a treat not just to horror fans, but fans of true auteur filmmaking. The film is executed in true stylistic Zombie fashion. Rob is an unrivaled talent, »

Rob Zombie took the Sundance Film Festival by storm back in January when he debuted his new thriller 31. The project had already landed distribution through Alchemy last summer, but they have not issued a release date as of yet. While we wait for the first trailer, Bloody-Disgusting has gotten a hold of new photos, which feature Richard Brake's Doom-Head in full clown makeup. We got our first look at Doom-Head back in September, but the character wasn't showing such a thirst for blood at the time.
Rob Zombie believes Doom-Head will be the next iconic horror villain. Richard Brake plays Doom-Head as a gruesome individual who likes to dismember his victims. Rob Zombie always comes up with unique and clever way of creating memorable characters, a tradition that will certainly continue with 31.

“Nasty Enough To Say Yes!”
Betty (Angel, For Your Thighs Only) is your typical innocent Catholic schoolgirl. One day after studying her bible under the supervision of Sister Rose (Lisa De Leeuw, Pink Champagne) with her party loving friend Catherine (Ginger Lynne, Lust in the Fast Lane), she doses off (religion does that to you.) and finds herself in a world filled with lust, debauchery and some very questionable individuals indeed. Her adventures begin with her watching Catherine get down and dirty with an older guy (Jamie Gillis, Corruption) who thankfully has better taste in women than he does clothes! After the free show, Catherine promises her much more and instantly delivers by sending her to a brothel ran by Madame Rose (De Leeuw again). She’s treated once again to a free show, but finds herself the subject of a bidding war between Senator Bribe (Eric Edwards, Laura’s »

It’s apt that the horror genre is only a step up from pornography in the minds of critics, because whenever a porn star attempts to carve out a “mainstream” career, they usually end up in horror pictures.
You could explain that in several ways. You could side with the critics and say it’s because both genres wallow in the same gutter, and seguing from one exploitation movie to another isn’t really much of an achievement. Or you could say that it’s because horror is the most liberal genre, and therefore the most welcoming to performers who would elsewhere be held up to ridicule.
Each view has something going for it, depending on the movie you’re talking about. The nicest thing that can be said about Evil Breed: The Legend Of Samhain (2003), which features Ginger Lynn, Chasey Lain and Jenna Jameson, is that the girls all look good. »
